The bed was hard, the lobby looked dead, the shower curtain had mildew on it, the tub was nasty, the covers was so thin and ugly. they looked like curtains on the bed. One bed cover was faded. The sheet also had stains on them. The towels was very thin. U had to hold the top of the remote to turn the tv. I was so uncomfortable the one night stay. I really should have gotten my money back & drove to Monroe Louisiana. I will never go back. The photos will fool u. It look better on pictures then in person There was nothing to like

Misty (3/5): - Nothing The room was nothing like the pictures as soon as we walked in we felt like we needed to wash our hands the bed was as hard as a rock and when we called booking about the room and let them know we didn't want to stay there they called the front desk and talked to the guy at the front desk and then booking got back on the phone with me and told me that I could take pictures and send to them I was setting outside in my vehicle and by the time I got out and went back in to take pictures he had locked me out of my room and I still had the key I would not ever stay there ?.

Shauna (1/5): We just needed a place to crash for one night. If it hadn’t been so late, I would’ve gone elsewhere. Staff is very frien - Staff was very friendly. This is an old hotel and desperately needs deep cleaning and renovation. The second floor smells like mildew and it was clear the carpet had not been vacuumed in a while. We didn’t even have a shower curtain in our bathroom.

emilyn705 (4/5): - I booked the stay thru Priceline. I’ve not had any problems with Priceline but checking in at the hotel was terrible. My mother arrived earlier than me and attempted to just check in with the confirmation that I received from Priceline. They had no record of my reservation and were terrible to deal with. It took a 40 minute phone call from me to Priceline to work it all out. My mother is elderly and they were not helpful to her at all. They were very dismissive and acted like they could care less. And I add the room was already paid thru Priceline. The room was on 2nd floor and no elevator. It was nasty carpet(cigarette burns and sticky) and bedding was questionable. I know it was only the 2 of us but I’ve never stayed anywhere that only had 2 towels. It was bare minimum. When I approached front desk to request 2 more towels, the lady promptly informed me that that was because there was only 2 people on the reservation and that’s all housekeeping was allowed to leave. Heaven forbid we wash our hair and may need and extra towel!! I then asked could I at least have 1 more and she said let me check and see what she could find. I’ve never had such a hard time getting a towel at a hotel! I’ve stayed from MS all across the country and this was the worst ever. And I’m not a diva picky person. We are very minimal and have sense enough to know what to expect typically. I had to go back to desk the 2nd morning and get 2 more towels because housekeeping only left 2 once again. Even after they picked up the 3 from day before. The ladies at desk the next day were very accommodating and apologized and actually acted like my business was appreciated. So kudos to those sweet ladies. I hope y’all move on to another facility that values your work and hospitality ethic! I do not recommend this place at all and I’ve never reviewed anywhere but it needs to be known this place stinks.

Nowhere on my booking did I see anything about a smoking room, but the dust said I booked the smoking room and there was no non-smoking rooms available. They tried to make it right the next day, but by then it was too late so in the future, could you put in bold letters, whether the room is smoking or non-smoking.

Trek36955160824 (2/5): Dirty & Nasty Hotel just like the front desk workers attitude Nasty and Rude - I would have given the hotel zero stars if I could. We arrive to the hotel today and the first error we were charged for the same room twice one online and through the hotel. I call to get a refund from the online company who I did not give permission to used my card. Secondly I had an issue with the door not opening with key. After we got in the room the room was nasty and dirty. The refrigerator door fell off someone came to the room and put it back on but it’s still not on properly. I went to ask for a different room the clerk told us no other room is available and for us to get out. We are from Michigan and made reservations months ago and we stayed here several times before and had no issues. I feel so disrespected and hurt that this man name Dipalee kicked us out the hotel and yell at my 78 year old mother. For wanting a clean room. I want someone to call and speak to me regarding our treatment. I have pictures of the conditions in the room. The sheets had stains and hair on them and we only walked in the room we was only there for less than 1hour.

We had some people above us that was making so much noise, I had to call the front desk to contact them and tell them them that they were noisy The tub in the bathroom was not very clean, my wife did mind sanitizing the the tub and shower before use.

121056lala (4/5): Please Give this place a DEEP CLEAN! Please. - This hotel looks decent from the outside. The front desk attendant was friendly and professional. However, the bottom line is that this hotel needs a thorough deep, deep cleaning. From the filthy carpeted floors to the dirty tile floors, to the dirty walls, to the dirty sinks and toilets, and dusty tubs, this place needs a deep cleaning. It not only needs painting, but did I say a thorough cleaning, and it needs to be scrubbed? The carpet needs to be steam-cleaned, as well as the furniture wiped down and sanitized. My family has considered several family reunions over the years in Bastrop, but no one wants to stay at the hotels in Bastrop. We always end up staying in Monroe, when our family is from Bastrop and we want to have activities in Bastrop. You are certainly missing out on money that could be spent in Bastrop.The good I saw is that I did NOT encounter bed bugs. I am so very grateful for that. However, I will not be staying there ever again. I simply cannot do it. Please clean it up. Please.

Verified traveler (2/5): Horrible experience - The room was dirty. The carpet stuck to my shoes. The bed felt like I was sleeping on box springs. During the night someone tried to beat in the door of the room next door. Scary.

