• Rrasuss (1/5): - Nothing. Didn't end up staying the place was abandoned. No one there. There was no one in the whole place and evidently construction going on.
• Shaylee (3/5): It was quiet and dead but the hotel it self needs some updates. - It was quiet The hot tub was cold, our heater in our room was not working, there was not a single cleaner that came in the 4-5 days we stayed, called and asked for extra towels and toiletries and the lady at the desk got mad because she wasn’t in “this hotel”.
• Laurie (3/5): Served It's Purpose, But Not a Nice Stay - I liked the price and the front desk gentleman - for the 5 minutes I saw him, was helpful and pleasant. Was extremely thankful for complimentary laundry room. The water was HOT. It was close to gas, grocery, food. For the price, it served it's purpose. But other than a place to sleep and get a hot shower - this is NOT a good place to stay. While the bed/bath were clean - this hotel is just falling apart. It looks like it started to do some upgrades, but nothing was ever actually done - the demo yes, the remodel, no. The only "nice" looking part was the lobby - however, it looks as if it's a "self-service" check in/check out situation. There is a kiosk and not a real live human being. I saw one housekeeper, do 2 rooms and not another soul my entire 2 nights there. There was water stains all around the AC unit, there was some kind of crusty something on the window frames.... the room had clearly been a smoking room - recently - because it had that old smokey smell. There was absolutely no "view" from any side - only other hotels or parking lots.
• Janice (1/5): - There was no breakfast, even though it was advertised on Booking.com. The management was rude and wanted us to prove that Booking.com said there would be breakfast. We were told, on Booking.com, that there would be breakfast included. We were also told that we would be able to get a roll away bed. Instead of a roll away, we were made to upgrade to a two double bed room paying more that we originally expected. Service was poor and the management was extremely rude. There were rarely people on duty and the front desk. They wanted you to do everything by kiosk.
• Jane (3/5): Price was very good, but I would rather pay more and have a clean facility. - No breakfast was available Overall lack of cleanliness. Windows were dirty throughout. Interior of elevator was dirty. Hallways needed to be vacuumed. Room needed to be vacuumed. Sheets had hair in them. Bathrooms were not clean, even the bathroom mirror was dirty. Trash and cigarette butts on outside need to be pick up daily. We asked for a refund so we could go somewhere else but they refused.

• Tania (1/5): - Easy on off from the freeway Charged 70.00 for the pet fee. AC was super loud, fridge did not, light by the door did not work. Only other light was small lamp between the beds. It rained during the night and we had water coming in through the window. I called front desk and they just said “ok”. Obviously aware of the problem due to water stains on the curtain.
• Stephanie (8/5): Stay was ok, lication is great. - Location The front desk is not manned, you have to use the phone to reach anyone. We stayed for three nights and needed cups and coffee refilled. We called using the phone at the front desk, we never received the refresh of cups and coffee for our entire stay. Hard to judge the staff when they seemed absent from the property. We actually never saw a house keeper either.
• JUDY (8/5): It was a good location with nice size rooms - In the process of updating front area. So that is nice. Rooms are a nice size. Bathroom needs updating. Chips and non slip area is all yellow. Very dark mold in 1 corner of the shower/tub area. Road into hotel could be improved.
• Cody (1/5): Please avoid at all costs, poor customer service, unclean rooms - Advertised as “pets welcome” + “pet friendly.” Upon arrival, we were given a surprise pet charge of $70/per night for one well-behaved 35 lb. dog. The manager claimed that all hotels in the area charge a similar amount. When we told them no, that’s very high, the response was “we want fewer dogs/pets staying here.” (Again, advertised as pet friendly.) Also, showers were cold, mentioned this to staff multiple times, and the last time the manager hung up on us (they are never at desk; you have to use communal phone to try to get a staff member to front desk). The staff member on the phone refused to come to the front desk when asked for assistance with the cold shower. There were also stains on the couch in room, filth on all doors, bottle caps from previous tenants on floor, moldy shower curtain, and other guests also had cold water - we asked others when waiting for service at front desk).

