- Ambrose (10/5): Very clean and comfortable with great breakfast. - We were very comfortable. It was a quiet room, very clean. We enjoyed the selection at breakfast and being able to walk to a nearby restaurant. Nothing
- Pooja (9/5): -
- Naomi (9/5): What a lovely surprise, such a nicely updated room, very clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here,. - Very nicely updated room with lots of space. Very clean.
- Janet (9/5): - No real eggs
- Dameon (7/5): Bare minimum for the money. 2 star out of 5 - Location and breakfast The bed mattress was old and saggy. We thought we saw bedbugs. The coffee was very weak and cold.
- Karen (8/5): It was a convenient one night stay - We liked that it was dog friendly and had breakfast on site The beds were very soft or too old in our room. And the air con system which we ran for airflow was very very loud and rattled.
- Annika (10/5): - Trevlig personal och fantastiskt rum. Lite lyhört
- HankB888 (10/5): Wonderful place, great staff. - Really lovely hotel, great breakfast, Darwin was extremely helpful with some complicated ski trip logistics. Really went out of his way to make it a good trip. A great hotel and a great staff.

- carloB2286BC (8/5): Three night stay oin Golden - Our three night stay was a successful one. The hotel has plenty of free parking and our room was quite large. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the selection at breakfast was tasty with hot and cold options on offer. There was an indoor pool that looked OK, although not particulary private as next to the main lobby with glazed screens. This hotel is well positioned for an overnight or multi-night stay in Golden: would recommend.
- Fiona (8/5): - Location, pet friendly, lovely staff Beds and pillows are pretty uncomfortable.
- Andrea (10/5): Good stay in Golden for a good price - Clean rooms, good breakfast and cookies and coffee in the reception area was a nice touch.
- Tracey (8/5): Lovely stay - Nice hotel
- Jasmin (8/5): We will definitely be back to this hotel! - The staffs are very friendly, we love the breakfast many choices the foods are hot, they keep on refilling and lots of pastries. The location is near to all the national parks that’s why we booked this place.

- Olga (7/5): Im Vergleich sehr teuer -
- Allan (10/5): -
- Angela (8/5): - The breakfast was great except certain food supplies were limited or not available. I also liked how your hotel was pet friendly. I wish the price of the hotel was cheaper. I also was not aware that I would not receive any bw points because I booked through booking.com.
- Don (7/5): - We stayed one night on our way to Lake Louise. No restaurants within walking distance/
- George (6/5): Okay but in need of updates. - The breakfast was good. Had waffle machine, a variety of breads and muffins, fruits, cereals, scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, bacon, beans, potatoes. It gets crowded the later it gets but there is seating in the hall too. The room met our needs. View was as expected, just the parking lot. The shower pressure was good. Kids enjoyed the pool. The room had a musty old cigarette smell (not sure what was making that smell). Everytime we left the room, we would smell it when we came back. The mini fridge wasn't that cold, so they exchanged it for another one.
- Jerry (5/5): - Breakfast was just ok at best, but staff was tooo noisy Coffee!!!!!!!
- Gerald (10/5): Overall a terrific stay. Late check-in appreciated. Bed and pillows incredibly comfortable - Was very good. Had choice, hot, eating area tight and small Nothing, it was terrific
- Charles (9/5): -
- Mattias (10/5): Väldigt bra ställe med fantastisk personal. - Väldigt trevlig och tillmötesgående personal.
- Danislav (10/5): -
- Deborah (7/5): Comfortable and clean but need more breakfast options. - Large, dog friendly room. Wished breakfast went until 10 and that there were gluten free options.

- laurienfrankk (2/5): Dont' make the same mistake I made. - Please read and hopefully learn from my mistake. I have been making hotel/ resort reservations through Expedia for TD for many years and I usually check reviews and check the hotel website etc before booking a room.
But it was late at night and I needed a room for our daughter and grandkids the next day. So I booked the room and included in 'Special requests " that I required a "pet friendly" room. I chose this hotel because the listing indicated it is a pet friendly hotel and it has a pool.
My daughter received an email the next morning indicating that the room I booked was not a pet friendly room. So my daughter phoned to ask if there were any other options. The hotel manager answered the phone and at first he was unaccomodating and quite rude, he suggested she cancel the reservation. Which was not an option due to the fact that it was non-refunable according to the Expedia for TD website and she had a friend that would be arriving and staying in that same hotel. Once my daughter mentioned her friend will be staying as well, he agreed to sell her a second room that is pet friendly and he would not charge the pet fee. Hmmm? He charged her another $90.00.
