- Monica (10/5): - I left the Tucson Anaheim area for a cheaper hotel room on a Saturday night. This room is just over a hundred bucks and it was in a very nice neighborhood next to downtown Brea. For Saturday night I think it's a good value for the area.

The rooms, furnishings, and overall building present a modern and appealing aesthetic. As a frequent guest due to my proximity to the location, I have consistently been impressed by the staff's warmth and hospitality. It truly feels like returning home when I am greeted by their friendly smiles. On one occasion, a minor issue arose when my boyfriend's hair dye stained the towels and shower curtain. Upon being informed during my subsequent stay, I was quite embarrassed. However, the owner addressed the matter with remarkable understanding and kindness. I highly recommend this establishment to everyone and often refer to it as The Regency Hotel, as it offers a superior experience compared to less reputable accommodations. - Steven (8/5): - This is a bare bones room. None of the little extras you get at a "hotel". No free ice (get your quarters ready!), no hair dryer provided, etc. BUT, the room was exceptionally clean and provided just what we needed.

- Jose (8/5): BREA Regency Stay - Our stay was good. Very close to the event venue we had scheduled for that evening. The room updates were good. It was pleasant for the one night we needed. Both night stand had ports for wife and I to each charge our devices. No need to share ports. Bed was comfortable, bedding was crisp and clean. Only two pillows but both were sufficiently plump for a good night's rest. Shower was clean and water ran hot right away. The towels could have been fluffier/thicker/newer but they worked. Lastly, the room had an excellent mini fridge, a microwave, but no coffee maker. The coffee shop was a block away. An easy walk after checkout.

- Joaquin (4/5): - Check in was like checking into jail. There is bullet proof glass and a tiny area that feels like the worst doctor's office in the proctologist specialty. The person who checked me in didn't even say hello. Didn't ask if i want 1st or 2nd floor. Just took my ID and began to charge me a $100 deposit. The entire property wasn't worth the deposit. The beds were worse than a homeless person's cardboard box. Not worth $113!!! Not worth ever staying at this "Motel".

- Amy (6/5): Did not live up to the ratibgs - Room was spacious, but the bed was very squeaky, sheets were old and didn't want to stay on, stained. A/C fan stayed on and rattled making it difficult to sleep. Plantation shutters with no black out didn't help either. We had a late night at Knotts Scary Farm and had to leave in the morning and didn't get much sleep. Won't be staying there again.

- Verified traveler (8/5): No frills motel - This is a no frills motel (No hair dryer, no luggage rack, no hangers). It was clean enough (found random hair and drains had bad smell). It did have a mini fridge, microwave, tv and working A/C albet on the noisy side. However the bed was comfortable and the price was right for a 1 night stay, would stay again.

- Daniel (4/5): Dirty and moldy - My wife and I got the hot tube room for our anniversary. The tube was nice but that was about all. The room was dirty, the sink was plugged and leaked and it looked like a leak in the ceiling had been patched but had dark spots which I can only assume was mold.

- Margaret (2/5): Clean but not recommended for families - The room was clean and recently updated. However, my children were not comfortable staying there. If we left the blinds open, people walking by could see in our room and there is bulletproof glass at the check-in window. We only left our luggage there for a few hours because we decided to go to a hotel where we felt safer, they would not refund our money. I would not recommend this hotel for families with young children.

All towels had yellow and light brown stains on them very disgusting. The fresh towels the next day were the same. I think this place is used as a flop house.

- Dorene (8/5): - This is a good basic motel. Clean room with a comfortable bed and well lit/safe parking. We have stayed here several times when visiting our son in college. The price is very affordable compared to other places. The room could use fresh paint and some minor updates but overall is perfect for what we needed. I would suggest bringing pillows and toiletries. There is a microwave and mini fridge but no hair dryer. There is no elevator so if you have a hard time walking up stairs you should ask for a downstairs room. So glad we found this place.

- Bryan (8/5): - It was great, it was a good spot to stay at, not to much drama or any sort of things like that, the room was clean, had a refrigerator, a microwave, ac/ heater, nice looking TV, the bathroom area was actually pretty big, which I'm surprised because there usually not that big which is not a bad thing, only complaint was for a tall/ hefty guy like me the bed was on the lower side I prefer them a couple feet taller but it was still comfortable plus for the price and the amount of space it has or how peaceful it was there, plus its super close to restaurants and the cleaning lady's are super nice and really hard working, and the lady at the front desk very nice and very helpful, thank you for making this a good experience for me, I will be back.💯👍

Minor points, mainly for feedback: - would be good to have coat hangers. - I think most people prefer led lights that are ‘warn/soft white’, not the bluish ‘daylight’ ones.

- Eric (8/5): - Room was clean and we felt safe. There was a microwave, refrigerator, and WiFi. The heating and air conditioning was not modern enough to shut off when not needed; so we had to listen to it running all night (until we shut it off). There was no carpet on the floors and no blanket on the bed.
- Lisa (8/5): - The room was nice and clean, and the check-in staff was helpful. The only issue we had was that there wasn't a towel rack/shelf in the bathroom nor any shelf surface in the shower. I had to put my toiletries on the shower floor and my towel was hanging outside across from the bathroom door. I don't like setting my clothes or towel on the toilet lid. I've never been in a motel that didn't have a towel rack in the bathroom which is the only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Not comfortable or clean - It was a non smoking room, but had cigarette burn holes in the bed linens , no fitted sheet, just a flat sheet over the mattress. Stained pillows and sheets. Towels were thin and old. I saw 2 bugs in the room, a roach ran under the tv the night I checked in, and there was a cricket in the bathroom in the morning. I told the person I checked out with about both issues and he really didn't seem to listen or care. Gross place and I didn't sleep well.