• Livia (6/5): - It was fairly new, pretty clean. It took front desk staff 3 tries to make the room keys work. My room was next to service room, it was very noisy.

When we got there the the automated check in said it was $70 and called back and they said it's $70 and can't cancel. The room was hot and the AC froze up so room stayed hot. Shower head had very low water flow. Wouldn't stay there again!

Plenty of rest comfortable beds thank you so very much. - The breakfast room was not ready yet so I cannot comment on that but I did see that it will be there by the next time I come back in May I really enjoy the clean rooms. Quiet hallways nice wonderful staff. The pool area was wonderful. I love your hotel. I will be back in May for My Son graduation and I know the breakfast room will be done and the breakfast will be great thank you so very much for hosting me in my family. Nothing could’ve been more better
• Connie (6/5): Not a good time had by all! - Good location, hav had a fairly good stay there before Asked 3 times for a hair dryer (the one in our room was missing), didn’t have a room at all when we arrived because they had given ours away ( in spite of the fact I had messaged them that we would be arriving late) but he found us a room without a light, there was no phone cord and they promised to bring us one but never showed. Also….there was never anyone at the desk, we had to use the phone on the wall, which rang 42 times and was never answered! Very disappointed with our stay this time. They also should quit advertising free breakfast since their breakfast area is “under remodeling, or give a discount. BTW….. that’s a “booger” on the glass of the picture in the picture below, but we couldn’t report it because the front desk was never manned.

• Billie Rae (6/5): Room review - The shower curtain has mildew on it. This is an easy fix and it should be taken care of. The heating/cooling unit in the closet was so loud I could not sleep. I had to shut it off, which wasn’t the end of the world because it wasn’t hot or cold out. The bed was not comfortable

I could see several spots where I knew weren't sealed and I knew the water was going into the wall and I thought "oh great, I wonder how much mold is in there." Bathroom counter was also not wiped clean.

Black hair in the beds; used bath towel hanging in the bathroom when checking in, bathroom faucets had water spots, bathroom floor had debris on it, bathroom shower curtain had mold stains, exercise rooms water fountain not functional, no Clorox wipes in the exercise room, the heating/cooling in the hall had a protein wrapping on top of it and the ice machine had summer sausage wrappings on it

• Magen (2/5): You don't want to stay here - We were out in a room we were told was vacant and cleaned, even after I brought a package from Amazon that was left at the room where I was assured the person was gone. The bed was slept in and the towels in the bathroom were still wet from use . We decided to leave the property and then realized all the mold along the exterior window. We stayed next door at the Astoria, same management, possibly owners. Unfortunate.
• Jana (10/5): Very nice place to stay. No breakfast but new and clean hotel! - Beautiful new hotel with lovely room. Easy to find. Elevator and parking close by. Clean bathroom! Nice easy chair to relax in. No hair dryer? Air Conditioning was leaking with water on the carpet at the window end of the room. Very little contact with front desk. Nobody there and checkout is simply drop key card in the box in the lobby. Very little interaction with a human being? No breakfast or coffee?

• William (8/5): Has that new hotel smell - Ok, it's not a new hotel, but they were finishing the remodel while i was there. Rooms are done, but the lobby area and other amenities were still being finished. There were some odd things in my room; holes in the shower tile and an odd thing that looked like a wall mount for an iron. I think they need to check the rooms for relics of the old Fairfield Inn.

