Guest Reviews
- Tommy (8/5): -
- Angela (4/5): Fine. Was there just to sleep for 1 night and Slept good. - The king size bed was very comfortable The breakfast area was a mess. Looked like kids ransacked the place. Food was mediocre and the cleanliness of the room/restaurant made it less appetizing
The shower in the room could be updated
- Driscoll (2/5): -
- a626320a99df725cbb4847d5ed818e4a (3/5): - Did not eat breakfast.
Location was ok Building needs to be completely renovated!
- be89c7bdc28370e667bd3f7ed1ab13ee (1/5): - Children running up and down the hallway screaming and knocking on doors. Needs updating. Rooms are tidy not clean. Troubles with keycards working. Missing lightbulbs in room lamps
- Ron (9/5): -
- Guest (10/5): - The lady at the desk was fantastic. Very helpful.
- Nicklaus (1/5): It sucked - Nothing about the whole place. To expensive. For a run down hotel and out dated.breakfast went down hill since the last time we stayed there. Which wld have been 2/15/25
- Bob (5/5): Comfort inns have really gone downhill on maintenance. - Very difficult to make reservation and check in though Bookings .com.
- Mary K (6/5): -
- DAVID (2/5): Will look for different place to stay. - Location near Peoria. Closet door would not open. Air conditioner so noisy couldn't get to sleep. Bathroom appeared to be moldy. Couldn't find local TV channels.
- Shawn (2/5): - Bathroom was gross. Restaurant was closed without prior notification. Very run down establishment.
- Teresa (4/5): - The bathroom had a tremendous amount of mold. The staff
- Lorie (4/5): - It was a big hotel with big parking lot which was a plus but the hotel needs many updates and was not very clean. Employees were very nice. The hotel shows it has a restaurant and bar but neither one is open and hasn’t been for quite sometime. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke and we couldn’t get our key cards to work a lot of the time when going in and out of room and going outside.
- Cynthia (10/5): - breakfast was awesome
- Bradbery (8/5): -
- sharilynn (4/5): - The images online are totally different than what’s at the property. The rooms seriously need to be updated. My room had a water, moldy smell to it. The bathroom had mold around the tub and toilet seal. The toilet ran after you flushed it. This hotel has a water smell, like there is a leak that’s not being addressed.
- Bob (2/5): Cooperate headquarters should go and have a look! - Multiple towel had stains, bedding had stains, (bought clearance bedding from Walmart to sleep on) key cards hardly worked, door knob was falling off the bathroom door, bathroom counter was hanging down on one side by a half inch, shower rod was barely holding onto the wall so the curtain would not stay closed also had four wood screws on each side of the rod to help hold onto place. Had blue Room had a pool view with a busted curtain rod so you had a half room with light from the pool area. Never saw the pool being cleaned or maintained. Bottom of the pool had plenty of dirt and the stainless steel sides had stains that looked like coffee stains all over it. Breakfast area had no ac they had a industrial wall exhaust fan on a table blowing in the area OHSA would of loved to see this no backing on it and metal blades. Morning breakfast staff was non-existent. The one front desk lady wouldn't leave the desk area to get anything. Would just say find house keeping. They had signs for not blocking the doors with stones. They were block with stones every time I walked by. Not sure who's job it was to check but that person must have been on vacation. The only good thing was the room AC worked awesome.
- Miguel (2/5): - DIRTY. Found larva under bed and crumb every where. Housekeeping came and clean room barefooted and with one towel in hand. Frozen fridge. Shower had no pressure. Toilet backed up…and I was charged for the night. I have pics but will not post them. I shared them with the hotel.
- Kevin (2/5): Might look for better options this place used to be banging but feel new owners just don't care - That it was close to all my disc courses. There was blood on our wall I took it up with them nothing was done there was also food on our walls and they were just dirty. Next complaint key cards kept breaking and had to redo them every day. Water pressure was bad in our toilet kept getting clogged every time it was used.
- Michelle (8/5): - .
- Dale (4/5): Disgusting - One of the reasons i booked this hotel was because they advertised and showed pictures of a restaurant and pub. Everyday i was there, which encompassed both weekday and weekend days, both were closed. The room was disgusting, there was mold on the ledge or the tub and on the ceiling above the bed, the walls in the shower area were filthy, the bathroom door was hars to close due to either an extreme amount of dirt or the wood was peeling and gathering up, the curtains had what looked to be (hopefully) water stains on them. All in all od say the hotel is not worth the money and borderlines on biohazardous.
