Descanse, pero algo pasaba con el aire acondicionado con el piso de arriba creo se había salido la manguerita y la caída de agua era en el aire donde estaba hospedada y fue poco incomodo pero el cansancio dormí muy bien. La caída de agua del A/C del piso anterior justo el ruido en el aire donde estaba hospedada, era tarde e imposible aquel hora arreglarlo.

• Guaigua (10/5): El lugar perfecto para hospedarte en tus vacaciones. - La habitación muy acogedora, tenía un balcón y súper bonito, la cama súper cómoda. Con respecto a la ubicación, debo decir que está en un lugar muy tranquilo y cerca del Malecón, fuimos a caminar en la noche, como les dije muy tranquilo el lugar.

Pedi una habitación con vista al parque y me confirmaron que me la darían, pero llegamos y nos tocó en otra con vista al edificio de correos, sin embargo estaba bonita y agradable.

Staff is friendly and helpful, answering all questions and being supportive. The building is in very bad shape, dank, poor lighting, cockroaches The rooms are very small and not well kept, the floors are dirty, plugs hanging from walls, toilet seat loose If they could improve the hygiene of the rooms I would consider returning, as it is very affordable.

• Lucian (8/5): You get what you pay for - It's a two star hotel but in an excellent location. Anything in that location is significantly more expensive than Rizzo. However, your expectations shouldn't be high. You get decent security, generously-sized room, running hot water and cleanliness. But that's about it. No laundry service, the restaurant is very basic, the furniture and most amenities are really old (especially the elevator), the internet is slow and the windows don't exactly close properly. The showers are really generous which I highly appreciated. Even so, at this price and this location, it's excellent value. Right next to the Seminary Park and within walking distance from everything important or useful in Guayaquil. Ecuador is going through an energy crisis. This hotel does not have a generator so the blackouts are for real. And because the windows don't exactly close properly, the noise from the generators of the buildings around it can be pretty unbearable. The staff doesn't speak a single word of English. So brush up your Spanish or have Google Translate ready.

The elevator worked, the water was hot, Wi-Fi signal was normal. Good size room. The hotel is old, all the equipment is very worn out. The refrigerator is very old and its door does not close well. On the last day in the evening and at night there was no power in the hotel, the refrigerator defrosted and water from the refrigerator spilled on the floor.

• Danielle (2/5): Horrible. Noisy, Smelly, Dirty and NOISY. Full of roaches. - Apart from friendly staff The only good thing about the hotel was the location. The hotel was Old, Outdated and Dirty. I saw multiple roaches during my stay. But that wasn’t even the worst part. The worst part is that the hotel is next to 2 main streets that are extremely busy at all times and have these windows that cannot be closed. There was so much noise coming into the room that sleeping was impossible. Honestly I felt disrespected and ripped off. I paid for a hotel so I could sleep and rest and ended up sleep deprived. My ears can still hear the constant honking of the cars, the motorcycle engines and the garbage truck passing next to the hotel. I even thought that maybe it was just that room and asked to be changed but no, they are all like that. Not to mention that in the first room they put me in the air conditioning didn’t even work. There was also an intense smell of cigarettes and mold that lingered throughout the hotel. They also charged me more upon arrival than what was agreed online. The Wifi didn’t work properly either. I do not recommend this hotel and won’t be visiting again.

• Vesterlund (8/5): Affordable centrally located hotel - The location couldn’t be better if you want to visit the iguana park(literally next door, one minute walk)and The Malecon boardwalk. The staff was friendly, good size room, clean, comfortable bed, many tv channels and it was extremely appreciated to have a 1 pm check out time. Then only reason that I don’t give higher scores is because it’s a bit run down and old

Bed and pillow were full of hair at the arrival. I had to kill a cockroach next to my bed. Appearance of the room/bathroom is old and filthy.
