Snoozan (7/5): Disappointed room was not as reflected on Booking.com but I was charged as such. - Decent breakfast. Able to checkin upon early arrival. I booked a 2 bedroom suite(two queens)only to find out that meant a one bedroom with a king and a pull out couch in the sitting area. I was disappointed to be charged for a 2 bedroom and not receive what I booked. I was told by front desk they do not have 2 bedroom rooms there. Also, the hotel was basically empty the night we stayed and they put people in room opposite us and they were extremely noisy in the hallway thru the paper thin walls.

Thankfully we never locked ourselves out but we had to put a shoe behind the door to prevent it from accidentally locking.

Restaurant staff/food/beverage choices are exceptional. Bkkfst choices were typical but good. Walmart, gas & fast food chains walking distance from hotel. Nothing to complain about.

Keith (6/5): Poor Management of the Restaurant Good Management - The restaurant served a great breakfast. The dinner was interrupted because of a technical issue with their cash register. The manager had no backup plan. The poor waitresses had to deal with surly customers that wanted food and beer. They had to close the restaurant and turn away many disappointed customers. Have a plan B.

One was lumpy and one was not. No premium channels on the tv. The restaurant was very good,but had a limited menu. The waitress kept using the phrase "guys" to address us. It was somewhat disrespectful. We thought the breakfast was delicious and hot. Wonderful friendly staff.

Everything is always well maintained, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it's very convenient to have the excellent Burgoyne Grill within the hotel. There are cheaper options in town, but none that we would stay at a second time.

It was deceptive and the sofa was extremely uncomfortable. I was quite upset and they did nothing to rectify stating that technically the living area counts as a bedroom because of the pullout sofa. The hotel was also poorly staffed and there was no management there to speak with. Will not go there again. Honest room description. Better staffing.
Verified traveler (4/5): 1 overnight to visit Ft Ticonderoga - The hotel was basically just adequate for 1 overnight stay. Adly, the hotel is terribly outdated with ancient carpet, paint job that looks very much mid 90s. The AC unit in the room is very loud and ratlibg and the refrigerator in the room made a terrible whine and we had to unplug. The sheets were clean and the bed was okay. This is place is way overdue for a make over,but given the lack of choice in the area it likely wont happen.

The In house restaurant was ok could have had more of a menu selection and seemed to be out of alot of things I heard being ordered and Multiple beers i tried ordering were out.

Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointed this year - Not very happy this year. Upon arriving our room smelled like cigarettes and marijuana smoke. I did alert the desk. My son went for breakfast at 7 and there wasn't anything left and food not replaced so he got up at 6 the next morning right when it started to make sure he got something. The hot tub had sand in the bottom and wasn't clean. The room itself was clean. Housekeeping did a beautiful job with the initial setup of our room and the desk staff was so friendly and helpful!! Loved all of the workers ❤️

The front desk isn’t attended without ringing a bell, which would be fine except when the front desk person did show up they continued their personal conversation with another staff member while we stood there waiting to check in. The only other annoyance was we left our “do not disturb” card in the door slot because we DIDN’T want our room serviced while we were out. The cleaning service took the card out of the slot and cleaned anyway. I would have preferred they honor the card in the door, even if they thought it was left by mistake. A simple voice message on the phone could have told us they didn’t clean because of the do not disturb card being in place.

Would not stay here simply because there was zero chance of sleeping at ALL.
Alfred (2/5): - Upon entry, i was greeted with toenail clippings all over the .ain entry room (the living room). Clippings were in tbe tub, on the couch, under the sofa table and all througjout the room in general. Then to find food and other substances unfer tbe furniture cushions and under the furniture. Then only to be found out that their hozsekeeping staff had insinuated that i left drug paraphernalia there. I have to ask, how would tbey know who left what there with their so obvious lack of actually following a cleaning regime? It didn't look like a vacuum had been run in the room for some time. But i later found out that i may no longer stay at their property. All because their housekeeper (a known drug addict) chose to slander me for no reason other than she felt it made her seem important. Perhaps the items she says she found in my room after i left, were things that she herself used in there when she was supposed to have been doing her job. BECAUSE WHAT THEY SAID THEY FOUND WAS NOT MINE. And i take great offense to their accusation. But regardless of that. The room was disgusting from tbe time i entered it.

For the breakfast choices for drinks, should have hot water for tea, there was none and not everyone likes coffee.
Jackie (7/5): Not a true “Two Bedroom” - Clean, friendly staff Two bedroom? It’s a one bedroom, pullout couch in living room but no extra linens ie; pillows, sheets or blankets???

Chris (10/5): - This is a very nice venue. The room was clean and comfortable as well as easily temperature controlled. Staff was helpful and the breakfast was varied and tasty.
Marriah (4/5): Better than otherare hotels but disappointed - Beds were stiff, older coil spring mattresses, hot tub was lukewarm, restaurant and bar were closed due to staffing issues. Hotel staff charged me even though I was already charged through the Hotels.com app. 2 room fees and 2 incidental charges for Sunday. Almost a week and my money still not refunded. Why are we charged for mediocre or unavailable amenities? Disappointed
Jones (8/5): Very good - Very nice, good atmosphere, friendly staff Spa had a lot of sand which covered us in sand when we used it
Rhonda (8/5): Okay stay - The accommodations were comfortable and clean. Only stayed for one night and had someone above my room that was heavy footed and loud late at night and early in the morning.
John (2/5): - Spoke with desk clerk about no tv she explained that it was unsafe for employees to clear the snow off of the satellite dish acting manager never offered any discounts and the fact that there wasn’t any entertainment was not disclosed upon check in and by the time we checked out the next day still no entertainment

Shawn (8/5): - Everything was great except the restaurant service was not good. The hot tub sand filtration system was blowing sand in the tub and the pool was cold.