- Wenner (10/5): -
- Beth (2/5): Never again - Easy check in Room smelled of mildew and weed.
Bathroom floor was wet
Stains on curtains
In desperate need of upgrades and cleanings
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Refrigerator didn’t work. Side entrance lock was not working. People were using stones to keep door propped open. Breakfast was terrific however. Great for the price property itself could use some tlc
- Lena (8/5): - Nice and adequate.
- Becky (2/5): - Noisy. Dirty. Questionable on the safety.
- Kimberly (5/5): -
- Joshua (4/5): Tolerable/Stay at your own risk. - The room was a nice spacious size, but generally in very poor condition. Mildew and disclored tile caulk and grout made us grateful we didnt need to shower for this quick overnight stay. The overall building AC was down, making breakfast in the restaraunt area extremely uncomfortable, but the room AC was nice and cool.
The exterior was very run down, but the staff was incredibly nice and accomodating so definately wouldnt knock them personally. I think this place probably has a management problem, and why priorities arent being addressed properly. Maybe lack of buisness creating a spiralling downward since we were only one of a few cars in the lot on a friday night ?
- Janet (4/5): No Hurry to Respond - When I arrived to check in @ 11pm no one was at the front desk - sign was there that said will return in 5 minutes. I used the restroom in the lobby and heard someone talking but then stopped when I went in. I went back to lobby and waited and no one came - finally opened the restroom door and asked the person in the stall if they were working here. Response was yes! I said it’s after 11pm and I’m still waiting to get into my rooms. Desk worker was pleasant enough but was ridiculous that I was waiting that long to get service.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Breakfast was excellent.
- Polly (6/5): - Facility In need of a good cleaning and repair. Sink & shower/bathtub clogged .. when reported to staff. Nothing was done. Bathroom floor dirty. Staff bringing their small children with them as they worked. They said in a small wagon and played or rode their tricycles in the hallway & played. On the positive note, the place was in a convenient area, safe, & quiet. Parking was easy and plenty of places to park. I had left my pj's on the hook in back of the bathroom door and when I came back to get it, it was gone and when asking staff about it .. they said they didn't see it. Also at the same time, I left my pillow on the bed but they did return that.
- Eric (8/5): - Clean and reasonable price. Limited breakfast choices, but good quality. Would stay again.
- glenda (8/5): - We were happy with our stay
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The air was not on when we got to our room. There was no air in the breakfast area.
- Bradley (2/5): - Room stunk. Stains on bedding. Food stuck to wall. Walked out without staying. Worse place I have seen in years. Stay away!!!!!!!!!
- Lutricia (7/5): Good -
- Andrea (2/5): - Paid way too much to be up after midnight with kids running up and down the hall knocking on doors, kids screaming, people slamming doors and to get less than 5 hours of sleep. Terrible, terrible night.
- Rita (6/5): - Not that clean, the general areas were very warm in June, breakfast was mediocre at best
- Donald (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (4/5): I won’t stay here again until they update! - Old property with no updates. Diet in every corner. Hall ways & breakfast area was extremely hot!
- clark (4/5): - Toilet didn’t flush. Dirty carpet with big stains. Bathroom not very clean
- Taylor (8/5): Very good -
- Hans (6/5): - .
- Dawn (8/5): Very good -
- Steve (6/5): - Run down and in need of an upgrade. Large potholes in the parking lot, caused me to twist my ankle as I was carrying luggage to car. The room was showing it's age, including a shower curtain rod which was no longer screwed in correctly, which caused water to flood the bathroom. I should have read the Google reviews and stayed elsewhere!
- Douglas (2/5): - The room was supposed to have a roll-in shower; there was a tub. I did find what was supposed to be a platform to create a bench over the tube. It was on the floor next to the toilet very dirty. I wasn't in the mood to clean. Being handicapped makes traveling difficult but dirty conditions make it impossible.
- Michelle (6/5): - Check in and out was easy. Location was convenient to fast food restaurants and the interstate. The hotel is old, but the sheets and towels are clean. The pool is old, but sufficient. No hot tub. If you need a place to just sleep overnight it will work.
- Lisa (10/5): Good location - Customer service was good. Breakfast was good but was cold bc didn’t have heaters on
- Verified traveler (4/5): Find a different hotel - Rooms are pretty disgusting. Box spring was stained to all hell. Bathroom was so gross that I refused to shower (we only stayed over night). Bed was ok. The hotel as a whole is very old but not well maintained at all. The two ladies at the desk were super sweet and helpful later in the day. However, the gentleman at the desk during check in decided that whoever he was talking to on his cell phone was way more important than checking us in. So that process took about 20 minutes. Would definitely find a new hotel if staying in this area again.
