Guest Reviews
- Debbie (4/5): -
- Brittany (4/5): Definitely wouldn’t do this again! - The staff was nice Location, cleanliness, smell was horrible, beds were a bad sleep, not a good experience

- Jerry (5/5): - Here in lies my problem. I booked through a Third Party. Booking.Com. Booking.com communicated great with me and apparantly did not communicate very well with the hotel. I received a confirmation, several as well as an acknowledgement of my late check in, which booking.com said the hotel agreed to. I included my credit card information, email and phone number with my reservation. Upon arrival, during the specified late check in period, I was told my reservation had been canceled due to an issue with my credit card. I said ok, I can use a different card. But they were full. I then presented him with all my printed out confirmations but it did not matter. I had been driving 4 hours and was in town to attend a funeral. I was tired and ready to rest. I asked why didn't you call me or contact me about the problem with my card? Since I had a reservation you knew I would be coming. He said he did not have that information. I found that hard to believe but it was a mute point at this time. Now the only positive in this entire experience was the fact that Mr. Patel was calm and seemed to be really sorry about what had happened. He offered to find another room for us allbeit 20 miles further north from our current location. I Thank Mr. Patel for being kind and patient though this entire issue could have been avoided had the hotel reached out to me and told me there was an issue with the credit card I had used to book the reservation rather than just canceling my reservation knowing I was going to show up and expect to have a room. The lesson I learned is a simple one, when booking hotel reservations, do not use third party online discount sites. Call the hotel directly. Especially if it is a short notice booking in a town in rural USA.

- Linda (10/5): It was very nice and clean and near a lot of places to eat great value for your money - Easy to find and the rooms are very clean N/A
- Jeremiah (4/5): -
- Tawnya (9/5): -
- Cherokee (4/5): - I liked how clean it was and smelled good Was pretty over priced, asked about breakfast as said and showed pictures, emailed and looked around. Never heard from anyone so got breakfast else where.
- Tracie (1/5): - The lobby smelled like human urine. It was aweful. I didn’t even log to the room. Was still charged by booking.com. Terrible experience with both super 8 and booking. Com Picture online is nothing like what the actual property looked like
- James (10/5): -
- Geraldine (10/5): -
- Jacqueline (8/5): OVER ALL AWESOME PLACE TO STAY - DIDNT GET A CHANCE TO EAT BREAKFAST, FAMILY WE WERE VISITING WE DID SEE FEW BUGS IN THE ROOM
- Dwight (3/5): -
- Nekita (3/5): - Making sure that everything is working.
Our room did not have working air conditioner .The management gave a fan that didn't have no more impact to get us cooler. We were very frustrated.
- Janet (6/5): - The beds were way too high to be handicap accessible. Had a very hard time getting my wheelchair bound father in law in and out if bed. The air conditioner was mediocre to be in such a hot climate. The toilet did not flush well even
- Tisha (10/5): - The property and room were very clean. The owner and staff are so personable and friendly. They really work hard to keep the property clean. This is located in a truly small town. There are only 3 motels no hotels as options in this city And this motel Super 8 is the best of the 3 hands down and the rate was reasonable.
- Jami (3/5): Don’t bother - The guy at night. Heck in was the only good part. Cob webs in the room, one muffin, one apple, one danish, almost no juice left. That was their breakfast at 8:30 in the morning on a Sunday. No ice machine. Office closed. Terrible!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - If it’s your only option, it’s ok. Otherwise, it was not clean, internet didn’t work, and the breakfast was just some cereal and juice, coffee maker didn’t work. The room was musty and hot when we arrived. If I had known, we would have kept driving to find somewhere else to stay.
- Jeree (6/5): - The room had a musty stale smoke stench
- Niki (1/5): Nightmare - The manager was extremely rude.
- Niki (1/5): Bad -
- tammysO5155FR (10/5): Never judge a book by its cover - It was so clean and comfortable. I have literally question every super 8 . I was very skeptical about staying here because everything was booked up. I stayed for two days and had to come back the following week for another 3 and made sure I booked here again!