• Mai La (10/5): - Parking wasn't pleasant but overall great hotel. Very nice, except entry light wasn't working and we had no one to contact arriving at 2am

• jimdstotz (6/5): Decent place to spend a night. - Not a bad lower end place to stay. we dropped in for a quick sleep, rooms were nice enough. Overall no real complaints. Looked like there was some work being done in the lobby and no extra amenities of any kind.
• Thomas (6/5): Was mot happy overall. - Bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful. Hotel in the midst of renovations and did have any water available in the lobby or coffee. Stayed two nights and the room was not cleaned and no clean linens given for the second day. We had been out all day and had to follow up for clean linens in the evening. Gentleman working that evening was apologetic and helpful.
• kristyhN1542RX (2/5): Looking to charge you extra! Do not stay with kids or if you fear you may have any little accident! Better hotel in town - Beware! In the entryway as we are checking into their service less reception, a glass container accidentally broke through a bag only a foot or so from the ground. There is no rug and they never finished grouting their tile (still having customers as they are still remodeling the building, which we were unaware of) it chipped some tiles. We apologized and instead of being upfront, weeks later they charged my credit card with no explanation. If their tile would have been grouted this would never have happened. This is an entryway and should be able to withstand usage and accidents. Put a big rug down as people are trying to carrying multiple bags in. Very disappointed in the shadiness of how they handle business. That is what their insurance should have covered as it is a main area. Tried to contact them and never responded. There are plenty of other better hotels in this area.

• TravlinGuy (2/5): Room smelled like something died - I checked in and got my luggage up to the room. The keys didn’t work. So I had to take my luggage back down to the desk. He gives me keys that work. I walk into the room, and it smells like something died in there. I thought maybe someone left old meat in the fridge, so I checked. It was empty, but it was definitely the source of the odor. I called the front desk. He said he’d bring me keys to another room. I waited 10 minutes in the hallway (couldn’t tolerate the room odor). He never brought the keys. It was an interesting 10 minutes, though. I saw lots of sketchy looking people coming and going. Maybe the state puts homeless people here? I went down to the front desk and told him I would go to another hotel and asked for a refund. To his credit, the clerk said no problem. But he had to call his manager and get directions on how to do a refund. This wasted another 10-15 minutes because another guest was ahead of me, and he was also getting a refund. I would sleep in my car before I stayed here.

• Amy (6/5): - It was fine for what we needed. There were just some odd things. There was never anyone at the front desk, just a sign that said “I’ve stepped away, please use the phone to contact me”. At check in there was nobody there except for an iPad. I attempted to check in through the iPad but couldn’t get far. As I walked out to go back to my car, a gentleman came over and said are you ready to check in? He brought me in, upgraded our room, and we were on our way. The lobby of the hotel was bare- other than the iPad stand and the desk, which had nothing on it. It had no chairs, signs, artwork, pen cup… nothing. We checked in and went to our room. It was fine. It was clean, other than place on the wall it looks like there used to be something there but it was moved and there was a big hole there. Otherwise it was clean and fine. There was no housekeeping service to the room for the 4 nights we were there. This is was fine- but would have liked to know that upfront - we would have been more conservative with the towels. The 2 small trash cans filled up pretty quickly. However, we requested new towels in the middle of our stay and they were brought to us immediately. Pros: budget friendly, clean, responsive when we asked for towels, large fridge (no microwave), ac worked great, pool looked clean Cons: hallway smelled of something, (room was fine) no housekeeping, absent staff (though reachable by phone), no breakfast Bottom line- it was fine, just adjust expectations

• Rachael (10/5): - Adorable, spacious, clean, rustic & cozy. The walls & doors are thin, so if youre in the lodge, you may hear people coming/going/talking, but we liked it a lot!

• Kimberly (6/5): - I was not able to stay because the bed in the handicap room was very high, the new trend in hotels. I dont know how they expect someone 5'2" with mobility issues to get into a bed 3" off the ground. I can't imagine tying from a wheelchair. The hotel seems to be under construction. The staff were not very knowledgeable about ADA laws. The only reason I gave more than 1 star was because they refunded my money.
• Marilee (6/5): Fine for the price - Very convenient location. The staff was very accommodating. We were upgraded for free to a one bedroom. The fridge in the room was spotlessly clean but bad a horrible smell inside. They moved us to another room. The door to the bathroom was very hard to open and close. It must have been warped.