- James (6/5): - The breakfast was subpar. Ran out of coffee. The breakfast alcove was too small and crowded (several ball teams were trying to get breakfast at same time).
- Kylie (6/5): Not worth the money - I liked the veiw The water didn't stay hot, didn't have a door to straight to our room. Half the lights didn't work
- jennifer (2/5): - I didnt stay wouldnt cancel and still charged me.
- Mary (10/5): - Excellent staff
- Katasha (8/5): - Clean rooms whole family woke up with very sore backs. beds were not the best. other then that nice place.
- Guillermo (4/5): - The staff is great but the property is awful
- Chad (6/5): - We accidentally booked for the wrong weekend, but the front desk was very helpful and moved our reservation. Rooms are outdated. The food at the bar was decent, but the bar staff was a little overwhelmed.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - No inside pool
- William (10/5): - Really appreciated the ability for a late night check in. Breakfast was ok, however it's included in the stay so I have no complaints.
- Rebecca (2/5): It was the worst experience that i've ever had at a hotel. - I was very dissatisfied with the place. The breakfast and the staff. There wasn't nothing that I enjoyed. The room smelled. There was still potato chips on the floor. The staff was very rude. I had to double pay and wait to get my money back. I had to beg for a blanket. We stayed three days and they told me that I exceeded the amount of towels that I could have and that I needed to wash them if I wanted more. My daughter and her friends were dancing in the lobby to practice for competition for which we were there for and he screamed at all them and kicked them out of the lobby.
- Kayla (2/5): Rude Staff - The staff was beyond rude. Our daughter was reduced to tears as she used the lobby to run her solo for dance competition the next day because the staff told us we were annoying, needed to leave, and we were bothering the others in the lobby. Mind you, we were the only ones down there at in the late evening. We had to beg for an extra blanket the first night and after staying for 3 days, we were told that we could not get clean towels unless we paid $2 a towel. Our room was dirty, boogers on shower wall, hair clumps on our clean towels when we arrived.
- Karen (5/5): Passable -
- Butch (8/5): - Wonderful staff. They really should have local channels available though. Very good breakfast. Clean rooms. Clean pool
- Kasi (4/5): - Overall the beds were comfortable, the room air sucked if it wasn’t for the window that opened it would’ve been stuffy and HOT! The morning of checkout we had someone come knock on our door an hour before checkout telling us it was time to check out like ummm no I still have an hour you can wait.
- Amy (4/5): - The place is really falling apart and dirty. Like really dirty. The pool had a light hanging with all the wires in the water, seemed a little unsafe 😂 parking lot was a disaster and I’m handicapped so that was frustrating. Parts of the building were cracking off and canopy’s were shredded. We decided to grab 2 Pepsi from the vending machine and they were $1.75, not bad but expired by nearly a year! Our room key stopped working 5 times in 2 days, we had to go to the front every single time and get new cards. The breakfast was ok, just not for me. Unfortunately, the restaurant/bar was not open while we were there so we were unable to use the pool table, which we really wanted to. Overall, we will never stay here again.
- Julie (6/5): - The price was good, you get what you paid for. Front desk gal was very nice at check-in. Bathroom had a dirty floor, wall paint & dry wall was chipped off. Hotel had a horrible smell to it. The floor around the pool (pea gravel in cement) hurts your feet.
- Meurer (9/5): Superb -
- Courtney (5/5): Passable -
- Jeffery (5/5): Overall, it’s just minor adjustment needs to be corrected - The location where I was having the event wasn’t far at all. It was in a perfect location 10 minutes away. The swimming pool area wasn’t clean enough. When taking a shower wasn’t getting enough hot water the handle in the shower was broken. Could not adjust the hot and cold water.
- jessica (8/5): Decent hotel for the price - It was a decent hotel for the price. Booked this room a couple weeks before for the state wrestling tournament, was one of the few options that was not super expensive. It was a nice hotel with a comfortable room. Not exactly the most sound proof hotel, could hear constant thumping and thudding from all the kids in the hotel (probably more on the parents than the hotel itself). The pool was nice, Hotel free breakfast was adequate. Not the fanciest hotel but a nice one for the lower price I paid.
- Daisy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adriana (5/5): Passable - Dirty room
- Sean (8/5): Very good -
- Austin (6/5): - Hotel was fairly clean and staff was nice. Had noisy people around our room which sucked but not the hotels fault.
