Guest Reviews
- Laurel (10/5): Clean, comfortable, convenient -
- Brenda (10/5): Love to stay at Best Western Inn - The suite
- SONIA (7/5): Nice place, may or may not stay there next time. - Convenient location, overall nice place The pull out sofa bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Also, There was a baby screaming next door all night.
- Donna (9/5): -
- Valerie (3/5): -
- Brenda (10/5): It was a great place. Could have more choices for breakfast - It was conveniently located
- Kevin (10/5): -
- Cockrell (5/5): Burlington stay - Location
Staff was good, NOAH was very helpful check-in and helping us find a place to eat near by..
Quiet Very dated, older facility
Breakfast Buffet could use some help
- Alba (1/5): - Avitaciones viejas y una araña en ka cama
- I9637FCchristinet (10/5): Great place to stay! Clean, comfortable, well supplied. - Debra at check-in, very sweet, helpful. Room was spacious, well supplied, clean and pet friendly. Great breakfast options.
- Lynnette (7/5): Fit the bill for a roadtrip one night stay! - Good variety of items including hot food items and beautiful room. Bathroom walls and fixtures could use some touching up or remodeling.
- Jones (6/5): -
- Martha (2/5): You get what you pay for - Liked I could swim The smell of the room was horrible, smelled of old folks w a hint of smoke. The bathroom curtain had bugger stain on it. Breakfast was bland and pancake maker was not working both days we stayed even after telling the lady all she said was I’ll go shake it. The swimming area only had a couple towels and super hot but the water was very cold
- Ray (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KIDS!!! - Nothing at all. Absolutely disgusting, adult bodily fluids (semen) was covering the walls and doors and even the handle of the bathroom was covered in it. I took pictures and videos of everything. The staff was very rude and unprofessional, her name is Debbie. We were there for a total of 30 mins before we left, and I made sure to stop at the front desk to bring up my concerns with Debbie, in which she started yelling at me that since I booked through booking.com, that I couldn’t have a refund. I brought 4 kids with me who are all 7 and under, and now I’m afraid of them having been exposed to a biohazard. I’m very concerned, and very angry. I have a lot more than just these four pictures, but it won’t let me submit more. I am disabled and I sat in the pull out sofa and can hardly walk now because I fell through the end of it!!!!!!! I have a confirmed diagnosis of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, making something as simple as that to cause EXCRUCIATING AND DEBILITATING pain, with absolutely NO warning whatsoever. The pool smelt like MOLD, there was cobwebs and visible mold in my room and even in the lobby right above Debbie’s head, in which I also was able to record on video. I am willing to provide the rest of the pictures and videos I have if given that option. I’ve always had so much trust in BW, but now, not so much. I’m disgusted, embarrassed, and drained. I was expecting a good nights sleep after being on the road for 4 days, and I didn’t get that.
- Paula (9/5): We would stay here again - Beds were comfortable and room was spacious. Doggie business accommodations were good (baggies, trashcan, grassy areas)
- Keven (10/5): Great place. Would absolutely stay here again - Very nice place. I would definitely stay here again. Everything was great. The breakfast was average, but that doesn’t even enter in to it. Highly recommend this place.
- Privitt (7/5): - It was right off the Interstate with easy access on and off.
I chose a king suite with a separate bedroom and it was very spacious, with plenty of room for our family. Unfortunately, I was put in a room right next to the front lobby, elevators, and swimming pool and it was very noisy.
The water in the bathtub did not drain. By the time I washed my hair, water was up to my ankles. This is a serious problem for someone who is prone to foot infection.
The king size bed rolled badly to the middle, and the sofa bed that my 15yr old slept on was very uncomfortable, and he ended up just sitting in the chair all night.
- Richard (8/5): Nice - Great location, nice room great staff, will stay there again. Remodeling, but will be done soon.
