- James (10/5): - OK. I don't typically write effusive reviews...or write many online ratings. When I do, it's because the service or product is exceptional (and in rare cases, abysmal). I was born and lived in the "Hamptons" as a boy and a teenager. I returned to show my family where I grew up. I last visited the area 35 years ago in this rare and beautiful place on the South Fork of Long Island. A flood of boyhood memories were augmented and complemented by the Hampton's Vacation Inn. Dayan made everything easy and seamless because she was personally responsive. The easily accessible and convenient property and cottages provide a quiet pastoral environment within the activity that is "The Hamptons" with Stop & Shop literally across Montauk Highway (though we couldn't tell the 2-lane "highway" was just yards away) and Classic Beverage adjacent. Multiple dining and shopping options are readily available and within easy walking distance. We recommend Dero's supervised by Air Force veteran Paul who is the patriarch of the family restaurant business. Our 2 BR quiet cottage was clean, comfy, cozy, welcoming and well-equipped. Hampton's Vacation Inn quietly demands that you power down, relax and enjoy this magical place.

It’s a Fantastic getaway and Family and pet friendly! Immaculate, they have thought of everything and have everything you need! From beautiful soap in the bathroom, hammock, bbq pit, huge picnic table, they thought of everything you might need in kitchen and towels, blankets and books to read! Just a lovely place and worth the price although it was very affordable! We had a 3 bedroom cottage and could have stayed longer! Awesome at every level! They even have a pool and tennis courts! ❤️

Only issue was the tennis court was not available for our stay. The TV didn't work (and access was buggy, but that's a lot of hotels these days) but, consequently I couldn't watch a single football game (there in Oct.) for the entire weekend. and there was no one there to fix it, just occasional texts saying they were "working on it". When I tried to get a receipt, their printer didn't work. Tried to ask for ice, towels, etc. - but there was NO one to ask? Weird. But clean and not a bad hotel, just no staff.

- Kelly (10/5): - We had the 2 bdrm cottage. This was a pleasant surprise to find so close to our house when we had guest come out for a visit. The price was great, the pool clean and refreshing.
- Anne (4/5): - It is difficult to find a hotel in the Hamptons for a price that is not exorbitant, so for that reason, it is a good option. Important though: the hotel does not provide housekeeping except for between guests, so if you are there for more than a day or two, you will have to deal with disposing of your own garbage. - Jessica (10/5): Relaxing weekend getaway - We had a wonderful time staying in one of the cottages at Bowen's by the Bays! We were able to arrange for a late, contactless check in and enjoyed the modern ammentities - air conditioning, a full kitchen, a flatscreen TV, and a lovely netted front porch lounge area. This was the perfect spot to relax and reset.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Bad neighbors and noisy train tracks. - Place was clean and modern. Exceeded my expectations. Only thing that sucked was the neighbors and got stuck with a room that faced the train tracks. Got in late past 1 AM, because of work, but front desk person was awesome and gave me instructions on how to access my room, after hours. She was always great every time I called and very pleasant. It was past 2am and I needed to be up at 6:30am for work related training nearby. I was surprised to hear the next door guests stumbling in past 2am, loud as hell, and sounded like a drunk ruckus was going on (prostitutes?), Had to shove some earplugs to block out some of the noise. Plus you can hear the train roar past every 30mins to 1hr. My room faced the train tracks. Again, don't blame the property. Just some of the guests are bleh. wish there was a way to filter them or not turn it into a railroad side "Leisure Suit Larry kind of motel".

- Todd (10/5): Friend reunion trip - Nice small quiet place except of the train tracks close by. Nice clean hidden motel/ cottages that many locals didn’t even know was there. Would gladly stay again only complaint the sign out front was changed making it slightly hard to find entrance

- vincent (8/5): - Booked this stay last minute. Pulled into the property and felt like i just arrived at a campsite in the country. Quite, peaceful. Trees all around. Although we booked it 30 minutes earlier, they had a cabin ready to go. Such a relaxing place. Look forward to returning.
- Nicole (10/5): - We loved our first trip to the Hamptons and most of it is thanks to the Bowens by the Bays. The property was nice, quiet, and the staff were friendly. The only downfall was the TV and most lights didn’t work, but overall very cute and accommodating place. We will definitely be returning!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Almost 5 stars - Excellent! Only negative was the blinds let all the sun in. They are white! Was up at the crack of dawn! Barely slept! Other than that 4 stars.
- IVY (4/5): - The property is outdated and lack of maintenance. My kids are scared to stay in the cottage. My husband left a shirt in the closet but the front desk never responded my text whether he/she found the shirt.

- Karen (6/5): Clean updated room..but so disappointed - Was very disappointed that the Cable tv was down..air conditioner would not drop below 74 degrees and the walls are paper thin..no room service the whole time there..Fresh towels and trash taken out would have been nice...I stayed 3 days/2 nights..No TV could not cancel stay or would lose money.

- Sue (8/5): - 15 to 20 minute walk from the LIRR. In a hidden section off of Montauk Highway. You could barely make out any traffic noise. The LIRR train ran behind the property. But the train only ran 2 to 3 times/day, so not. big deal. There was ongoing construction/upgrades going on during our stay. Mgt. moved us when a cancellation occurred. Could see the bay but it was not walkable.
