- DayTrip39976410078 (2/5): REALLY BAD PLACE,DIRTY,BUGS,GUY AT THE WINDOW TRIED RIPPING ME OFF. - First the guy behind the window the Clerk tried ripping me off of a hundred dollar bill telling its fake,takes his maker and it didn't change color but its fake and he has to keep it..So i said i don't believe it is and im not leaving without it !!! call the cops witch he didn't want to do,so he rights fake on both sides of it and gives it back..I give him a newer bill..get up too the room and i'm tired and alittle po.d..and later on that night go to sleep and wake to bugs crawling around thats it im outta HERE..wow never again...BEWARE By the way went to the bank the bill was good..

Please look into getting a reliable insurance company and you can't go wrong, Promise! There was a flood in Lafayette, LA and they helped me immediately 🙌🏽
- Verified traveler (6/5): Mediocre and below - The room was dated but clean. Bed was comfortable. I used the rest room in the middle of the night and thought I saw a bug that I thought was a roach in the bathroom but no, it was a nice size bed bug. Made me paranoid the rest of the night. Breakfast was basic which was fine. It was in the lobby area and there was lots of junk in the corner (old hotel phones stacked up, miscellaneous odds and end junk stacked in the corner, rest room out of order, etc). My husband notice there were flies in the dead of winter in the lobby. Flies don't survive in the winter unless they have something to live off of.
- FloridaSoftball (2/5): looking for a third world nasty scary place to stay, this is it! Filthy room. - This place has to be the nastiest,dirtiest place I have ever stopped at. Outside halls stunk like urine, bathroom was filthy but I was so tired I just figured I would just sleep and leave in the morning. Then I checked the bed. Omg! I don't think they ever washed the mattress pad. It was so badly stained and I freaked. I could no way sleep in that bed! Then looking around the room it looked like someone urinated on the couch and the carpet. Furniture was so worn I don;t think that if they put it at the road that anyone would pick it up. The place was so gross I went down and got a refund and left. Actually they just voided the sale. I was literally shaking when I left this place. I was there August 11,2018 I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I did call the Indiana Health department about this place. The said they do not do annual inspections like some states but do inspect when someone calls to complain about a motel. Hopefully they did.

- Zaiga (6/5): Worthwhile - Room was fine if you are staying for a night. Wouldn’t plan a family vacation here. Had an issue with the air conditioner and the staff fixed it right away. Very impressed with that.

- bmann1970 (2/5): If you like soggy cigarette butts... - Soggy cigarette butts in a cup, somebody's socks that aint mine. Trash under the beds and hookers in a room next to mine. No thanks. Never have I been to a more nasty place. I'm lucky that I didnt come out of that hole with bed bugs. Dont go here. Put them out of business! The BBB needs to be notified.

We made reservations on line and then called to make sure they had everything we wanted, they told us yes and when we got there they didn't have what we needed. The rooms were nasty with hair in the tubs, paper on the floors in the bathrooms and blood on the pillow cases. It had to b a bad hotel do to seeing cops patrolling the parking lot

One thing that did seem odd but understood if you did get the housekeepers attention for clean towels they had to wait for you to bring them your dirty ones and they only could give you the same amount you gave them. If you stayed there for four days the housekeepers didn't knock to see if you needed anything. I do get people take things but there is a limit to certain things. The housekeepers were nice don't get me wrong but clothing sometimes were very inappropriate for the public. So its wasn't the worst but far from the best