- Dwayne (10/5): - Shawnesse at the front desk was so pleasant and nice. Her friendly smile and personality was wonderful. She was able to get us checked in timely matter. Thank you Shanessse.
- Steve (8/5): Just what we needed. - Grandkids loved the pool. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and had plenty of room to hang out and sit. Bathrooms are in need of an upgrade. Will definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Horrible! - Horrible. I can't believe how many good reviews this hell-hole got. To start with, the place is filthy. Not dirty, filthy like baseboards with mold on them, stained and sticky floors, bathrooms with toothpaste in the sink, all KINDS of hair in the bed, stains on the comforter, white powdery substance on all services in the room, and many more disgusting details. The heat is adjustable, as long as you want it to be 72 or 63, those are your only choices. The entire hotel reeks of cabbage and feet. The 30-something man that checked me in had on the most wrinkled shirt I'd ever seen. Like he slept in it. For a week. Dude, there's ironing boards in every room - maybe bop into one and give that shirt a quick press. He just looked and smelled unkempt and was quite rude. I went to check out at 6:30am and no one was at the desk. There was a sign, "Back in 5 minutes" which was blocking the "ring for service" button. After 26 minutes, I had to leave as I was already late for a morning meeting. I mean, it's Morton, IL, not the big city, for $80/night in that location, I expect big things. Like clean sheets and bathroom. Lots of hotels in Morton due to its proximity to the airport; pick another one, not Comfort Inn.
- Joseph (2/5): Rough stay - Tv did not work and had to change rooms. On top of this hotels mixed up my booking on the days.
- Denia and Donald (4/5): - Their website says they have restaurant and bar ,which is why we booked. Found out both were closed.
Came back from going out in bad weather for dinner and found out our tv did not work
Went to front desk to see note that somebody we be there in 5 minutes, 20 minutes later we were told there was nothing they could do about it unless we wanted to change rooms. I would not recommend
- Cesar (10/5): - Pleasant front staff
- Joy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samdra (8/5): Very good -
- tomaL4177EX (10/5): A Very Pleasant Experience! - The staff members were very courteous from check in to departure, especially the manager, Jack, who went above and beyond to assist us with a previous reservation issue. His diligence actually resulted in our receiving a full refund from the booking agency.
We found the room to be very quiet, clean and the beds extremely comfortable!
We wish the hotel, the management, and housekeeping staff the best of luck and future success!
- Clariss (7/5): Good - Only complaint is accidently a tablet there in room and told them exactly where it was but "staff" didn't find it.
- Thomas (4/5): - Due to a medical emergency that occurred on the plane before we departed Florida for Peoria/Morton, IL, we were unable to make the flight and stay at the Comfort Inn. As such we had to forfeit our reservation and the full payment.
- Gary (8/5): - Quiet, adjoining bar. Staff rude
- Josh (4/5): - Writing on the walls of our room and microwave. Room was very dirty, floors had stains everywhere.
- Stacia (4/5): Tolerable for one night. Will not rebook. Not good value. - Excellent location. Staff indifferent. Breakfast inedible. Parking lot in horrible shape, potholes...Cleanliness of room mediocre. Maintenance of room lacking, degraded caulk in bathroom, rusty shower head, water stain on ceiling.
- Fayieg (1/5): Bad -
- Brian (10/5): - No Complaints
- Stacie (10/5): Exceptional - it was nice and clean and the staff was friendly
- Kelly (4/5): - Our first floor room had an interior window to the pool and the light flooded in our room all night (through drapery).
Dead cockroach on bathroom floor and moldy caulk in shower.
- Johnas (4/5): Food in fridge - Left over molded food in fridge, soap was open and used and put back in wrapper as new, shower had moldl, cleaned room but didn't make bed just took used towels and put new towels out flat sheet had X marked on it with a pen white sheet
- Lori (5/5): Passable - The beds were fairly comfortable. Check in was easy. The hotel was very outdated. The rooms were not clean. There was a giant booger in the shower. There were stains on a few pillows. The smell when we walked into the room was very old and musty.
- Falk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Art (6/5): - The room I was in need some maintenance. Mainly the bathroom.
- Jow (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (4/5): - this is an older, distressed property. From the crumbling concrete and potholes of the parking lot to the damaged furniture and stale smoke smell of the room, this hotel is marginal at best. The breakfast was adequate and the beds were comfortable, but the vibe was "run down."
- Judy (7/5): Good -
