- Meagan (8/5): - Honestly the hotel was fine- nowhere in the description does it state it’s literally backed right up on a train track and I mean it vibrates your room and it’s loud. Woke me up I was so scared till I realized.
- Karl (8/5): - This is a recently renovated property. I found the bed too stiff, but my wife liked it. The shower room vents well enough, but the sliding glass doors tend to open themselves while you are showering. There are no night lights in the bathroom, but I bring my own because that is often the case. The breakfast that morning was a bit limited compared to other such chains, but it was adequate for both of us. So, the place isn't quite worthy of a "5" but I certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

- Wendy (10/5): - Arrived at 1 AM without any issues. I've traveled a lot for business and personal reasons over the years, and this is probably the cleanest hotel room I've ever had! Breakfast was also very good. I only wish there had been actual cream (not prepackaged sweetened stuff--can't eat sugar) and ice available at breakfast. All in all, great stay, though!

Large tv, however it didn't have a channel guide, so I spent forever trying to find something. It did have a really nice tv. Property was very nice and clean. Pool ladder was missing the bottom step and the top step was missing a bolt on one side so it wasn't much use. Could be a safety issue. Tre hotel is near railroad tracks that are fairly busy and it was very noticeable in the room we had. Didn't notice any noise from the hotel though. Nice breakfast area and they had a waffle maker, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage links, cereal, pastries and other items. i would stay there again.

My only few complaints are that our room wasn’t supplied with body wash in the shower, and that the complimentary breakfast seemed lackluster at best. All 3 adults had to shower with hand soap that was by the sink in the bathroom. I really look forward to the luxurious showers with the soaps that only Best Western seems to carry. In regard to the breakfast, there just didn’t seem to be many options for food like the other Best Western’s I’ve visited in the past. The scrambled eggs were really good but the only meat option was sausage links and the butter in the fridge was frozen and couldn’t be used on toast. There was only 2 beverage options and no individual servings for milk which would’ve been great. Overall, I think this hotel was good and I’d come back but I’d definitely hope to see change and have a better experience!
- Stephanie (10/5): - I’ve been to hotels all around the country and this one actually has a smart tv—a smart tv that actually works as it should! I also like how upgraded the place is. It’s really clean and I seen that they had a pool! The bedroom was nice it had an industrial modern look to it.

- Gabriel (2/5): - Room was nice and all but my girlfriend and drove in and got there about 2:15ish am and we waited for a little bit and no one came up to check us in. There was no sign stating the gentleman was away and that he would be back soon. I went around knocking on the employee only doors and went outside and still couldn’t find the guy working. We have been there well over 30 minutes now waiting to be checked in and I’m getting upset because I’m tired and it’s almost 3am and we have to drive 14 hours back home the next day. So we decided to call the phone for the hotel and no one picked up. About 45 minutes in we call Best western support and they try calling the hotel and no one picks up then they tell us they will try to get ahold a manager so they can call someone or come up there then a couple minutes later the guy walks in from being out behind the hotel through a far door to outside then walks all the way up to the front and ask if we were there to check in, then said sorry he wasn’t expecting anyone mind you that we had a reservation for a room and had been up there for over 45 minutes now and he didn’t care. He saw that we were from Texas and was like wow that’s a long drive and trying to talk small talk like we didn’t wait for 45 minutes while he was doing whatever at the back of the hotel. If I didn’t already pay for the room I would have gone somewhere else. I was very frustrated with my stay and that ruined the whole night. I would love compensation for my troubles.

- Matthew (10/5): Great hotel for the price - This was a very nice hotel. The lobby was open and well kept. We appreciated that the TV was not on constantly. The room was very clean along with linens & sheets. The AC worked very well and was quiet when it kicked on. This is conveniently located off the interstate but we could not hear the traffic. The only thing we would rate low - trains rumble by occasionally but luckily do not blow their horns. We had earplugs so this did not disrupt our sleep. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. We actually stayed at this hotel Sat Apr 5- Sun Apr 6.

- Jeri L. (2/5): Feb 25th- Feb 26 - Upon arrival - everything was very pleasant , hotel was very clean . I took my bags to my room went back to job site l was on . Return to hotel late & went to sleep. Woke up at 4 AM to shower and return to To job site. Only to find out we had no hot water I notified desk. They said they had notified management and they would working on it. During checkout, I asked how long the water had been out. They said only last night during the night, but wouldn’t give me any credit because I was unable to shower and prepare for work. My job site keep me in town another night. I called the hotel again around 8:30 PM to see if their water was back on, I was informed yes it had been on since 9 AM. Upon arrival, the same kind gentleman that had checked me in the day before was on duty. I asked him how long the water had been out and he had said it was out when I checked in at 1 o’clock yesterday that immediately made me upset that they allowed me to check into a hotel that had no running hot water, especially when they knew it was a business trip, I do not blame the staff for their only allowed to tell us what management allows them to say but I think it’s very poor when you know your hotel is for whatever reason it’s 24 hours 10 hours two hours and not be upfront with your customer hot water is a pretty big deal in a hotel

- Andrea (10/5): Short stay in Richmond - The hotel was freshly remodeled and very nice. Very pleased with the cleanliness and decor. Loved having a walk in shower vs a tub. Typical breakfast, but glad to have nonetheless. The downside is that it’s located adjacent to railroad tracks, and it was very busy. Also, the heating unit turning off and on (like usual) was loud and also kept me awake. Not to mention there were people in the hall taking very loudly at 3:00am.

- CHRISTY (8/5): - Property is under renos so the lobby is a makeshift table but it was fine. Breakfast had good options. Only complaint we had was not enough accessible outlets in the room. They are now behind the new storage solutions (which a very nice).
- David W (10/5): Hotel undergoing renovations minimal inconvenience - The hotel was undergoing renovations, so I am cutting them some slack. The lobby was being redone, front desk was in a temporary spot. But they were handling it OK.
- David (4/5): - I was surprised to learn (at check in) that a $100 deposit would be added to my account. The receptionist noted that their website (best western) provides insight on this charge but there was no discussion on this in the expedia reservation.
- Douglas (10/5): - Loved the shower and the beds. The AC/heat unit was consistent and quiet. Very pleasant stay. Hot breakfast was very good and would have cost $25-30 for two if we had to go out to eat. The waffle with the topping and whip cream were excellent

I wish I had been more hungry to have enjoyed their breakfast. Outstanding offerings there. Highly recommend this Best Western.
