- Michelle (4/5): - I recently stayed at EdgeHill Manor and, unfortunately, found the experience quite disappointing. While the location is excellent—very central and convenient—the property itself is extremely rundown. The rooms were clean, and the bed was reasonably comfortable with a decent mattress, but that’s about where the positives end. The rest of the furniture was outdated, worn, and in need of serious repair or replacement. I had booked a room with a kitchen, expecting some added convenience, but the amenities were so poorly maintained that it simply wasn’t worth the extra cost. It’s a real shame, because with a bit of care and investment, this property could offer a much better experience. The bathrooms were especially unpleasant—my colleague was standing ankle-deep in water by the end of his shower due to poor drainage, and all the showers ran only scalding hot water with no cold option at all. The one upside? The air conditioning did work. Edge Hill Manor has potential, but in its current condition, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Poor lighting on the entrance pathway from the side of property, otherwise walking around a dangerous bend to the front entrance. Also, we had no contact with staff at anytime during our stay.

Being close in if you want a taxi they show up in a few minutes. Ten dollars takes you anywhere in town. It's also good particularly good value for the price. Lana, the owner is very helpful answering questions and if you need anything.

Short walk into Hamilton. Didn't attend the room once to replace towels, clean sides, floor and no water provided in room after a long flight. Letter in room suggested room would be cleaned 'less often' due to COVID but its been 3 years now and the room wasn't cleaned once in 4 days.

- Iainmc (9/5): Great accommodation, don't hesitate. - It's and older house (with lots of character). Room 6 was large and with a very comfortable (huge) bed and good linen and towels. Good bathroom and walk-in shower (no bath). The room had a microwave, coffee machine and fridge (which I didn't use). Loverly private terrace with view. This isn't really a "hotel" but if you want comfortable accommodation in a great location this is for you. It a short walk downhill to the Princess for their coffee shop and taxi rank. Didn't meet Lana, but here sister was great and helpful. They use self check-in and check-out arrangement, worked fine. For what it is, it's outstanding.

- nigel (6/5): - This was a last minute booking as our flight got cancelled due to the hurricane, it was pleasant enough, didn’t realize not all rooms had a kitchenette and I brought some groceries. They were kind enough to find me a toaster and the room did have a microwave and fridge. The pool was closed all the time we were there due to the hurricane. Nice big room with a balcony, and a short walk down the hill to hamilton. No elevator so be warned if you have lots of luggage.

The location was great as it was just a short walk to restaurants and shopping in Hamilton. We would recommend the Egdehill to anyone looking for clean, comfortable, convenient, and friendly accommodations. The only thing that I can think of is to provide coffee packets in the room. There was a coffee maker but no coffee. There was fresh coffee available in the main building.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Overpriced unwelcoming but well kept guest house - Overall the stay was OK, but far short of expectations for the price. Arriving late, the key was left pinned to the front door. We booked the standard room but were upgraded to the “executive” room. WiFi was very good. The room was clean and beautifully kept. The guest house’s owner makes every effort to minimise cost, and this is reflect with a number of passive aggressive notes around the room and in the literature, such as “do not turn the A/C below 71 degrees” and “whatever you do...don’t change the mode as it screws up the whole system”. Similar notes about not leaving lights on, not marking the carpet etc really don’t give a good impression as a guest. They had left baby wipes in the bathroom with a note “do not steal the packet”; undoubtedly they’d be better not leaving any in the room at all. With such apparent attention to detail, you’d think they’d fix the balcony door handle which routinely flies off, or the shower which had an oscillating temperature. The tap water in the room didn’t run clear - whilst I would usually drink Bermuda tap water, not here. They had left tiny bottles of water in the room which could be purchased for $2 with cash or $2.50 on card, and other overpriced snacks. The breakfast was a disgrace. There is a flask of coffee, tap water, supermarket “muffin mix” muffins and homemade yoghurt (which was nice). Must be the most limited continental breakfast buffet ever. Check out was tricky as I couldn’t find anyone or anywhere to leave the key.
- Codman2014 (6/5): - I like the proximity of the guest house to the center of Hamilton, where lots of activities and shopping are. There's also a grocery store near the property (though it's VERY expensive). However, there are no sidewalks immediately near the property, which is up on a hill (hence it's name), and it's located on a sharp bend, at the top of a hill. That makes for a very nervous journey avoiding cars, to and from the 10 minute walk to town. The property DEFINITELY needs an upgrade. The carpets in my room were stained. There were substantial ants and ocassional other bugs in my room (which the owner acknowledged there were upon my arrival), but, it is a tropical island, so I could live with it, but my daughters, not. The bathroom and room, overall, were in need of a renovation. The owner presented me with the full receipt that she'd charged to my credit card upon arrival. I thought that typically, you get charged and presented with your receipt after services are rendered (the last day). The owner is a small business person. She was nice, and I appreciated my conversations with her, but she definitely made it clear through her cleaning staff, that we'd be charged for things (e.g., if the beach towels we requested weren't returned, if towels in the room got makeup on them, as that couldn't be properly removed). While I understand she's a small business, getting this information within 24 hours or so of arrival didn't make me feel very appreciated and welcomed. Overall a 2.5

Taxis are readily available a 5minute walk down the hill at the Princess hotel, if you don't want to walk you'd have to call and wait for one to show up at the guest house. The shower drain area was rusted and old. Wifi service did not work my second night so I couldn't get any work done. The owner was very nice but I will not be booking again.

Only wished they had some coffee and creamers available in the room.Since I was there only for four nights I did not want to go grocery shopping. Would stay there again.
- Nancy (8/5): Our Bermudian Experience - This guest house is tucked away in a quiet, more residential area but still within walking distance of the Ferry Terminal, the Bus Terminal, a rental place for scooters and pedal bikes and downtown Hamilton. We felt like we were coming home after a day of touring the Island. Our room was located in the main building which was like entering your own home. We were provided with a front door key and room key. We had our own ensuite bathroom and a large balcony with table and chairs that overlooked the neighbourhood and you could also see the water in the distance. A small fridge, microwave and kettle gave us the ability to have snacks at our own convenience. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful.
- Linda B (6/5): Guest house in Hamilton - Edgehill is in a neighborhood close to Hamilton's restaurants, transportation etc... in an area called Pembroke... it is walkable but some of the 15-20 minute walk is without sidewalks on a narrow road and on a hill.. not good in the dark. Also, breakfast was minimal ... just a muffin and coffee.. didn't get to use pool but it looked nice. Staff is friendly and helpful.
- N (8/5): Nice small place - The first night I had a room that was not clean and very noise. But once I let the owner know. She upgraded my room and the new room was really nice.

- Veronica (8/5): Stayed one night - We informed the owner via email of our flight arrival time as she let us know staff only work until 2pm on weekends and we'd have to arrange for a late check-in. We arrived at 3pm to a post-it note on the door to call staff when we arrive to check-in. This would not have been a problem except I don't have a roaming cell plan and was charged $4 for that international call, and we would have been stuck if we didn't have a cell phone with us. The pool was nice and the room was very clean. Breakfast was pastries, cereal, juice and coffee in the quaint eating area. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe and you can walk to downtown Hamilton in abiut 10 minutes.
