Danielle (6/5): It was ok. Will be staying elsewhere though not worth the price. - It was near my clinical site for school. Pool/hot tub were nice and staff was great. Super loud at night! Walls were paper thin felt like i had an upstairs neighbor in the ghetto. Kids were running up and down hallways. I didn't get much sleep. Which was unfortunate because I had to wake up at 5am the next day. So I didnt get to have breakfast and only got 5 hours of sleep. I just wish they had some type of curfew or the main floor rooms having sound proofing. For over 200 dollars definitely wasn't worth it.

SEE (10/5): - I booked this hotel for work, and it was absolutely worth it. The staff were very friendly and kind, always greeting me in the morning at breakfast and whenever I came in or out. They have a wonderful coffee machine that makes espresso, lattes, and more—such a nice touch that saved me a trip to the coffee shop each morning. Breakfast was good, and they even offer it to-go if you don’t have time to sit down, which is great for taking along for lunch.

Booking said Best Western had free cancellation, but the staff would not allow me to cancel my second day. Due to inclimate weather, I was forced to drive in a snowstorm. They did not have a banquet breakfast for you to choose amounts and items to eat.

travelingCAgal (6/5): Guarded breakfast station bad idea! - Upon arrival the clerk had trouble getting our credit card to work for the standard deposit in case of damage. We liked the spacious room & furnishings. At breakfast, however, we didn’t like the woman who stands guard over the kitchen which is not self serve! You have to ask her to get you what you want (packaged oatmeal vs. readymade, yogurts, etc.) The only thing you can get yourself is coffee. They also had ready made eggs but she had to serve and hand it to you. She didn’t even cook a custom order which is the only time I’ve ever seen a person stationed in the breakfast room. She was also gruff in her manner standing guard over the breakfast food. Way too early to end breakfast also at 8 or 8:30 am on a weekday depending which sign you read (the one in your room or the one at the breakfast room). Coffeemaker (Keurig) didn’t operate very well in room. I’d give this place a thumbs down for the breakfast situation. It doesn’t work. Self-serve as most hotels offer is much better.

McWag_SF (10/5): Best hotel in Monticello - This is the nicest hotel in the Monticello area. The pool and hot tub are always clean. We usually get a king suite when we stay here, because we like the extra space that accommodates the sofa bed and second TV. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. They exhibit "Minnesota Nice" to the fullest extent. There is always parking available. The hotel is close to restaurants and next door to the drop off location for Groome transportation that goes to the airport.

susanbY4423SJ (10/5): Awesome Experience - Manager is above and beyond so are his staff. Clean room. Stay at this hotel at least 25 times a year. Breakfast is served by hosts. It is a two star breakfast. Swimming pool is nice and clean. Have a awesome coffee machine to make different coffees.

BozMN (8/5): Great place to stay in the area - I stay here a number of times a year and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and I like that it is prepared. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because they don't have a lounge ;)

WARREN (8/5): - Really great staff and facility! We arrived at 2am, after 15 hrs of driving, the gentleman checking us in was kind, personable and cheery. Comfortable bed, clean room and Great choice of breakfast menu. We would definitely recommend!
