• Linda (5/5): - The Motel was okay for what we needed for, in this location not much choice for Motel, there were BNB but my hubby does not like staying in them. The bedding and towels were clean. It was overpriced. I know it is the only Motel in the area but I found it overpriced for the room. The Bed was hard, the furniture and drapes and bed spread were from the Seventies. For the price you pay I thought it would be a lot nicer. Normally I post pictures of where we stay but I was not impressed to post anything.

• Christina (9/5): Had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay there again - The room was a good size, clean, and the staff was very helpful and friendly The only issue, (and it didn't really bother us) but it was right on the main rd.

• Madeline (10/5): A comfy place to stay for a night in Mount Forest - the property was really close to downtown, it was clean and the room was very comfortable. We were attending a wedding and so we needed lots of space to get ready and this room had more than we expected. It even had two mirrors so that two people could get ready at once. It was very hot out but the AC worked really well which was amazing. The staff was really nice as well and made sure we had an excellent stay. Overall very impressed with this place, would definitely recommend. Honestly nothing, it was great!

• Mike (8/5): Older property but responsive owner/staff. - Staff and owner were helpful. While the motel is old, the rooms are clean and the property well decorated. I had a challenge with the air conditioner which they immediately fixed. I had also left my battery charger in the room after I left. They found it immediately and kept it until it was picked up a couple of days later. The shower in my suite needed adjusting and room not updated for cell phones, electronics outlets etc.

• Krystle (5/5): Our stay was comfortable and we slept very well. - Staff was super friendly and helpful, room was clean Tv was hazy and had a line through the screen, room wasn’t prepped for guests the way I had hoped the fridge wasn’t turned on and the a/c didn’t work
• Tricia (6/5): - The rooms up the hill (118) although dated had comfy beds and all necessities, limited channels (no NHL). Room 103 smelled really bad like old smoke, the shower was gross and the bed sheets had what looked like a blood stain. When we called housekeeping (owner) they proceeded to blame us and were very very rude and not apologetic. The hotel appears to rent room by the week/month as there was some very sketchy ppl. The local restaurant also advised not to go out late at night as the town has a drug problem. Rooms were way overpriced.

• James (6/5): It was fair, I expected most of what I got. The hvac system could be better. - In the town centre, some local food shops nearby. Walls were thin. There was no breakfast.

• Allan (4/5): Avoid this place. - Location was good. Room had adequate space and comfort. Bathroom was dirty. Human hair on bathtub, stains on walls and floor showed clear signs of a lack of adequate cleaning. High rate charged for such a room was excessive. We would never stay here again.

• David (5/5): Will never go back. - No breakfast provided. It was quiet. New toilet. Old a/c unit mounted on wall. We did not dare use it. The baseboard heater in the bathroom is rusted out and looks terrible. I would be surprised if it worked. The grounds were dirty. Like a lot of hotels it just takes the staff to actually care about the place.

• Rene (1/5): A terrible motel and horrible expereince. Will never stay there again. - Not very clean. Smelled like old tobacco although it was a no-smoking room. Very few electrical outlets, extension cords and power bars but the power bars could only be accessed by moving furniture. Had to get a hair dryer from the owner/manager. My partner like to have a bath at the end of a travel day but refused to lay in the tub and showered instead.

• Tara (7/5): quick and easy book in - close to our party that we attended. the tv did not work the whole time we were there! we got in room at 630 pm was gone by 730 then back at 1230. didn’t want to bother the help desk at that time of night so just left it.

• Michael (9/5): As I said, 5th time there and I'll certainly book it again the next time I'm staying in the area. - This is likely the 5th time I've stayed there for business in the area. It's a very basic hotel but well kept and clean. It's close to several restaurants and even with some traffic the room was fairly quiet. I couldn't find a themostat to control the heat - the temperature was fine but it would have been nice to have the choice to make it warmer/cooler

• Bruce (6/5): - King bed was uncomfortable. Staff tried to over charge despite having booked online. I booked the wrong day however manager was not accommodating with changing the date. Overall I would not say the accommodations were worth the money they charge. There was only a small bottle of shampoo and two small soaps, not worth the money. However I will say that the room, sheets and towels was very clean.
• Sabrina (8/5): Pleasantly Surprised - We were in town for a wedding and the motel was recommended by the bride and groom. It was was very quaint, charming and well maintained. We were surprised how spacious the room was, very clean with everything you needed (Towels, Cups, Fridge, Microwave, Coffee Machine, etc). It was a great location in town and the check in time of 1pm was extremely convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our stay was very comfortable we would come back again if we had something else going on in the area.

The room I booked wasn’t available so we were given a better room with a king size bed which was actually cheaper and we guilt some money back 😊 Very friendly, accommodating people! Beds were comfortable except I get hip pain and could have used a soft bed topper.