Never judge a book by its cover! Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure they had an open room for me!
- Eddie (8/5): Very good -
- B2186SLjoyb (8/5): Clean, Comfortable and Welcoming - The room was clean and comfortable, the girls in the office were very nice and helpful in giving advice about the good places to eat. A big plus was the nice clean aroma when we walked in our room, it wasn’t that nasty smell you get in a lot of places - definitely better than the norm.
- Linda (10/5): Will book a room there again - The location near every where I needed to go it was very clean and the staff was great N/A
- Steve (6/5): - Could hear people next door through the walls.
- Janna (2/5): Very poor - Bad breakfast. Changed room to get tv
- Cyle (2/5): - Tv not working, chairs is ripped and a kids draw on the wall
- Rekhviashvili (10/5): Exceptional -
- Terri (9/5): Superb - Friendly staff, clean comfortable room.
- Beverly (8/5): Very good - The linens leave a lot to be desired.
- Brittany (2/5): - We didn’t even get to stay at this property. Booked it for a school trip we were going on with my brother. We have a new kitten we couldn’t leave at home. So we booked this hotel as it was in the same town as the museum and was listed at pet friendly. We got in around 9pm to find out they don’t allow cats and even though ours was a baby and would be in a playpen the entire time they wouldn’t work with us. They immediately canceled our stay. We had to find a different hotel at 9pm at night and was 30 minutes away.
- Kevin (7/5): Good - The only breakfast options were cereal, coffee, and orange juice. I didn't have a coffee pot in my room. Had to go to the lobby for coffee in the morning. I booked two rooms, and they were on different sides of the building.
- Francisco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rick (8/5): Good for the money - This was a typical short stay, cheap motel along the route we were taking. It was alright, no problems.
- Francisco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Francisco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bonnie (2/5): It’s a dump. - No smile upon check-in, just sign here. Junk laying around the hotel. Room was okay sized and kind of clean. Furniture very worn. The bed was okay. Breakfast advertised for 6:00, but no coffee or food out at 6:15. Owner came out and said he’d get it going. Brought out frozen muffins. Heard a gunshot in the middle of the night.
- Jeff (8/5): Very good -
- Catherine (10/5): - Had a great time. Just wish more food options were available.
- Thomas (4/5): - No hand soap packets, 1 mini shampoo bottle, shower pump dispensers empty, long list of charges if steal towels ($23 qnd not greatest towels), air conditioner condensate leaked into room, breakfast was cold cereal, 3 lego waffles, 2 bagels, 4 mini pastries. Construction workers staying there do not eat there. I saw another person throw his "meal" into the trash. I had coffee, waa. Its a small town. This looks like a 1 level strip motel from decades ago, now Super 8.
- Lisammy (5/5): It’s okay for a short stay - Average Indian owned and operated roadside hotel. Nothing fancy. It was priced reasonable though. Breakfast was not good, as it had hardly any options. Go next door to the little coffee shop “Owl Treats Donut Cafe”for a great breakfast!! You’ll be thankful you went to Owl Treats Donut Cafe!!
- Hotels (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeremiah (6/5): - Just an average hotel
- Judy (10/5): Great hotel. Lovely stay. - Very good hotel. Way above average. Clean, great staff, accommodating, very comfortable.
- Marla (10/5): - The fence between my room and the liquor store across the field was broken down. I didn’t feel safe at night in the parking lot. Other than that - everything was fine.
- Thornton (6/5): Pleasant -
- Raymond (6/5): N/a - N/a N/a
- ying (2/5): - I do not feel safe at the area at all, we got bug bite all night, the bed smell very awful.
- Susan (4/5): Don’t stay here. Go down the highway to the next town or two. You can do better! - Good air conditioning and nice bed Bathroom had dirt in the corners, no shower curtain, water pressure was low and the water wasn’t all that hot.
- Betty & Chris (6/5): - I would of liked it to b smoking in the rooms
- Chairwoman53 (4/5): Run down, but relatively clean - Nice staff, but don’t expect too much as far as comfort and convenience. We needed a stop, and this was the nearest thing we could find, but we should have gone a little farther to Dumas. It’s just an old motel.