- jamesoP6259TO (4/5): OK, if you need a place to stay - The TV and Internet were fine, as were the bed and a/c - important items. But otherwise, this was a tired, ill-kept place. From a chirping fire detector to a running toilet to plastic flowers and minimal breakfast. But it was the cheapest alternative around.
- joboo1966 (2/5): God Awefull!! - I'm not sure where to start. We checked in and the clerk was rude. Dot heads so go figure. There were employees sleeping or sitting in the hallways on their fines. The door looked like it had been kicked in on more than one occasion. The decor was from the mid 1960's. The couch in the room had cum stains all over it....seriously you could start your own family in a petree dish from the couch alone. The floors were terribly stained as well. The place was so bad we wrapped the bed in a mattress condom, I letter discovered bed bugs.there were roaches everywhere. The room was non smoking but smelled like cigs, there were burn stains in the bath tub. The balcony learned so bad I thought it was fiall in. We stayed three days. Asked for a wake up call and never got it. The day of check out experience was terrible. Keep in mind the following. Check in is 230 pm. We were told if we needed another day to simply call the desk the day of checkout. Checkout is 11am so we had decided to not stay. At 1101 am a very rude crackhead looking maid starts pounding on the dot. We were almost done packing and they're shouting at us through the dot that the room is rented and the customer was waiting in the lobby. She went so far as to lie and say that they're sold it and no rooms were available but just the night before there were only 6 rooms booked. The lot was near empty.and the next day was dead I counted three cars. As we finished packing the tone rings. The lies continue. The. Dot head manager asks me if I need the room another day. I said no and he slammed the phone down. The maid staff camped out side our room door talking about us until we left. I checked the lobby and no one was waiting for the room..we left and ten minutes later I called the Hotel....I told them I had a huge group and needed 7 rooms. He replied not a problem. He even commented that he had more rooms if we didn't want to double up at all. This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Bugs. Missing bulbs, burns, broken showers drug dealers and homeless people, enough foreign DNA to start your own cloning company, and thr lying rude staff . I think I've covered. Everything, if you have a car sleep in it, a roadside rest area, the bathroom at a speedway gas station, or even on the street itself would be a better decision than this dump. Run away as fast as you can from this dump....they should be paying you to stay at a motel 6 before they take a dime from you. Absolutely disgusting g and horrific! Never go here.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Last resort kinda place - Room was not clean. Found candy used q tips on the floor and wrappers. The breakfast they offered was cereal and today but we did get the coffee. There is a restaurant next door. We choose to skip the shower rather than use the tub. The air/heat knobs were so old and used we had no idea what setting they were on.Reminded me of the rooms we use to rent to party in as teenagers. I was happy we were only looking for a place to sleep for a few before continuing our long trip home.

- xXHyenaXx (4/5): Does the job, but needs work and TLC. - The Allstate Inn located in historic Seymour Indiana (Home to John Couger Mellancamp) is a two star establishment independently owned and operated, right off of I-65 and right next to a Waffle House. It is also not located far from Wal-Mart and a couple of other decent restaurants and gas stations in the area. My stay, was in their "Honeymoon Suite" for the price of $100 dollars (Aprox). Checking in was a good experience. The woman at the front desk was very friendly, up beat, and treated us as if we were her only customers. The room itself was a mixed bag, unfortunately. The room seemed pretty beaten up, stains and scuff marks on the wall, crooked or lose light fixtures, the plumbing dripped even if their respective faucets were turned off. The sink was covered in various nail polish stains and cigarette burns, though the room is no longer smoking. The Jacuzzi spa worked well, though one of the dim-able lights over it was burned out or not working, the room has a mini fridge and microwave, but unlike other hotels in this category does not have an in room coffee maker. Also, metal fittings by sink and in bathroom are rusted and in need of repair. The good thing this room has to offer is of course the working jacuzzi tub that comfortably seats two people with ocelating jets on your lower back, flat screen HD TV, and a cushy soft king bed that guarantees a good night's sleep. If you cant afford a jacuzzi room for the normal 140-180 dollar asking price, and can look past the general disrepair, then this is the room for you. Otherwise, you may want to check out the other hotels within walking range.
- Greg (4/5): You get what you pay for - Sink did not drain properly, cigarette burn holes in linen. Adequately clean. Old furniture in hallways. Not much of a breakfast offering (fruit loops and Tang) Definitely needs a makeover if it ever wants to get to the next level. Nice polite owners.
- Trish71967 (4/5): A Nights Stay - Room was clean. Quiet. I'm an early bird. Nothing to do until my SO woke up. Not much of a breakfast. Stopped at the store and got something a little more filling. He didn't sleep very well because there was no outlets along the wall for his machine. Even though there was no merit for it, I just didn't "feel" safe. Couldn't get out of there fast enough for me. Only stayed one night.

- candyl_12 (2/5): Bugs - I woke up first night cuz a roach was crawling under my shirt on my back. Next morning found another crawling on the window, brought 2 front desk and owner looked confused. Both I and boyfriend had some kind of bites on our ankles when we got home. Otherwise cheapest motel in town and room seemed clean.

