- Kaufman (9/5): - Very nice! Breakfast was a little sparse.
- Howard (8/5): -
- Larry (8/5): Good value with room for improvement. - I was very pleased to see the replacement of carpet with LVP. Some reviews I'd read indicated that the change was overdue.
Nightly rate suited my budget.
Very comfortable bed. Breakfast selections very limited.
Coffee in room among the worst I've experienced.
Not a fan of the shampoo & soap dispensers in shower. Think about it: People handling their bits are handling the dispensers. Perhaps they are cleaned between guests, but who knows?
Weird, loud tin around base of bed.

- Bunn (1/5): It smelled terrible and the breakfast was so bad. Will drive to Waco next time before staying here - Location was great! It smelled awful and my husband and son got sick asthma flare like they may have had mold. The breakfast was awful. No options. Would rather drive to Waco for a nice hotel.

- Rosetta (6/5): - The staff were friendly. The room was big an roomy. What I didn't like was the options for breakfast. The only option you have for got is making a waffle. The pastries were cold and hard even the powder donuts were hard and cold. The other thing I didn't like was they asked us if we wanted service in our room, I told them towels and dumping the trash which they asked for the dirty towels I gave them to them. I took the trash cans to them as well so they could dump them. We leave for the day and they go into our room after we left. Messed with our beds and touched my tablet and personal pillows. Which I just had surgery and didn't want them to.

- Jesslyn (10/5): Spacious and clean - The room was spacious and clean. I like that there is no carpet in the room.
- Lisa (9/5): A Very Relaxing Weekend - The room was very clean. When we checked in, it was very easy to get some extra towels The toilet sometimes had to be flushed twice, even if it only had toilet paper in it

- Stanley (8/5): - Coffee pot was old with water scale. I wanted coffee and there wasn't any ready downstairs either. I was early they said they start it at 5 am I was long gone before 5
- justin (9/5): Refreshing alternative to the typical franchise hotel. - The decor was refreshing...almost like an old lodge. Water in shower needs to be hotter....you could put a baby in it and never risk a burn.

- Nanci (8/5): Have stayed here before, will stay here again - Very clean, was able to check in an hour earlier. Mattress was a bit soft.
- Donna (7/5): -
- Lonnie (10/5): - Very clean and updated. Nicest I've seen.
- Tracy (10/5): - Yes breakfast wS good pet friendly was great .
- Crystal (8/5): - Reception staff not friendly at all. My daughter was able to have breakfast but i was not because i was not allowed to bring it to my room. I was not feeling well enough to go to the breakfast room and we had our dog that we could not leave alone in the room. You provide a refrigerator and microwave so ppl are allowed to have food in the rooms however they cant bring the breakfast back to the room? Due to medical problems i cant always get up from the bed. Due to my daughter having to leave at 7am Saturday to help her friend with her wedding, she wasnt able to bring any food to me intil 5pm that day. I also dont agree with the rule 2 complaints againts the dog then you have to leave the hotel. Do you have that same rule for ppl making noise? Just wondering. In the past i have had problems with kids go by my hotel room and bang on my door or rattle the door knob as a joke. This sets my dog off due to his protective nature.
- Debora (10/5): - The room was clean. The staff was friendly. I was travelling and allowed to check in a little early since I arrived before 2:00. Very nice!
- Daile (8/5): - Breakfast. Pretty quiet. Clean. Convenient location.
- Christina (10/5): It was exceptional. - Exceptionally clean and very attractive decor. They didn't have half and half for the coffee, only CoffeeMate. I prefer real dairy.
When breakfast was over, they removed the coffee even though people were still drinking coffee. Most hotels leave coffee available all day.

- JoAnne (10/5): - Very clean and updated. Staff was very friendly. Metal plate under bed that my husband kept kicking and startling me. Lol!
- Monica (10/5): - Such a cute property about 50 minutes from Waco. Very very clean! Front desk employee was sweet. Lobby decor made me feel like I was in an upscale hotel in Fredericksburg.
- Tara (10/5): - Property well maintained clean smells good and clean very comfortable beds. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!!
- Kelli (10/5): -
- Ben (10/5): - Clean rooms, and the a/c worked... thats all that ever matters to me. Would stay again
- Tammy (5/5): - It was quiet. The beds were comfortable. The pool was cl Re an They said they had a breakfast buffet. There was no buffet. The yogurt machine was broke. Half the time, you needed to find someone to refill the drinks .
Also, I didnt like the soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom. You had to push the button at least 12-13 times to get a decent amount
- VIRGINIA (9/5): - Welcoming staff. Location Minimal breakfast.
- Ralph (10/5): - Check in was easy. Room was clean and well appointed.
- TIMOTHY (6/5): - Ok but just ok
- Brad (8/5): - Property and stay was great. Only issue was very limited breakfast items.

- Darrell (10/5): - We stay there about every other year and itβs always nice
- Raymond (10/5): - Good place to stay people were friendly rooms are clean good place to stop on the way up to Dallas or going to West Texas
- Steven (4/5): - The carpet in the main lobby smelt moldy. The shower head no way has been replaced in years cleaning staff where very helpful and greeted us daily. Pillow has a dirty mark in it upon arrival. Recommend getting new sheets and pillow cases obviously they did not change them out from prior occupants.
For the price it was a little below standard would recommend not staying here unless your on a budget.
- Howard (7/5): - Location Noisy air conditioner!
- LeAndre (10/5): - Although situated in an area with little to do, the main thoroughfare was a straight shot in either direction, allowing for more choices. The staff (especially the young lady on the evening shift) was very friendly and helpful, offering recommendations and advice. Any shortcomings during the stay were due to the location, rather than the facility or staff.
- Nora (10/5): - Ease of access to my work location. Bed was amazing, price was affordable.
- Pamela (10/5): - Nice hotel.
- Ravi Chandra Reddy (10/5): - The hotel is the best.
- Ernest (6/5): Pleasant - Beautiful hotel in a great location but a little pricey
- Carita (2/5): Ended up not staying! No other lodging options in town - Local Smelled very strong of moth balls! No hot water until after we were to be checking out. No discount to go ahead and stay. We were EVENTUALLY credited our charges (once demanded) but very inconvenient! We were in town to check on ill, aging parents with no accommodations for our overnight stay!
- Raymond (10/5): - People were courteous and helpful
- Ray (10/5): - Staff Helped me very much , do to a miss booking date. They went above and beyond . Very grateful for their service and support. πποΈπ
- Olga (7/5): Good -
- Kerry (8/5): Very good - This was my second time to stay at Velkommen Inn. The first time was fabulous. This time not so much. The staff were not friendly. I stood at the front desk for about 15 minutes before just giving up. My sister and I came in late from our niece's graduation and noticed the smoking stand thing was melting and smoke was coming out of the top. It smelled horrible and we thought they should know. The guy was obviously on a personal call but just kept talking, I tried to say, "Excuse me", no answer. Not even a look up!! My sister said, "I guess they don't want to know the thing is on fire". So, we gave up and went upstairs. Friendlier staff. Move the smoking area from the door where you enter the building. That was horrible.

- Darlene (10/5): Great place to stay. Nice breakfast and staff. - It was easy to get our Bicycles into the room and they provided a very nice breakfast. It was clean and friendly staff. The automatic front door opens way too easily. We were sitting in the foyer and it kept opening and shutting without anyone exiting or entering.