So lesson learned don't be too quick to book a hotel room. I regret not checking the hotel website before completing the booking ( which I usually do )
The kicker to this hotel experience was that they couldn't use the pool. It was freezing cold. This was the reason we chose this hotel. But there was no mention on the Expedia for TD site to indicate the pool heater was not working.
So needless to say I will not recommend this hotel to our many family members and friends or ever consider this hotel when we are travelling between BC and Alberta.
- Mavis (10/5): I have stayed there in past and will continue to book when I stay in Golden. - Pet room was very accessible to back door. Outside they have a proper dog area. They have tables just off lobby so I could have my dog with me and have breakfast. Breakfast is OK . Could have a bit more yogurt and fruits. Back door got stuck. Locked out. Manager fixed immediately when I reported it.
- Max (9/5): -
- Unterschultz (8/5): Enjoyed the sauna and room was very comfortable. Expected the pool to function when I booked, so was disappointed it was - Clean rooms, sauna was nice, Pool was cold due to part problem
- Brigitte (10/5): Best hotel in Golden that we have stayed in so far. (Guess that’s why it!s called Bedt Western!). Will definitely stay t - Clean, friendly staff, breakfast included. A small negative: bathroom lighting not great for makeup application. Suggest an expandable wall make up mirror that lights up with one side magnified.
- Tubassam (9/5): -
- Terry (9/5): - Great clean comfortable Pool too cold to use
- jan-eric (8/5): -
- Joyce (9/5): -
- Phyllis (8/5): -
- John (10/5): -
- Tobi (6/5): - The breakfast was good, the room was good but the 2 staff that were working prior to 16:00 and right after were definitely not people persons. Also, warm up your pool, we couldn’t even go swimming because it was so cold and that was one of the reasons I booked there
- Laurell (8/5): A great overnight location on a roadtrip ! - The property was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very good. Nothing
- Christine (8/5): -
- Nancy (10/5): - This hotel was clean and had the best shower. Bed was comfortable and there is plenty of parking. Desk staff in the morning was very friendly.
- Dianne (10/5): - The staff were very helpful and the beds really comfy.
- Elena (10/5): - Clean, quiet area, friendly staff
- Teresa (10/5): - The parking lot has lighting.
- R. Milan (8/5): - Excellent breakfast, had to switch rooms, first one reeked of smoke, second one was much better, but my husband still thought it smelled funny. Bed sunk in the middle, not very firm.
- Caroline (10/5): - We choose this hotel because it was central with all the national parks around. We stayed there for 7 days and it was very nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was super clean. The included breakfast was really good, we ate there every morning before hitting the road, they served eggs, sausages, bacon, waffles, muffins, cookies, pastry. The sauna and the pool were welcome too after a day hike. I’ll stay there again despite the area which was a industrial and almost empty. Golden seems to be a town where people stop for gas or eat but not really enjoyable to walk around. We had a nice diner at the Wolf’s Den though. I’ll recommend it.
- Lynn (10/5): - Was clean, large room .easy check in
- Katia (8/5): - Camera spaziosa e pulita, letti comodi. In buona posizione. Buona e varia la colazione Nulla
- sarah (6/5): Nice enough hotel, close to the highway. - Hotel appeared clean, great to have onsite pool and parking. Room was comfortable and clean.
We ended up cutting our stay short from 4 nights to just 1 as we really just didnt like the area, staff at reception were apologetic but if there had been more to do around Golden we may have stayed longer. Quite noisy in the early hours with staff yelling down corridor at each other, don't know if it was just because we were on ground floor we noticed it more.
- Deanna (7/5): -
Z.B. Papptassen für die Getränke etc.
- Q7677BTjw (8/5): Nice room, responsive staff, bad luck with the A/C and alarm clock. - The A/C didn't work but they fixed it first thing the next day. I really enjoyed the pool. It was the warmest (which was still not very warm) and nicest on our whole road trip. I got to use my noodle. It wasn't crowded. The breakfast was good. Nice staff. Our room was large, had a sofa, chair and desk, and that was the best thing. The alarm clock was terribly confusing. We had to use it to recharge our devices and somehow it must have accidentally been triggered or it was left on from the last guests, because it woke us up at 6am, hours before we wanted to get up. That was a downer. The towels were better than many hotels. We will stay here again. And that says a lot. (I'll double check the A/C and alarm clock next time before 5pm when maintenance leaves.
- Paula (10/5): - The manager was amazing, friendly, offered lots of options for things in-town.
Clean
Pool was lovely. Nice breakfast.
- Jaskiran (4/5): - The bathroom curtains are so dirty. Looks like there is blood on it.
- Fred (10/5): - Very comfortable
- Philip (8/5): Pleasant hotel. - Good size bedroom; staff where friendly and helpful; decent breakfast Breakfast room was cramped; needed more space
- David (10/5): - Great place to stay in Golden, pool is a decent size and clean, great continental breakfast for those needing to get going on the fly. Rooms were clean with everything you'd need.