- Morris (4/5): - I like the recliner in the room. Did not like be charged 100 for smoking out room with doir open and s.oje smell getting in the room. Will not stay at this property again.
- Kendra (6/5): It was ok - Location Furniture outdated
- Carie (2/5): - Scummy hotel next to liquor store. Water leaked under door. Awful breakfast (dry cereal only). Cranky front desk person. Pictures are deceiving.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not school-group friendly - The hotel looks a lot better in the photos that in person.
I was traveling with a school group, and had booked rooms with two queen beds. None of them were actually queen-size beds - they were the standard, "full" size, double beds - a bit awkward for high school students.
It wasn't "dirty", but there were some unusual smells. The things in the room were clearly worn, with tears in the upholstery and the bedsheets.
When I checked in, I asked about breakfast for my group, to be told that on Saturdays and Sundays, breakfast was not available until 7 AM (the time at which we had to leave). I had booked this hotel mostly on the fact that the website claimed to have breakfast included, and there was no mention of it being "late" on weekends. The manager did finally agree to set up at 6:30, after I pointed out that there was no way that I could have known about her sign in the lobby about breakfast hours when I was booking the rooms online from 250 miles away.
- Michelle (2/5): - Room nasty
- Gloria (6/5): - Could have been better
- Mary (5/5): Passable - The walls in the room need to be cleaned especially the bathroom 🤢
- Janet (8/5): Decent basic gotel. - Its a basic hotel. Older but clean. Staff was friendly and professional.
- katrina (6/5): ok place - We just wanted a place to sleep for the night, This was it. Was nice enough and clean but very little shampoo and body wash in the tub, I was already in there and so nothing I could do about it. The breakfast was not good. We went at 7am and nothing was ready. We won't be back.
- Kasey (7/5): Good -
- Enrique (9/5): Superb -
- Perlita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): A good stay for a short notice event. - Location to my event was excellent. Our event was 1/4 mile away so we could almost walk there. Food venues across the street were a plus. Toilet not fastened to floor & shower curtain missing. Breakfast selection was marginal. We ate elsewhere.
- Betty (2/5): - Room stunk. Damp carpet. Not sure sheets had been cleaned. Walked across floor barefoot my feet were black. One wash rag was provided for 4 women. I refused to take a shower. When we checked out we finally had to slide keys into cubby and took a picture because no one would answer. Don’t even get me started on breakfast. Do not recommend at all.
- Savada (6/5): Not so bug free this time - When we come to town this is our choice hotel and it’s been great. This time there was roaches in the room near the lamp behind table by the fridge. Besides that everything else was fine.
- Dana (4/5): Not a pleasant experience - The room smelled horrible of musky smell when we arrived we had to leave the door open for about 30 minutes to let the room air out. Bed was not comfortable however the AC was cold which was a saving Grace and the shower was hot. Two positives out of the stay the rest was not pleasant a tent would have smelled better and been more comfortable. Breakfast had no coffee made and only dry cereal sat out, no milk for the cereal anywhere in site. Will not be staying there again.
- Veronica (8/5): - Good location.
- Mary (9/5): the stay was good will book agian. - It was a good everything was okay
- Jamie (4/5): Disappointing -
- Deborah (6/5): Pleasant -
- Marcus (10/5): - It was fine
- Patricia (5/5): My short stay served its purpose. I would not do an extended stay. - Convenient to where I was visiting. The water was brown, there were several flies in the room, and I turned on a light when I checked in to have on for later. When I returned later the light was off. I didn’t like that someone came in after my check in without a request from me.
- Janet (8/5): - Really enjoyed my stay, room was comfortably and clean. Clean white towels, and the bed was extremely comfortable on my back. However I did not get the chance to benefit from complimentary breakfast. But overall my stay was great.
