Guest Reviews
- Helen (7/5): Happy to have our “issue” resolved. Lovely motel and breakfast. - Location right off the interstate. Easy to locate A glitch at check in when we were exhausted. We were told that one of our 2 reservations had been cancelled due to miscommunication between BW and our booking agency
- Laura (7/5): -
- Kodi (7/5): -
- Debbie (10/5): Hidden Gem in Brazil, Indiana - The friendly front staff in the evening when we arrived, as well as the morning staff when we left were helpful and kind.
The room smelled great, and the beds were comfortable. This is the sixth time we have stayed on the way to our kids and grandkids, and we plan to continue to do so. Nothing ... simply put, a great place to stay.
- nplagge (10/5): Great overnight oasis! - Made a late afternoon reservation when we decided where to stop for the night. Hotel was super clean, front desk welcoming and friendly. Room was just what we needed and very clean. Breakfast was good and and server was cheerful.
- Floyd (9/5): It is a great place to stay!!! Coming back in July2026🙂 - Very nice, staff was really helpful & it’s close to where we was going.
Thanks 😊 Your Breakfast food could be a lot better. We had to eat somewhere else 🤨
- solotravellerCanada (10/5): Good value, a great place for a night stop. - A very pleasant hotel, good value for the price paid. Very clean, a generally quiet location, and courteous staff. I would happily return.
- Renee (8/5): Great stay! - Very clean, well maintained. Great selection for breakfast. Quick check in. Nothing
- Veronica (10/5): -

- Lennean (8/5): Decent value, clean, very convenient to get to and good breakfast - It’s very convenient to get to. Decent value, good breakfast. Everything was almost perfect, but looked like the bathroom had been glossed over in the cleaning process.
- Brandie (10/5): -
- James (9/5): - Staff was very accommodating. I have stage 4 cancer & they extended my check out time until noon. It was very helpful There were 2 pieces of tile missing in the bathroom. Looked a little tacky
- holmes (10/5): - It was wonderful .... quiet, comfortable and the staff was amazing. We will definitely be staying here again. There was nothing we didn't like. It was one of our top hotel experiences and we've been married 58 years.
- Carol (9/5): -

- Caye (10/5): Hotel camino de missuri - El sitio, y resolvieron un pequeño problema según me dijeron Nada
- OfficialUSTraveler (10/5): Nice Quiet Comfortable Room - This is a really quiet hotel. It is right off Interstate 70, although it is not on the beaten path. Bonus, the gas station right next door had gas about 30 cents cheaper than anywhere we had seen all day. The room was nice and clean and quiet.
- judy (8/5): Everything was great except the peopl I. The room above us was talking loud and constant walking in their room at 4:30 i -
- Bobbie (8/5): -
- Caye (10/5): - Por error se me cobró una noche más y me lo devolvieron. Eso está muy bien. Todo fue perfecto
- Hunter (10/5): - The bed was hard
- hamgal (8/5): Nice Place - Convenient to highway. Quiet. Friendly. Clean. Internet was not good, kept losing connection or freezing. Rooms are comfortable size.
- Diego (10/5): -
- Lynn (9/5): -
- Geri (3/5): Not an awful stay but not up to Plus standards - The staff were accommodating and the room was very clean For a Best Western Plus, we expected more Plus. The toilet paper was so thin that it fell apart in your hand, the bathroom was only partially painted and breakfast was disappointing. The hotel was full and there wasn’t enough food for all the guests choosing to eat breakfast.
- Sonja (10/5): Comfortable - Clean
- Corn (9/5): -
- Jackie (10/5): Staff was super friendly and hotel was very clean - Beautiful Nothing
- Chapman (3/5): -
- Margarita (1/5): Not happy - Friendly staff I was very disappointed in my stay at this hotel. I booked here because I have stayed at other best westerns and was very pleased. My daughter and I arrived approximately 8:30-9pm after a long 14 hour driving day. All we wanted was a hot shower and comfy bed to sleep in for the night. The water was barely warm the night we arrived as well as the next morning. The bath tub had a dirty ring around it. And the beds were as hard as sleeping on the ground.
We couldn’t sleep all night. I brought this to the attention of front desk staff and was offered to stay another night. I said absolutely not again. I would like something done for our inconvenience.
- Melissa (8/5): -
- Katy (1/5): Gross, not worth $100. - Good location Room was not clean, prior occupants hair was all over, wet stains all over furniture, neighboring rooms were loud until 1 AM without any intervention from staff
- Kristy (10/5): Loved it.wished we had chosen to stay all three nights - Very clean, well maintained and excellent location Can not think of one thing
- Terri (10/5): Was good - Clean, quiet, comfortable and easy to access
- Carolyn (8/5): 2 nights - Clean, had freezer in frig, big enough, great location, quiet The bed and pillows. Awful. Bed hard and lumpy.
- Charles (9/5): -
- Penny (10/5): -
- J (1/5): Pooor staff, charged card twice.reservationmade and paid for Stated they did not have reservations or the rooms reserve -
- Amanda (4/5): - The room was awful. It was right next to the elevator and that’s all you can hear constantly. The curtains don’t close and let all the light from the outside gas stations in. Would not stay again.
- Chris (10/5): - Very clean rooms, beds are comfortable, the staff was great and the location was great for us.
- Sheila (8/5): Quick stay close to XC Course - This was a quick overnight stay to be close to the Cross Country course in Terre Haute.