It was a big event going on and had no way to book another place to stay and afford to let them keep my money. Beds where like laying on box springs super hard. My tub had mold and mildew in it. Luckily I rented 2 rooms. And the shower was ok. I had to go buy my own towels cause they freaking had none. Toilets clogged after every second use and no one would come help they just sent a plunger. Carpet was so disgusting I went and bought slides and disposable socks so the kids wouldn’t touch it. Complained about a party or dancing or a club going on up stairs I thought the roof was gonna cave in. Party until 6am. Smelled like an all the toilets were backed up on the first floor. This place deserves no stars it needs to have the health inspectors and osha come in and shut them down. Clearly a sign says no pets or smoking. DESK CLERK TOLD ME if we smoke they will charge me. While I walk out she rents to a young lady who smells like a pond of marijuana and another lady letting her dog run down the hall and runs right into our room. Where my grand kids were allergic. The door was coming apart Kept getting locked out d to the door lock wouldn’t read the card. I spent the whole weekend in tears and fear and no sleep. I was so disgusted I only got 1 photo. And on top of that we confirmed our trip and was supposed to pay at check in they tried to run our card prior to visit. Building
Brandi (10/5): Recommend to everyone who stays over in Bastrop, LA. The owners are very helpful, friendly, and professional. One of my - The staff here is always amazing. Their accommodations are kept in a superbly cleaned fashion. Always so helpful and friendly. They go the extra mile with the breakfast bar they provide every morning full of our warm favorites and healthy options.

James (4/5): Old, and nasty - Filthy. This room was not cleaned prior to my stay. Half empty bottle of tea in the refrigerator and an empty tea bottle between the bed and nightstand. Hair in the bathroom and sheets. Just overall nasty and worn out. Not kept up over time.

Chad (6/5): - Checked late afternoon and thought the facility would be fine. A couple hours later and the hallway was filled with the smell of marijuana. The smell seeped into my room and from that point on I could sleep and I was mad. Why waste the ink by having me say I won’t smoke in the room when apparently multiple people are and no one is going to do anything about it. I should have gone down and demanded a refund but I was too tired. I am getting madder the more I write and want to go back and give one star. Do better!

Vera (4/5): Disappointing - Room was great size Furniture had gobs of oil on it, mirrors were dirty, bathroom floor was dirty had so kind of oil on it . Room smelled like it had mild dew, just a nasty smell, had food in the fridge from the previous guest, and fridge leaked water all over the floor.

Bryan (1/5): My stay was not pleasant when I checked into the room. I noticed that my room wasn’t clean at all. The shower still had - The area was clean on the outside It smell like smoke on the second floor

Davis (1/5): Bad - The rooms were very filthy and smelly. There is mold on the ceiling walls bathtub. I definitely will not be staying here again,I'd rather drive the extra miles for something a lot cleaner. There was also someone else's pubic hair in the shower and on the toilet

miranda (2/5): - Checked in late with a reservation. The room was disgusting. The bathroom had hair all over the toilet and floors. The toilet was dirty. The shower looked terrible. The door handles on the bathroom were falling off. The bedside table was filthy and there was an onion peel on the floor. Insane to me. I had to ask for towels from the front desk and she said “I don’t know what these house keepers did today” WILL NEVER GO BACK. Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Giving it one star was generous

Stanley (2/5): - This property was terrible. The desk receptionist had a nasty disposition he was very rude! I asked him for two clean face towels he told me to bring the dirty face towels and he'll wash them and give them back to me! I have never stayed in a hotel or motel where I had to bring dirty face towels to the desk in order to get too clean ones. The TV volume went out a day before ceck out. We had to sit in our room without any volume on TV. He did nothing about that. The bathroom was very filthy. They didn't even wash the toilet bowl, the faucet, bathtub, coffee maker.the desk and the telephone! The linen had cigarette holes in them. The bed was uncomfortable and the carpets was dirty and stinky. We switched from room 115 because it was stinky to 206 and it was a little better. We only stay because it was close to a family members funeral. We will tell everyone never to stay at this hotel.
Mark (3/5): This was not a good stay. - It was close to the events that I traveled there for They did not clean the bathroom not one single day while I was there. I left things to see if they would pick up and clean it. Of course they didn’t. My wife even saw traces of them not cleaning the bathrooms. The made was not made up the first 4 days . However the room attendant for the next 4 days did make the bed.
Jeronda (6/5): Just not too clean. - Near every thing My room was not clean bathroom still have urine around and on the toilet tub and sink was dirty and floor still had eye lashes and hair on it. Found old trash under the bed skirt of one of the bed.

Steffany (2/5): Horrible carpet odor mildew or mold and room smell and dirty tub. - Convenient location located near stores and restaurants Carpet smells mildew. I had to buy cleaning supplies to clean bathroom. Sprayed Lysol on bed linens due to room odor and we all kept sneezing. Mold was in the air.
Tyre (9/5): Mr. BMW BOSS - The pillow in the room was small. The Ice machine was not working the next morning.
Verified traveler (2/5): Drive to Monroe Instead! - Don't do it! There are much cheaper and cleaner hotels in Monroe. The door handle broke to the bathroom, the water pressure for flushing the toilet was low; the a/c was leaking water and overall it just felt dirty and dank. I could only stay 1 of 2 nights before going to the Marriott. There are Red Roof Inns and other options on 165 that are better for a lower price.