- C6154NMjamest (2/5): Manager gives guest information to dope dealers - The property was previously private, but recently the motel manager has been giving copies of the motel registration forms to the dope dealers who hang around the Waffle House that is next to the motel. The personal information of the guests is distributed to the dope dealers who then walk in front of the windows of the rooms and hold up cardboard signs with personal information of the guests such as the home address, birth date, and the driver license number of the motel guest. The motel is reasonably clean but needs to be remodeled because the bathtubs are coated with a veneer that is peeling off and the chest of drawers are falling apart because the handles to the drawers are easily pulled off. The loss of personal information is the problem and should prompt the guests to avoid this hotel because their personal safety will be jeopardized. The snack vending machines do not work, but the desk clerk has snacks that are for sale behind the desk such as candy bars and bags of potato chips. I was frightened when my personal information was being displayed by a stranger who was walking outside the window to my room. I was terrified because of identity theft and immediately changed my credit card number before leaving the motel in the morning. Someone scraped the paint on my car, which was done sometime during the night because I left the next day after a stranger walked by the room window while also holding up a cardboard sign that was displaying my driver license number. The waitress at the Waffle House restaurant told me that the manager was giving out copies of the personal information of the guests.
- G6316HOmikew (2/5): Dirty Motel, do NOT stay here - I rented two different rooms on two different dates. The first stay was at room #109 and during initial inspection of the room we found the shower/tub to be dirty and there were no towels. The manager acted like he didn't believe me. After he went and verified that I was right, he only provided one set of towels. The shower/tub was dirty looking. There was a wet spot on the bed. The worst part is that we saw roaches in the room. After bringing all of this to the attention of the manager, and asking for a refund or a clean room, he wouldn't do either one. A second stay at this location in room #119, we found roaches in it as well.
- katherine62549 (2/5): Horrible - should be - stars - dirty hotel...furniture stacked all over hallways...black ring in toilet and dirt around tub moulding. The balcony walk way to our room felt like we were going to fall through. There was a new toilet in a box next to the breakfast table as well as an exercise bike. When I complained of the dirty bathroom they told me it was stained from not being used. I booked on Hotwire and was told it was a 2 star hotel.....I would rate it - 2stars. Hotwire was not helpful in getting us a new place to stay either...will not use them again either.
- anonymous0204 (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE!!! - my husband and I have been staying here for two days now. When we arrived I put an outfit in the dresser for my husband for the next day and I charged my phone. The next day we had to do errands and I left the charger and all our belongings in the room. When we returned i realized my phone charger was gone. My husband went down to talk to front desk and they said that they trust their employees and that they didn't do it. I then decided to check through all our belongings and discovered part of my husband's outfit was missing. This time when my husband talked to the front desk they admitted that they gave someone else our room by mistake while we were out. They only refunded the money we paid for the next 2 days and told us we have to wait for management to get back from vacation, which is a month away, before we can either get money to replace our belongings or if we are out of luck of getting our belongings back.
- F942JObrianb (4/5): get what you pay for - Room was disgusting...I found no bed bugs but after you flush the toilet there would be water on floor in bathroom.Shower had not been cleaned. There was lots of hair in the shower...YUCK!! Sink area was filthy. Sheets did seem clean and small flat screen tv was ok. But I wouldn't recommend staying here again.

Breakfast a bit skimpy but for 40 bucks that's OK . overall the room was nice easy check in and no buggs. So if you must want a basic room that is clean this hotel will do the job. If you want room service and a big bill go to the holiday inn express.
- Splewka (2/5): Just yuck - Just looked dirty, felt dirty. Tub handle was broken. If you just need sleep and a cheap bed then this is fine. I am a very frugal person and always looking for a deal but I would have spent a little more to stay somewhere else and if the $34 rate posted on the sign outside would have been true for me then ok but I reserved online and paid about $54. On a good note the owners were really really nice. They badly need to renovate though.

- Bkisbest96 (2/5): This hotel is the dirtiest I've ever stayed in. - When we first got in our room it didn't seem that bad . But than we noticed there's chip crumbs all over the floor , we haven't eaten any chips the refrigerator has food all over the outside the microwave is filthy. I went to take a shower and noticed there was a bar of soap & tons of hair in the tub. & the sink is also dirty there's hairs everywhere. They did not clean after the last person at all. My recommendation; do not stay here.
- reneein2art (2/5): It's a dump, but it's a great deal - They look like there trying to update the rooms; outside halls and grounds dirty, dirty, dirty. Yet the sheets were clean and the wall were cleans. Now the windows, mirrors were grouse. Yet what do you really think your going to get for 40 buck? This is basically just a place to crash for the night, but not for the timid person. Some of there guest look a little scary. Yet we did survive.