- Princess (10/5): Exceptional -
- Percy (4/5): - Have been charged after i left the property,40.00 if i owed additional amount why not tell me when i was there and state reason for charge i came to office and returned my card to people cleaning the room, at the room
- Dairus (6/5): - There was a hair in the shower and a dead spider. Neither was mine. Chair in room okay but not new, no soap, we bathe showered with shampoo. No breakfast. Non friendly staff
- Valerie (8/5): - It was just close to where I needled to be
- Bingman (4/5): McGehee Super 8 by Wyndham - Quietness of the area The fact that I didn't find out they wouldn't accept the Visa debit card I used to reserve the room when I got there. The lady clerk at the desk made me go get cash and then charged a $100 deposit for paying with cash and at check out they couldn't find my deposit to return bc the same lady put the WRONG ROOM # ON MY DEPOSIT MONEY. The male clerk thought I put the deposit on a credit card until I tol'd him she made me go get cash bc they can't take my card (he was even confused) bc the reservation was on a card....sooo check in AND check out were VERY VERY FRUSTRATING and ruined the trip for me & my boyfriend. The facility needs to make it known to booking .com that they require only credit cards. The fact that they didn't make it known until arrival was VERY inconvenient and cost me ATM withdrawal charges as well. Will not book with this hotel again!!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Find somewhere else to stay unless you like rude! - The lady at the front desk was completely rude to us and barely spoke a word to us. The room was nice, but the property is a mess with garbage all over the parking lot and in certain areas, like they were hoarding. Find another place to stay, unless you just want to sleep. Otherwise, it is a dump and the staff is super rude. Paid half the price at a nicer place. Don't bother.
- Linda (10/5): - The staff was super responsive. My TV screen was cracked and I called, just to say it was that way when I arrived. Within minutes they brought another TV. There is plenty of room to walk my dog, with a big front lawn but I also drove to the nice city park to get a longer walk around the park
- Kenneth (7/5): Good -
- phil (2/5): - You guys screwed me. I booked through Expedia online. Got there late at night. Hotels said that they didn’t take online bookings. Even though PayPal was charged, they would not honor it. I had to drive 150 miles late at night in order to find a new hotel in the middle of Arkansas.
- Luci (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (4/5): Disappointing -
- Nakua (8/5): Very good -
- Swope (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (6/5): It was just ok - We're not nit picky about our stays, but this one left a bit to be desired. Upon arrival in the room, we discovered that there weren't any hand towels. There was just 2 bath towels and nothing else. A trip to the office solved this problem but when we showered, we discovered that the tub didn't drain properly and the water was a rust brown color. The room appeared otherwise clean. Breakfast was pretty much nonexistent. A smidge of milk with a handful of Frosted Flakes and some type of chocolate milk in a box. There wasn't even enough food for the two of us. In the description online, breakfast is something that is listed as an amenity.
- Adam (1/5): worst stay....never back - The lady at the front desk was completely rude. I would never recommend this place.
- Noble (4/5): Disappointing - Hoots. Food place down the road Service.
No breakfast as advertised.
- Nakia (8/5): Very good - I liked the stay N/A
- Lou (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kathy (1/5): We won’t be back. - We didn’t see any breakfast so my husband asked and was told about the only place around for breakfast was Daylight Doughnuts down the street. The sheets were very rough and when I complained I was told there was nobody from housekeeping still working that I could change my own sheets. I asked her why she couldn’t change them and was told she had to cover the desk and she had a baby. I asked for a discount and was told they couldn’t discount because I booked through booking.com. I could get a full refund and just leave. The water was extremely brown and nasty. The metal frame of the bed bonged when you moved on it. The soap dispenser was as far away from the sink as it could be and the soap dispenser in the tub was only reachable if you were standing.
- Lita (4/5): - The room didn’t smell good upon entering. One of the pillow cases looked dirty. The bathtub fixtures were in disrepair and difficult to use. I was looking forward to a hot bath, but the water was so brown I couldn’t do it. It was a last minute booking and I wish we had just kept driving.
- Karen (6/5): it was ok - location. on our route home. older and outdated
- Tawana (8/5): Very good -
