Lisa (8/5): It was a great weekend getaway in the mountains. Thank you for your hospitality. - We loved that, despite having a dog with us, our room was exceptional. No downgrade noticed (no plastic chairs for example). We loved the cushie dog bed, bowls and treats for our pup... and the people cookies were good too! The weather outside was cold... but the hotel was cozy... so on the balance, I don't think this complaint counts.

Jennifer (5/5): For the price (which I felt was high compared to other properties) maybe there should be a discount rate to stay in this - It was nice, staff was great. It was so loud! We were in room 320 and the elevator and people were so loud. Parking was scarce. We got a spot one day but had to park across the street the next.
Michael (10/5): Nice hotel, but some pet owners can be a nuisance. - The location and price were both very good—especially during high season. Large clean rooms, friendly staff, warm breakfast, easy walk to local amenities, equipment lockers and free ski shuttle made the hotel very convenient. The hotel is marketed as pet-friendly, which can be a nuisance. One particular guest let her dog run unsupervised in the hallway while her room was being cleaned, letting her dog poop on the hall carpet and try to enter into other guests' rooms. When confronted by housekeeping staff and other guests she refused to take control of her dog. There needs to be higher expectations for guests choosing to bring their pets to a hotel.

Amazing front desk agents at the ready for a speedy check-in and much needed rest.. The property is so clean welcoming with all of its Christmas 🎄touches and smiles. Thank you so much!

BR2016Canada (8/5): Nice Hotel along Hwy 3 - Stayed one night here on our southern BC roadtrip. Check-in was painless and we had a 2Q room on the 4th floor. Room was good size and beds and pillows were good. Hotel room was clean and amenities were nice. Shortly after checking in we went for dinner at Bridge Bistro. We had the best meal of our trip so far there, and highly recommend. Only been thru Fernie once in my life, so after dinner we had a little drive around town and it is a really beautiful spot. Amazing mountains to see all around you. We had the free breakfast at the Best Western the next morning and were not impressed. But it was free. I would stay again here at the Best Western if we ever see ourselves in Fernie for a night again.

RandPUk (8/5): Perfectly fine for a couple of days - Convenient just off main highway and 15-20 minutes walk to downtown Fernie, which is interesting with nice shops and cafes and a small interesting museum. Hotel is modern , clean , rooms plenty of space. Staff helpful and welcoming. Small indoor pool available. Boston pizza part of hotel and ok if you’re after a quick meal stop. Guests get a 10% discount I think. Breakfast included and fine though not spectacular. Time they replaced over the bath shower and horrible shower curtain with a walk in. Irritating that no room safe . Perfectly good choice for a short stay if you’re out and about.

Stephanie (8/5): - This was our first time staying at the property. It was well maintained and we enjoyed how spacious the room was. The hot breakfast was an added bonus. While busy, it was well run and seating was available. The beds were very worn, felt like sleeping in a valley. We had to repeatedly ask for more towels, our room had 4 guests but we were only ever provided 3 towels. Not a huge issue but an annoyance. The housekeeping staff was very friendly which we appreciated. The reception staff was less so, quite curt and unfriendly for most interactions which was unfortunate. Overall, a good stay but some room for improvement.

Bathroom had full amenities including comfort height toilet. Tub was high and needed grab bar for getting in and out but pressure was good. Front desk had especially helpful folks.

Sadie280 (8/5): Best Spot in Fernie! - This is the best hotel in Fernie - easily accessed as it is off the main road as you drive into town. Breakfast is included and it is pretty good; they offer a nice variety that does change each day. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. A Boston Pizza is affiliated with the hotel and is attached. There are plenty of amenities within walking distance (groceries, liquor store, Starbucks, etc). I would recommend this hotel!!

There was a call from the reception after few minutes of checking in to make sure everything in the room is in order. The hotel has all the amenities at the right place. This hotel is highly recommended.
