- Springate-Baginski (8/5): Great value & enjoyable - This was a wonderful place in so many ways. very spacious room, nice bed & furniture, tub bath for a soak, amazing sauna & exercise room. Lovely staff - I loved the charming cleaning ladies especially. Good comprehensive breakfast. Great steak house next door. Nearby shops. Flexible about departure time. great system of electric rental bikes in the city. I cant get used to the US style of massive non-biodegradable single use plastic waste production. To me every breakfast represented an environmental crime scene - big waste bags of plastic and paper waste mixed up together. i dicussed with the Indian manager who was nice although didnt seem motivated to solve it. Wihtouth a car its a little far from the centre- which e-bikes mitigate to some extent

- Trek483543 (2/5): *** Not Dog Friendly *** - The reason for the visit to Ft. Collins was for an assessment and cancer treatment for my dog. My husband and I were traveling with the cancer patient dog, who weighs 70 lbs and our smaller dog, who weighs 22 lbs. We stayed for a total of 3 nights. On day 2, the day manager, who is an older woman of Indian descent, insisted that our room must be cleaned because of the "doggy odor". I suspect the source of the "doggy odor" was the infrastructure piping (perhaps a drain or water line) which was right outside our door behind a small red door at head level. Nonetheless, we complied with the request, which was a great disruption for me since I needed to move my work computer out to the lobby. The worst part of this experience was overhearing her complaining to the desk clerk about how awful the "doggy odor" was. Very unprofessional and I believe it was not factual. I sniffed both of the dog's fur and did not smell anything "doggy". They smelled like their freshly laundered dog blankets. This place is obviously in need of some attention. The carpets are filthy. The rooms are decrepit. The RV park behind the property is rather sketchy. The day manager is frightening. They are NOT dog friendly. Save your money and go to the Comfort Inn a few blocks away. The rooms are less expensive, the breakfast is better and the folks there are quite nice. We were there for 5 nights and no one mentioned anything about a "doggy odor".

The bed was too firm for me; however my man slept like a baby! The continental breakfast was the standard stuff. The high light was the tub! And for the price, extremely cheap! Great hotel and great location!

Definitely worth the extra money to have that to relax at my own pace in private. I also loved that the hotel had an outdoor pool, which was hard to find at other places. The staff was also super friendly, and helped me when I accidentally forgot some jewelry in the room after I checked out. The pool chair I laid out on was a little rocky, but nothing major. The room had this initial old house smell that you smell when you first walk into the room, but once settled into the room I didn't really notice it. Wish the breakfast food had had more seasoning, but overall the selection was good.

The hotel isn’t in a very walkable area but it’s conveniently close to both Old Town and the CSU campus. Compared to nearby hotels it’s a steal.

I asked to see the room before check in and the desk charged me on the spot before I even reached the desk. Expedia and even Best Western corporate tried to reason with the staff and they said no. The issue is now with the executive team at Best Western for mediation. The staff was aggressive and I did not feel safe.
