Guest Reviews
- Carolyn (8/5): It was a very nice overnight stay. - Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable. Fan over bed did not have a slow speed. No way to turn off air conditioning fan.
- Maria (8/5): -
- Christian (9/5): Good spot to stay outside Bakersfield. - Right off the highway. Quiet rooms. Comfortable beds. There’s a free breakfast. Our son eats everything, but said the breakfast was lackluster. Fortunately, it was free and there’s a surprisingly decent Denny’s next door!

- diod197 (10/5): Clean, friendly and accommodating - Best Western Wasco is the best place to stay in the Buttonwillow area. Although it’s a bit off hwy 5, it’s worth the drive. Always very clean and comfortable and a great friendly, accommodating staff.
- Ridy (8/5): I’ll be back when I’m town - Clean and friendly staff Hot tub closed to early
- Dan (4/5): Would not return - Little tiny tiny tiny bottles of soap and shampoo for the shower . Very little enthusiasm from staff members.
- John (9/5): Completely satisfied with the facility, price could have been a little more reasonable. - Easy to access location, hotel is in very good condition and our room was perfectly clean and comfortable. All was good.

- Katrina (7/5): Great locale for my work trip. Comfortable and professional kind staff! - A great clean safe option for the area Nothing really… it’s clean comfortable and serves its purpose. Not a place I’d go to for vacation. But if I lived in the area, I would be happy to recommend this to family or friends that were visiting me.

Ther no real blankets just two pieces of cloth.
Old matrasses giving you bad back pain next morning.
- Regina (10/5): - Very clean and great staff! Thank you for a great stay.
- Sharon (8/5): - This hotel is probably the nicest in the remote area of a small rural town, so its definitely my first choice. I have nothing but great things to say about the staff, super friendly and helpful. Room was nice - clean and quiet. My only problem was that my car was damaged overnight from what looks like a dog attack on the plastic over my wheel wells. There was a stray cat under my car, but the damage seemed like large bites, so we are assuming that a dog tried to get at the cat and my car took the brunt of it. At least the cat made it out safely! Freak accident, certainly not the fault of the hotel, and the clerk was very cooperative in looking at my car and informing the manager to possibly check security footage.

- KevinB191 (8/5): Nice facilities; great and caring staff. - Nice, quiet hotel, located close to gas stations, a Denny’s restaurant, and a Walmart. Elevator is a bit slow but functional. Remaining facilities are clean and operating in good order. Front desk, kitchen, and housekeeping staff are very helpful and pleasant. Rooms and WiFi access are good. Nice vale.

- Martin (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lobby was clean and updated with clean furniture and fixtures. Elevators worked well and clean. Our room was clean, contemporary and comfortable. Nicely remodeled. Air conditioning worked great and it also had a ceiling fan. A plus for my wife and I. Highly recommend it to everyone who wants a good restful night and relaxing stay.
- Silvia (8/5): - Check in staff not very welcoming.
Room was clean, hotel also. Breakfast area was comfortable and had a few typical breakfast items. Kids loved the pancakes.
Saturday night, lots of young adults in the pool who were rowdy, drink, and got out much later than posted hours. My kids couldn't safely get in the pool that night

- Ana (4/5): - The night staff are irritable and inconsiderate. They woke us up at 11 at night to complain. To be clear there was not a complaint made about our room she took it upon herself. There was not a need to, as we were not bothering anyone. I hope she gets help
And there was a bug

- Verified traveler (10/5): Always a nice stay - I always select this Hotel when I stay in the surrounding area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quiet and comfortable. - Quiet location away from main Highways. Comfortable and clean rooms and beds. Will definitely stay here again.
- MesaMac (8/5): OK But not as nice as before - We didn’t find it as enjoyable as our prior visit. The room (facing the Arco station) was OK- but the fridge (no freezer) had a loud hum and you could hear ‘thumper’ up stairs. Garbage pick-up at 4:30 am was noisy (not the hotel’s fault). Breakfast was quite spartan with fewer choices than I remember from our previous stay. A bit pricey for where you are but I guess with state prison nearby they have a ‘captive’ audience (sorry).
- Magdalena (10/5): - Easy check in and friendly
- Mark (10/5): - All very nice
- Rick (3/5): Would never stay there again - The breakfast wasn't good The gal that checked us in was very rude, there was no parking for a small trailer, the breakfast was worse than mcdonalds

- C4991TWchristinea (2/5): Unpleasant stay - am reaching out regarding my ongoing stay. I'm truly disappointed with the way the front desk dealt with my situation. During our stay, my son fell ill and unintentionally vomited on the bed. We quickly removed and rolled up the soiled sheets from underneath him (fitted sheet and a sheet underneath that fitted sheet). After cleaning him up and assuring him that everything was alright, we were unexpectedly charged $100 for the inconvenience. Regrettably, this took my husband and me by surprise. We frequently stay with you and have never experienced anything like this before; it feels as though they took advantage of my son’s illness for profit. It's just a small amount of vomit that can be cleaned up easily in a mom of three. Nothing a hot wash and bleach can control. When I explained that it was only the bottom two sheets and a pillow, they said it would cost $25 each, claiming they were "DAMAGED," as she described it. The price dropped from $100 for a complete bed blanket set to $75 for just three items which makes absolutely so sense and which is also ridiculous. My son felt completely bad when once heard me and my hubby discussing this charged amount. We let him know that accidents happen and it’s okay. Truly though this caught all of us off guard; I’ve never encountered a hotel charging someone for being sick. I get being drunk and a hot mess but being sick wasn’t something we planned for my son either. This honestly makes me reconsider my choice of staying at Best Western hotels. This hotel stay just didn’t make us feel comfortable after this situation. The front ladies working tonight basically considered us a nuisance for this inconvenience. The eye rolls and huffs were definitely heard and seen. Again we just aren’t happy with any of this. Stunned and upset to say the least. And mind you I’m a platinum member with best western. Yall need to work on ur compassion and empathy, Seriously lacking.