- Chris (9/5): Lekker hotel voor op doorreis - Altijd goed een best western en een heerlijk zwembad met sauna
- pearl armande (9/5): Great visit with family and everything pleasant. - everything
- Steffany (1/5): Aweful and for the price not worth it. I would of slept in my car if I was a sole travel - Nothing Our room was not cleaned it had four beer cans under the couch on arrival. The room has an awful smell of beer and cigarettes. Would not recommend to anyone. We just stayed one night and that was enough to never go back.
- Janis (10/5): I would stay here anytime in golden. - Everything was very good. Clean and well maintained. Staff very helpful and breakfast was great. Also your just off the main road which made it very quiet, and it is easy walking anywhere from the hotel. The only thing I would have like to see since it was the golden ultra race if the breakfast could have been open for 6:00 am on the Saturday and Sunday. It was very good breakfast. Thanks you.
- Sarah (8/5): -
- mark (4/5): Average - Breakfasts in the morning was a nightmare, a bus load of people were leaving and swamped the dining room and we had to fight for a table to eat, didn’t seemed like they were prepared enough, definitely didn’t have enough space for the guests since we’re eating out in the passage way on their laps
- noreenm136 (6/5): Comfortable. Over $300 a night in Sept is a Lot. Elevator old. Room very clean. Two Tim Hortons..too busy. I will stay in anoth - I have no idea what to write. I already wrote more than one hundred characters on another part of this review. This system is Crazy!
- Hoa Thai (10/5): - Very good
- Tammy (10/5): - Very friendly and clean
- Donald (8/5): -
- kenneth (10/5): - Convenient
- christa (7/5): Great location - Get location Little pricy for a very basic room
- Gregory (8/5): - The rooms were clean and comfortable and enjoyed the pool
- Andrew (9/5): - EV charger worked well. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Expensive
- Anne-Marie (9/5): - The staff were excellent...from check-in to check-out!
- Kim Baruzza (9/5): Great one nighter - Location
Price
Beds Hardly any gluten free options for breakfast
- Justin (6/5): - Was a good stay.
- David (8/5): -
- Bhaktavatsalam (4/5): Avoid this place if possible. - Location is central to Golden and near Highways and gas stations. Rude and untrained staff. Stinking corridors, broken laundry and dryer, missing microwave utensils, dangling fridge etc.
- Trevor (10/5): - Clean and friendly
- Gail (10/5): - Very clean , spacious room and bathroom!
Felt luxurious and modern.
- Anne (8/5): -
- Johnathan (10/5): - The lobby area was very welcoming, room was clean and spacious. Pool was a good size and breakfasts were filling with hot food options freshly made. The dryer in the laundry didn't work well, but otherwise it was a comfortable place to stay and rest for a couple of days.
- Mario (4/5): - Convenient location, no the best hotel conditions, the rooms are sad
- Darlene (6/5): - Comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean, great breakfast options.pool is nice. Staff were great and accommodating. We had a pet friendly room and always nice to have this option, however the room reeked of pet urine and a very fragrant deodorizer was sprayed to cover the smell, it didn't cover it. No other rooms available so our pet fee was waived.
- Romela (10/5): - Excellent
- Puneet kaur (6/5): - Very humid, carpets are very dirty. I saw some bugs. Room had very bad humidity. That need to change the carpet and renovate washrooms and windows.
- Deborah (8/5): -
- Larry (10/5): - It was nice, staff were okay with service. The breakfast was very nice. The only complaint would be the pillows were not comfortable, but that can be a very personal thing. As well Expedia had the location across the street, no big deal, just a heads up:)
- Dianne (8/5): - Clean room. Comfortable bed
- Kyle (6/5): Dissapointed - We thought there would be a mountain view due to the name and area however mostly industrial and most rooms including ours lookout to the parking lot. The beds were not comfortable pillows were big and hard , there was no gym , the breakfast was not very good. The staff was not friendly seemed annoyed to have to do the regular duties like check in, they seemed to not have enough staff to run the hotel. It is in the middle of nowhere however we stayed there to be near Yoho and there are not alot of options. I would not stay here again due to the price too high for what you get.
- NILEEMA (6/5): Everything was good except for the cleaning lady who opened our door unexpectedly while we were still in the room -
- SOOJI (8/5): -
- Rajwinder (10/5): - Hotel is settled on highway but far enough for quiet stay. Neatly kept.
- Mike (10/5): - Had drinks sitting outside and looking across the river .
Was very nice.
- Tracy (10/5): - Beds were super comfortable and lots of room as we had a room that slept 5 adults.
- Lorenza (5/5): -
