John at the front desk was the coolest. He gave me lots of recommendations on things to do and was just a kind soul. You can tell this guy cares about his work and his guests.

John at the front desk was very helpful and was willing to accommodate my requests (for example, a toothbrush). He let me know that he was available until 11:00 PM. This was not my first stay at this property, and would likely use it again should I find myself needing accommodations in this area again.

- Lilian (9/5): Great location, spacious room, comfy beds - Perfect location in downtown Buena Vista close to grocery shopping and restaurants. Our room had a gorgeous mountain view. The room was spacious and beds were super comfortable. I love that there's a decent sized indoor pool and they serve continental breakfast until 9:30am. There's a $100 incidental fee that will be charged at check in on top of the daily rate. Use a credit card to get it refunded back immediately after checkout.

We were especially pleased that the room was cleaned for the second night’s stay with made beds, clean towels and replenished supplies. Staff was very kind and helpful. The gentleman who checked us in at 4 on Friday was very welcoming and helpful. The gentleman who serviced the free breakfast was also welcoming and very efficient.

Honestly, one of my favorite Best Western experiences (unless others have also stepped up their game recently). It has a delicious breakfast with a wide selection of offerings: oatmeal (including fresh berries to put in it - you dont see that often!!l along eith the usual items to put in it), eggs and bacon, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and the other standard fare. Pretty amazing complimentary breakfast!! The beds were comfortable, you have a very nice sized refrigerator in the room, and you have an actual nice bath rug in front of the sink. Not the flat bath mat in most hotels, but an actual, fluffy bath rug that feels nice on your feet!!! I have never seen a hotel a have that. Finally, I LOVE the sustainable aspects - they have glass glasses (not paper cups), they have a glass bottle for you to use in their water bottle filler to have water in thr room, and they have a water bottle filling station! I highly recommend this hotel. The one slight downside is that there is no elevator to get to the 2nd floor. So, if mobility is an issue for you, I wpuld suggest calling the desk when you make a reservation and request to be on the 1st floor. Otherwise, the walk up the steps is very short and helps you work off breakfast.

The hotel has been renovated and has such clean and classy details everywhere. The staff couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. The breakfast was delicious for an included breakfast as well. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Additionally, I loved that they have water fountains on every floor, I forgot to buy water bottled and woke up thristy on the middle of the night and I just had to go to refill my bottle outside. It was nice! I was on the first floor and had a hard time falling asleep because I could hear the guest on the second floor walking around. Maybe the hotel needs to put thicker carpet.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted with friendly faces and given helpful information. The facility was very clean, with comfortable rooms and beds. We were impressed with how well the breakfast looked and the variety of options. The pancake maker was a hit! Staff was friendly and the swimming pool was a bonus! We would visit again.

From the seemless check-in process with MonaLisa (who was AMAZING) to the immaculate, spacious, bright, updated rooms and the delicious, hot, fresh breakfast with tons of variety, we could not recommend this place more! It was walkable to town and the Surf Hotel, the staff was great, parking was super easy and the coffee shop / gift shop were SO cute. We will absolutely be back, thank you!

Toaster was problematic and the staff member ordered a new one. The hot water (for tea) was not hot enough to brew a good cup of tea. Housekeeping did not come one day.

The breakfast was a great spread, with an onsite associate to make sure that all was good. On-site gift store. Two floors but no elevator.

Breakfast was outstanding with warm foods, hot and cold cereals, breads, muffins, burritos, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheeses, coffee, tea, juice, and even gluten free options along with a separate toaster for such items. All staff members were friendly and helpful. We did not have time to use, but great there is an indoor pool.

My only complaint would be the price. There's no way an ordinary motel room in Buena Vista, CO, should cost $265/night. Just a week ago, I stayed at a very nice, upscale hotel right on Whiskey Row in downtown Louisville, KY, for $160/night. But aside from the price, this was a fantastic stay.

The woman who checked me in was friendly, professional and genuinely seemed to enjoy her job. The breakfast is better than the “free” breakfast at most similar hotels. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

- Z3817WJnancys (10/5): Kind and friendly service! - My initial contact was with John who helped these very tired travelers to their room The next morning we had Maureen whi was so friendly! She offered great suggestions for the area. I mentioned to the maintenance about a sluggish drain and he fixed it right away. Everyone is fun and kind…. I think the mamager must lead the way for staff!
