- Kevin (2/5): - If you would like to stay at a place where the main host is extremely rude, dismissive and unhelpful this is the place to stay in Bermuda. Roslyn seems to have the main intention of making your stay as unpleasant as possible. What you will find in many other reviews about Roslyn being rude and unhelpful is exactly my experience at this property. I would recommend paying more for another property rather than staying here. Roslyn ruined my Bermuda experience.

There are no restaurants and public transportation is quite a way off. However, the owner is very helpful in setting up taxis and food delivery is available (or you can use the taxi and visit the grocery store and cook yourself in the fully equipped kitchen). I would recommend this guesthouse for its serenity - the pros outweigh the cons which are workable

- Verified traveler (10/5): - This property is located near North Shore Road in Pembroke. It is in a beautiful location and is clean and well kept. It is a little far to walk into Hamilton to get a bus or ferry but taxis can be arranged for $10-12 each way. If you are young and active you can walk this in about 20 min. It is very steep hills. This was the perfect set up for my Aunt and I while visiting Bermuda searching for family history records.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Great apartment not great location - Lovely apartment, clean, comfortable and quite well serviced although the fridge was quite noisy at times throughout the night and you will need to get a few groceries in milk, coffee etc. The bed was very high as it had two mattresses on! It’s in a residential area so not near any restaurants or beaches so must rely on buses, taxis or walk, there is very little street lighting and pavements and buses from Hamilton to the area stop running at 6pm so have to get a taxi back. It is an uphill/downhill walk to the bus stop or into Hamilton so unless you have a car or moped the area may not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Tourists not allowed to hire cars however, a new concept to Bermuda, you can now hire a small electric 2 seater car, but book it well in advance as they go very quickly.

- Jeremy (8/5): Great alternative to high priced hotels - I was very skeptical when I booked the Windsong over a traditional hotel and after arrival, it definitely took some time for me to get used too but that was no big deal. This was our 2nd stay in Bermuda and this was a great way to save money compared to staying at a hotel. We were greeted by Roslyn who was very nice and brought us to our room. The room was nice and clean on arrival. The AC was not on yet so was hot at first. The shower drain in our room did not drain but was promptly fixed after bringing to Roslyn's attention. I would say the one issue we had was when our room was cleaned during the day, our air conditioners were turned off. We were out from morning to right before dinner and would come back to get ready for dinner and go back out, so when we would return it was rather hot in the room considering it was high 80s/low 90s our whole trip. However, we did not bring this up to Roslyn so I am not saying she refused to leave them on, just thought this was odd. I thought the location of the Windsong was very good. We rented a scooter the whole trip, as we did on our first trip, and its about a 5 minute drive into Hamilton city. We took a taxi a couple nights into Hamilton and it was about $12 so not too bad. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider staying here when we do come back. Roslyn was very nice for the short time we interacted with her. I would definitely recommend the Windsong to anyone considering it.

- Saonjie (2/5): Worst experience I have ever encountered!! - My friends and I went to Bermuda for the carnival and this was our first time on the island. I decided to stay a little longer than my friends to relax and enjoy some me time, therefore I booked a one bedroom apartment at Windsong Guest Apartments. My cousin had issues with her flight and had to a day later than expected. This was something last minute. Upon arrival the owner of the apartment was EXTREMELY rude when she found out that my cousin was staying one day with me. I told her I understand why she is upset but I am willing to pay extra for her since she was not originally on the reservation. She was raising her voice at me and I had to ask her several times to not raise her voice and then she proceeded to make a racist remark stating "I know your kind" which she repeated several times. I did not feel comfortable staying there, therefore I checked out that same day and stayed at Sandpiper Guests Apartments where I had a WONDERFUL experience. As soon as I returned home I filed a complaint with Expedia and contacted my credit card company to receive a full refund. I travel frequently and have NEVER had such a horrible experience.

Although public transportation is easily accessible, buses don't run out there after 4 in the afternoon so we had to take taxis home every night which is very costly. We were nervous about renting mopeds, but if you're game, this place would be great.
- Casey (2/5): Beware of Landlord! - Not worth dealing with a dishonest person. While there may be some good reviews for this place as it is very nice and clean, it is not worth having to deal with this person. I emailed a few times before I arrived and was told I needed to pay additional fees. This person said I could not receive a refund and purposely did not respond to my e-mails in order to make life extremely hard for us when I arrived. this person was yelling, screaming, insulting, defaming, etc. and is not worth dealing with. Doesn't know how to run a business. *Expedia has asked me to make about 10 revisions to this review. I'd love to provide more details but this is the best I can do. Watch out!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Unhappy Guest - I will not stay here again.When arriving to Windsong i could not find anyone to let me into my room and afew other things i was displeased with There is a book of rules to go by.I felt like i was a school kid who was in trouble for not doing dishes before i left for the day I was left a book of rules.Alot of times i went to her office and she was unavailable.Not what i was looking for.I go every summer to Bermuda.This will not be on my list to stay.But it was very quite neighborhood and close to town.But not my cup of tea.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Great place to stay..... - In arriving was interrogated and accused several times of coming to have a party even though I assured the landlord no such party was going to occur. Didn't have any alcohol in hand, wasn't loud or rowdy but yet still accused several times. For some odd reason there was a big deal made because I had purchased the room for my guests using my credit for my guests who were visiting the island. She gave me a horrid time because in her view me paying for my guest was suspicious and she told me multiple times that because of this her gut tells her she should cancel my reservation (it was 9 o'clock at night). After finally getting settled in the room the stay was great until the next morning when the landlords grandson walked into the house without knocking and unannounced and asked if the airconditioner was on. (An hour before checkout) I understand that people may have had bad experiences in the past but making new visitors feel like criminals (as we were told if she feels anything fishy going on she will call the police on us) is not acceptable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A home away from home - This hotel was fabulos and right down the street from Hamilton where everything was including public transportation, ferry ride, which leave every hour on the hour.. Mopeds are great to get around if you know where your going, roads are narrow so be very careful if you chose to rent one.. The people are amazing,very friendly, and taxi drivers are awesome as well.. This is a great place to stay and we will be returing with our children (s). The owner Roslyn was amazing and very helpful.. My new home away from home. Windsong quest apt. Bermuda, pembroke..
- Susan (10/5): This is a home away from home. - Rosalyn the owner/manager is so kind and accommodating. You get fast access Wi-Fi, full kitchen/dining area, living room and king size bed. I slept soundly, felt safe and was close enough that with a cab I was in town in 10 minutes for $10. Best of all it’s a nice view and the walks in the morning were enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here.

- Samuel (10/5): Winding Guest Apartments is a super-bargain. - These are fully furnished apartments and I do mean fully. Roslyn, the manager tidies up daily and otherwise is available for answering questions. They are very very much larger than a motel room and so quiet you can hear the tiny frogs peep at night. The garden is pleasant for an evening glass of wine and there are no bugs (thanks frogs!). Your next door neighbor is a church. At half the cost of a motel / hotel Winding is a super-bargain.
- Geoffrey (8/5): Comfortable and pleasant without a huge price tag - A 3 night visit with my daughter. Quite a long taxi ride from airport (and quite expensive) and a reasonably long walk to town of Hamilton. A small but reasonably well stocked supermarket is within walking distance, but beware, it is a steep walk back up the lane way if you have heavy groceries. Overall a pleasant place to stay for a reasonable price (for Bermuda at least) and a nice change from the usual hotel room. The location is a residential area but we found by walking into the main town (Hamilton) and buying 2 day bus/ferry passes we could travel quite easily to most areas as well as getting a scenic drive or ferry trip in the process. Lady running the place friendly and helpful.