- Leroy (7/5): -
- Lidia (9/5): Good choice for a one night rest - Property was tidy. Breakfast was decent- not as many choices as other places but foods were good quality and enjoyable
- mauxbh (2/5): Troubling website reservation experience - I booked a reservation for Best Western on the Best Western Website, I mistakenly booked it for the wrong day - the website kept bringing me back to the date I was booking, not the date I was reserving for. I called the number immediately after clicking the 'reserve' button to ask for help fixing my mistake. (8:45 pm I booked a room for that night when it was meant to be the next day). I was told on the phone that this couldn't be fixed by them and I had to contact customer relations the next day b/c they were closed for the day. I left a message for customer relations that night just in case they didn't want to help me the next day since time had passed. At 7am the next day I was on the phone and was told that customer relations could not fix this issue and I would need to contact the hotel directly. It took me calling over and over again for the hotel manager to finally call me back, telling me she couldn't fix it either but go ahead and book a room for the night and we could see if maybe a refund could come through but that I need to contact the booking agent - which was BEST WESTERN in the first place! I told her I couldn't afford to put another $300 on my credit card. She offered no help. So I am completely frustrated with Best Western and will never stay there again.
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Gregory (10/5): - Great location, it was clean and all the staff members were were in contact with were kind and helpful.
- Peggy (9/5): - Very comfortable room, clean facilities, great breakfast Side door could not be re-entered at night
- PewPotato (8/5): Convenient, but has some gaps in service - Convenient location, but breakfast was not up to normal expectations. Only decaf in airpots. Complex coffee machine that had no instructions and seemed like it was not fully setup. No whole fruit. Milk for ceral missing from breakfast area.
- Caitlin (8/5): -
- Manuel (10/5): - Very good
- Kelly (10/5): It was ok - Location is great employees very nice No hot tub bed was kind of hard and toilet sat to low to ground hallway was pretty squishy
- DANNYLEE (6/5): ok - location was good as only a few minutes from the conference meeting location. Check out clerk was nice and helpful. checking in was so so with clerk. ac in hotel lobby and halls were non functional and hot. laundry had one working washer and dryer. Breakfast could have been better. bread/pastries were stall. eggs were so so. sausage every day. no variety. potatoes one day but were mushy and cold.
- Julia (8/5): -
- Jim (9/5): The hotel was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. - We did not have breakfast there. Overall things were very good. Nothing
- Pam (8/5): -
- lloyd (10/5): Enjoyed our overnight stay. - Breakfast was good. Would like to have had sugar free syrup available. Sugar free syrup not available for breakfast.
- Tracie (9/5): -
- Debra (7/5): -
- Harry (9/5): -
- Jackson (8/5): - It was very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Easy checkin and out. Toilet immediately clogged and a plunger could not be located anywhere. Front desk staff couldn't find one anywhere. It took a long time and one was located finally. Heat/ air didn't work well. It was so hot in the room, and it was set at 60 degrees.
- Martin (9/5): Very quiet & comfy - Very meager biscuits and gravy, real. eggs muffins very dry
- Y3216NEnathanm (2/5): Room had several negative issues. - We stayed one night late November after a long drive from eastern Oklahoma. The heater never worked properly, which caused us to leave at 5:30 AM the following morning due to the room being cold. The tub, while using the shower, did not drain well, resulting in standing water about ankle deep. The sink had no stopper so a washcloth was used to prevent loss of any item into the sink drain. All these concerns were brought to the attention of management. An apology was given, but no compensation other than an offer of a 20% discount next time we stayed there. Best Western is no Hampton Inn, where if one is not satisfied with their stay, obviously for good reasons such as ours, the stay would have been compensated. Although this particular B.W. is rated highly in Trip Advisor, our stay was quite disappointing due to inadequate room qualities. It is my understanding that a newer Fairfield Inn is now open and if we ever travel this direction again, that is where we would stay and the Best Western Carousel Inn & Suites can keep their worthless discount and hopefully apply some of their future revenues to fix the heater, unplug the tub drain, and install a sink stopper.
- Stephanie (9/5): -
- Angela (3/5): Was ok - Location The room had a horrible smell that smelled like the laundry was left in the dryer too long. Burnt smell couldn’t sleep because of it also a stain an the blanket not comforter
- Tamara (9/5): Was good for one night -
- Berger (9/5): -
- Manuel (10/5): Buen personal muy bien atendido - Muy bien
- Mandy Rowe (6/5): - We liked the pink lights and the color scheme. The staff was friendly and courteous. The reason I choose your hotel was for indoor pool and it was ice cold.
- Wendy (9/5): -
- Vanitha (4/5): - The facility did not feel good and also the breakfast was not good. It needs a lot of improvement.
