• sally (4/5): - after staying at the Clipper Ship a few times in the past we thought the room was in terrible condition, cramped and poorly supplied. And the cost was much too high for what it offered. The view was nice though.
• Anouk (10/5): Perfect spot to relax - Super location by the sea, we even had a wonderful full moon and sunrise from the patio! Everything was very clean, the bed was really comfy and we appreciated the amenities (fridge, stove, BBQ, microwave, coffee machine, etc.). Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view!

• Donna Lee (8/5): - This motel is quaint (eg. my orange washroom) with a beautiful view of the shoreline! Rooms have balconies overlooking the beach. You can explore the beach, rocks, collect shells and wade in the shallow water. Many thoughtful supplies were put in the kitchenette, the washrm included a deeper sink for washing dishes, and the spacious fridge/freezer held all our ice packs. We had 2 rms, but didn't use the stove nor bbq as we were only there 1 night. The attentive staffperson kindly brought me a kettle too. A few electric outlets in the kitchenette didn't work properly, but the outlet on the stove worked (sorry, I didn't have a chance to report it to the staff). We'd stay here again if we are ever in the area.

• James (10/5): Great Spot! - Really nice spot. Room was very comfortable, fridge, oven and microwave. Staff were very helpful. We had gound up our own coffee to bring and noticed there was a machine that took pods. Asked at the desk if there was anyway to get a regular machine with filters and was provided one with lots of filters. Nice fire pit area and sandy Beach in front. Highly recommend the ocean view rooms especially the rooms with balconies. Would definitely stay again.

Having a full size frig and stove was handy, since there aren't any restaurants within miles. The only things that might be improved are provinding enough dishes for more than 1 person and newer towels.

• Alice (8/5): - I love staying at the Clipper Shipp. I always get the smallest room, which still has everything I need. I bring my food with me, and spend the time resting, walking the beach, reading, sitting on my own deck, watching the sun rise over the water. This time there were lots of children enjoying the beach too, and someone had fireworks after my bedtime. But I just opened my drapes, and enjoyed the view. One of my favourite places.

Talked to another traveller, who stated has been promised other benefits . Owner denied. We have stayed here before under previous owners. It was amazing. We realize there will be starting issues and hope that there are improvements and back to normal. It is truly a beautiful view and t so much to see and do during the day. At this time,unfortunately we will not return.

It was winter but I still managed to get a few walks on the beautiful beach. Cozy stay, exceptional grounds clearing after a winter storm event.

• Todd (8/5): - Set in a beautiful location on the Bay of Fundy and near New River Beach, this was an ideal stopping point on the way to PEI from New England. Far enough off the highway for solitude but still not far. Perhaps the towels and bedding could be updated (it was obviously clean and care had been taken throughout the room), but this would be my only complaint - showing its a age just a bit. But overall, no complaints and I would return.

Didnt get any sleep at all as the neighbors were very noisy. Went to front desk and came up against a locked door...no assistsnce, only a note on the door

• Deborah (8/5): - My gosh, the setting on the bay of fundy is outstanding. Could not be any better minutes to new river beach, from your own balcony steps to stairs to a beautiful beach. Staff could be more welcoming. Did get the feelng that we were a nuisance checking in. Room was clean and adequate, could use an update. This really is a hisden gem. Will come back to have first morning coffee on the beach.

The lady that checked us in was less then friendly, it seemed like we were bothering her to tprocess our payment. In the morning when we were checking out, she was on the phone and couldn't be bothered to acknowledge us. Left our key on a table. But I still would recommend this motel for its price, location and closeness to the Bay Breeze Restaurant. We had a fresh fish burger there that was perfect and the service was awesome even though waitress had already worked a 8hr shift elsewhere before servicing a very busy crowd of customers.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Disappointed - If you are a non-smoker and are allergic to smoke, do not choose this motel for your vacation. This motel is for smokers. Although the rooms themselves are non-smoking, guests are allowed to smoke on the balconies and /or porches. Smoke drifts into nearby windows, which means non-smokers cannot open their balcony doors or bedroom windows --- so, no fresh sea air. Cigarette butts littered the pavement by my porch. Several people smoked right under my bedroom window on Saturday.
• Sabrina (10/5): Pictures doesn’t do justice - what a great find!! - This motel is a really nice place to stay!! We took sea view and it was breathtaking. The place was really clean and even the sheets smelled good so we knew it was well washed. You’ve got way more for the price. Full size fridge, big dinning table, bbq outside and access to a griddle. Website pictures doesn’t do justice. It’s also like 2 minutes from New River Beach provincial park!! We were room 39: shower curtains not waterproof and water going trough. Shower head should be change since it’s spraying in all directions. We also asked for more towels and never received them. But desk lady was nice, she might have just forgotten. Good experience overall and we will be back for sure but longer next time.
