Sophia (6/5): - I normally don’t give bad reviews however I’ve gotta say that we stayed there for convenience it’s close to my Mom’s home. We asked to check in early 1 hour and they couldn’t accommodate okay no problem there are rules we have to follow. I called 3 weeks in advance and was told that we had to go to 2nd floor we proceed to put all of our luggage on the cart to get on an elevator now the attendant watched us load our things and when we got in we asked where the elevator was and he was like yeah I saw you loading your things and we don’t have a elevator. We went to our room and ordered something to eat and when we were leaving the door wouldn’t lock so we had to run downstairs the door couldn’t be fixed so we had to move then we had to call the place we ordered the food from to tell them we were going to be late. We also moved into a double bedroom with a queen size bed and we had a king. I couldn’t cancel so we had to deal with it. Unless they do some major upgrades it’s a major NO to staying at Best Western
Verified traveler (10/5): Friendly, Welcoming, Customer-Oriented - Although it was an aging hotel, it was clean and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, ready to meet my every need. The front desk staff even took our family reunion picture in the lobby. The full breakfast was hot and good. Nice indoor pool. The only negative was that the safes in the rooms are no longer functioning, but they offered to keep valuables safe for you in the office.

Shower was very large and laid out nicely if you had needed wheelchair access. It was quiet here and our room had everything we needed. Front desk staff was very friendly. The front desk clerk gave an excuse that they were waiting on a part for the last 2 days but the sign stating the pool was closed looked like it had been there for weeks. No discount or apology even when I told him my family only came here Only for the pool and were angry! Would not stay here again because again it was way overpriced without the pool!
Natasha (4/5): Poor - Was very upset to arrive extra early for a softball trip so my kids could swim to find out the pool and hot tub are both broken. Was told it had only been a few days but I believe that isn’t the truth as they told my husband that nobody could fix them and that newer hotels don’t even want to put them in because they are so expensive. There was nothing on the website stating this i checked before and after we left.

tina (2/5): - we were extremely disappointed our grand daughter had a game we could of drove back home but decided we wanted to relax so we chose a seperate hotel than our family 20 minutes farthur it was suppose to have a hot tub which i asked both guys on the phone to make sure and a heated pool and it was neither so we paid to stay for no reason the water was too cold to get in and no hot tub and we didnt know i have a boot on damaged foot and chf he also has breathing issues to get there and no elevator and we have to carry luggage up the stairs so no it was not a good stay

LEE (8/5): Nice hotel with basic amenities. - Only there for one night. Room was good, although it was the first time in a while in a Queen size bed -- we normally use King. Only 3 pillows for the two of us, so one sat in a chair to read while the other lounged on the bed. We did have a family overhead with foot stomps while kids were running back and forth, but otherwise the room was quiet (no major street noise). Quiet residential neighborhood. Amenities were okay, basic but complete. Breakfast was good -- waffles were the best part, and coffee was good, but strong. Would definitely stay there again, if a King bed was available.

The reason for it not being a good stay is because a group of people/family partied in the lobby from at least 11p (that is when voices woke me up) until at least 3:15a (I feel back asleep sometime between 3:30 & 4a). I just don’t understand why the front desk person didn’t ask them to quiet down. And no I did not call the desk. They were in the breakfast area, glad they had a good time….

Susan M (8/5): Drinking water problem. - The drinking water in Fostoria and the hotel was terrible. It had an awful taste. Even the water in the juice fountain had an odd taste. I believe there should be bottled water available for customers - low cost or free-. I could 't take pills with it, or mame tea or coffee. People in town said it was because of the filtering process used in the town. Maybe the EPA should be notified so action can be taken to improve the system.

William (8/5): - Wasn’t bad at all. I would stay there again. Area seemed safe and quiet around the hotel. Room was clean. Be prepared for lack of toiletries though. Luckily I brought my own “extras” from other hotels. Restroom was clean, had hot water, mini fridge made noise intermittently. Breakfast was very lackluster. No meats at all. Either bacon or sausage would have been nice. At some point the hotels should just give up trying to serve one of these cheap o breakfasts. If they are not going to actually serve a breakfast, why even List it. Ended up buying a breakfast in town.