- Ruth (10/5): -
- jimsintexas (10/5): Great place to stay - The room was spacious and all was good. If you get a chance to see the carousel in Burlington, you won't be disappointed. Food in the area is good too.
- Carla (9/5): Very nice but expensive for 15 hour stay - Pool/spa not available
Breakfast (eggs) not very palatable
- Jim (10/5): - Breakfast was great and staff was wonderful. Great place to stay
- Carolyn Sue (10/5): - Staff was courteous and professional. Room was excellent.
- Gary (10/5): -
- Conrad (6/5): - This property was disappointing. The breakfast was the worst that I’ve had in a long time. We had to not eat and go somewhere else. The walls are paper thin so you can easily hear the TV from the next room. The staff was very friendly.
- Brad (8/5): - Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was full-breakfast with plenty of options. The only negative was the WiFi. Only reason I was staying in Burlington was for work, and need good WiFi to do it. So this cost me at least 10 hours after I got home to do the work I could have done at the hotel. My next stay in Burlington will have to be at different location.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Bruce (6/5): -
- alicia (8/5): - The front desk staff was friendly the breakfast was very nice. The pool was dirty so we did not use it.
Water pressure in the shower was poor.
The breakfast was good several choices and made up for the pool use.
- james (8/5): - breakfast was good with a nice selection and well maintained. Very minor, the exercise room needs a new stationary bike to replace the recumbent bike. And there was not a bench present for the dumbbells that weighed up to 50 pounds. Please add a bench.
- Devin (10/5): - Clean room, friendly staff
- dannysH6012ZM (4/5): Dissatisfied - Way overpriced for the stay breakfast not available when we were ready to eat and leave coffee was cold and the carpet in the rooms was gritty and the beds were very hard. Hallway floor had lots of soft spots differently a 1 star hotel
- Lisa (10/5): -
- Tracy (10/5): - Great so far!
- Kathy (10/5): Nice place to stay - Clean and comfy. Nice shower & a good night's sleep.
- Jacqueline (6/5): Like most BW - We frequently stay at BW for convenience and past experiences. The only thing we'd noted is the extremely soft water made it difficult to wash soap off and the shower head although it was supposed to have multiple pressures only one worked and was a medium pressure so washing long hair was challenging. Missed the breakfast so can not give any information regarding quality or selection.
- micig2015 (8/5): Great hotel for travelers. Would choose this hotel again. - Great place for travelers. Quiet, great pillows, clean, friendly staff. It was the best breakfast at a hotel that I’ve had so far. Delicious hot breakfast sandwiches. I would have given it a 5, but there was no coffee when we got to breakfast. All 4 coffee urns were empty. I tried to tell the breakfast host, but I guess his English was no good, and my Spanish wasn’t good enough. I thought he understood and
we waited 10-15 minutes until another guest that spoke Spanish told him, and he brought more coffee. It’s downwind from a feedlot in September (the smell of money), but don’t be put off. You can’t smell it inside the hotel.
- Joyce (10/5): - Very nice, lovely decor, quiet, very comfortable, large dining room & breakfast.
- Pamela (10/5): - Convenient location for a stopover on our trip
- Susan (8/5): Convenient, comfortable and clean. - Location was great. Comfortable, convenient, clean. Breakfast was lacking. Milk container was empty. Just one banana for fruit was left. Muffins were nasty and the microwave didn't work, or I couldn't figure it out.
- Robert (10/5): -
- Michael (8/5): - Quick stay while traveling. Just off the hwy and has a Love's station right across the street.
- nieves (10/5): - Nice hotel in this area.
- Cathy (4/5): Run Down - The hotel is dark, dreary, stuffy and felt unkempt and dirty. Room 123- the AC unit sounded like a jet engine when cycling and could not sleep with it running. I asjed for a fan- no fabs available. The security clasp was mussing - apoeared sheared off the door, abd used towel found on a hook behind the bathroom door. Carpet was dirty and lighting was very dim. Front desk gal was overwhelmed. Breakfast was nasty. Best Western management needs to visit this location. Shameful for the price.
- D6987MLscottg (2/5): Bugs and Mis-Labeled Bed Sizes - Bugs in room, bugs in the breakfast area, reserved a suite with 2 queen-sized beds and was put in a suite with 2 full-size beds. Definitely does not live up to other Best Western Plus locations.
- Verified traveler (4/5): So-So - Options for the free breakfast were scant. They offered some boiled eggs and when cracked open it was completely black ! No telling how long those had been there. Nothing was fresh. Not impressed. Room was a typical room. Nothing more or less.
- Enrique (10/5): -
- Patricia (6/5): Okay. We had a roof over our heads fora few days in order to adapt to elevation. The beds were comfortable. The hotels - Location It served our purpose. However, I think this hotel needs some work. Kind of dirty and old, especially the pool area.
- Paul (6/5): - We stayed at the hotel and it was an easy check-in was adequate and clean.
One of the primary reasons we stayed was comments from previous travelers about how wonderful the breakfast was
Well, let me tell you if you’re staying here so you have a good breakfast and I would say……keep moving. On the road for three weeks staying at places every night and this has to be the worst I’ve ever.Had.
Powdered eggs, sauce and wings so hard didn’t cut them with the plastic utensils. It tasted like they were cooked multiple times. If you must stay here get up early drive and find someplace else.
- Teresa D (6/5): - The staff was friendly and breakfast was good. It needs updates and the carpet has stains.
- Joan (8/5): - It was clean and quiet. The breakfast was marginal.
- Mike (2/5): - The closed caption settings for all TVs was turned off and staff could not get the master control to make the CC feature on TVd work. This is discriminatory and not accessible.
- Douglas (7/5): Ok place to stay but overpriced - The room was comfortable and clean The pool was too cold for me and my child to enjoy and the breakfast was not to the usual best western standard I expected but was ok. For those reasons I would say this place was overpriced.
- Darcy (8/5): - Quick overnight stay. It was goid
- Joseph (8/5): - Clean property but at the desk they have a sign that clearly states for debit card check in there will be a hold for incedentals that will be 10%-15% if entire stay, but then they go ahead and charge you $100 for incedentals which would be over 30% of my stay and say that it's policy when it clearly states other wise
- Siri (6/5): Lovely staff, very kind and attentive at check in - This property needs a facelift. While the front desk agent was attentive, kind and lovely, the building itself was damp and dark. My room had a saggy mattress (sparkling clean linens), insect activity- few flying insects in the room, bathroom smelled of heavy odor covering air 'freshener. Sad state of affairs, whomever owns this building should be paying closer attention.
- Richard (7/5): Good -
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The hotel is outdated and rundown. If you want to swim on your trip, don't stay at this hotel. The indoor pool deck and pool water were dirty and unpleasant.
- Corrinna (8/5): - Nothing unique
- KE (4/5): - We stayed every month traveling back and forth between MO and CO, but this time the WiFi was out for the entire stay. Fire alarm went off in the morning hour, scared our dogs. It turned out that there was a minor fire in the kitchen. The place definitely needs a remodeling, especially the carpet.
- Toni (6/5): - There were bugs in the pool.
- Ashley (4/5): - Very disappointed in the property it was dirty, no towels or cleaner in the exercise room. No towels in pool area, the door to back property was PROPPED open all night long. No way to sanitize anything, looked for employee, never found one. Also machines didn’t work, and the floor looked as if there was mold and nothing had been cleaned in a very long time.
- Rush (9/5): Superb -
- Tresa (6/5): Disappointed - Clean, 2 of the 3 beds were comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, staff was friendly Couch bed was not sleepable, swimming pool was dirty and not as nice as pools at cheaper motels, swim towels were about the size of hand towels. My biggest problem was the price vs amenities. I was paying for the pool and extra bed.
- Jason (10/5): - Great ambience on the property.
- Capitena (8/5): Very good -
- Teresa (9/5): Superb -
- Beth (5/5): You can do better. - The location and price. The room was not clean. The carpet was dirty and it smelled. The shower handle needs to be replaced.
- Rebecca (7/5): Good - When we got there, there had been an accident. A truck had hit a transformer and the electricity in the area was out. This was really stressful for me because I had a zoom meeting scheduled and needed electricity for my computer to work. The receptionist was calm, cheerful, very apologetic and helpful. As it turned out, electricity came back on in time for my meeting. Getting there with no electricity!
- Kassi (6/5): - Cold pool! Not heated! It was freezing!
- juliemA2893TP (6/5): You're missing the PLUS - While this is a Best Western Plus, it doe not live up to the "plus". Nice staff, clean room, but nothing extra special. Breakfast was fine but relatively average.