Pros: location was very convenient and easily accessed. Room was extremely clean and smelled fresh. Breakfast was amazing, one of the best I’ve had.
Cons: The only staff I interacted with was the clerk at the front desk and he was not very friendly, however did do his job efficiently. Sheets were scratchy and bed was very hard. We could hear the guest above us walking around throughout the night and early morning could hear their tv.
- Gordon (10/5): - Room was very clean and comfortable. Great night’s sleep.
- Timothy (8/5): -
- Anna (10/5): - Very friendly staff
- Janis (6/5): - Wasn’t wild about the comfort of the bed & each one had 4 of the biggest pilllows I’ve ever seen, leaving no room for us. Too big to sleep on or put between my knees. Very low water pressure made showering difficult.
Place was quiet and I loved having a table in the room to play cards on. They had enough towels. That’s rare.
Why have all the hotels started putting duvets on the beds? Especially in the summer. I now have to carry my own light blanket with me everywhere I go.
- Diane (10/5): - Staff was very friendly. Great stop while traveling. No complaints.
- Samantha (6/5): Beds terrible - The room was good and no issues but the beds were so unbelievably uncomfortable none of us got any sleep.
- Sheryl (10/5): - No problems
- Clayton (8/5): - Check in went well room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking was right off the interstate.
- Pat (10/5): - Great breakfast.
- danlJ9393LE (10/5): clean, quiet, convienient - room was very clean, well kept. Hotel was quiet, and facilities were as expected, water was hot and plentiful. staff were friendly, professional, helpful and informative. Breakfast was good as expected from best western. Scrambled eggs, sausage patty, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cold cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice, milk
- SANDRA (8/5): - Under some renovations in bathrooms but very clean
- Madison (7/5): The room was comfortable and acceptable. - Breakfast was good and the room was clean Gap under the door was huge. I could hear everything in the hallway. Doors slam and wake you up.
- Vicki (4/5): - Located next to a busy truck stop. Not much else nearby.
- Tracy (6/5): - There was no bath soap in the shower, and the tub filled up and didn't go down while in the shower
- Dana (8/5): - A couple of restaurants to walk to
- Cindy (10/5): - Property was just what we were looking for.
- Scott (8/5): - Close to highway location. Elevator room was next to our room. Made alot of noise when it was in use.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Very clean everywhere - room & dinning
Food was fresh and area was very clean. Attendant was very attentive. Coffee machine made very fresh and hot coffee. Nice basic selection of food. News was on with weather channel , good info for traveling.
- Denise (8/5): - Great staff, really good breakfast
- Nicole (6/5): - The check in clerk was very friendly and super nice! Our overall stay was good, cleanliness was average the only downfall was there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom.
- Angelia (10/5): - Hotel & room was extra clean. The breakfast was amazing! Have it marked as a 5 star stay in my phone. Definitely recommend.
- RUSSELL (8/5): - Beds were very hard, walls are thin. The place was spotless, very clean!
- Bion (8/5): OK, but… - Food truck in the parking lot, not sure why this was there. It obviously Drew in a whole lot of people who had nothing to do with the hotel.
Strong septic smell in the parking area directly in front of the front door. Something’s going on and it isn’t good.
- william (9/5): - Great staff
- Brenda (8/5): Nice place to stay. - The beds were comfortable and the breakfast had variety and was good. A nice place to stay.
- Flyer35085960760 (4/5): You need to get rid of the food trailer that’s dumping waste into the sewer drain in the parking lot. It smells horrible - Prepare to hold your breath from your car to the lobby. The first thing you notice when you open your car door is the smell of a combination of raw sewage and rancid food. They have a food trailer on the property that is dumping something out of buckets into the storm drain in the parking lot. We saw this a couple times over the weekend and we also saw a person either from the hotel or the food truck dumping out a mop bucket in the sewer as well. It stinks terribly outside.
The air conditioning is very insufficient. It wasn’t until very late night or early morning hours that we could hear the compressor running and actually put out cold air. The rest of the time it was like fan only. The bed clothes were damp and sticky due to the humidity in the room. This has been the worst hotel stay Ive experienced. I admit I don’t do hotels often but this was the nastiest one. And I think the waste from the food truck in the sewer was the icing on the cake.
Just glad I didn’t get anything from the food truck (trailer) because anything that smells that bad can’t be good for you
I’m reporting the food truck to the authorities. I’m sure the epa and health department would have a field day with this
- U6868RGgregoryr (2/5): Disgraceful - First and foremost I would like to apologize for names not mentioned however they were not impressionable nor worth remembering, therefore referenced in this review as, "she, lady or her".
My job booked me a hotel stay with your property in Terre Haute, Indiana, while I underwent training, needless to say, I was from out of town.
On the first morning of my stay, a tall housekeeper with tattoos and piercings entered my room while I was starting a shower with no acknowledgement or notice that someone was coming in. Her excuse was that she thought the room was vacant. This should have been communicated with her on the turn of the day, therfore she could have been informed and my privacy not invaded. The bathroom ceiling was covered in black mold. Now, if her intentions were to clean the room, then that should have been the very first task. Prior to my stay!
The pool began to be locked during operational hours, the rebuttal, "maintenance must unlock it", but
, it never happened on day 2 and 3, when Kaleb was present.
Later that morning after being walked in on, I get a call to my room, from a soft spoken lady with silver hair, tongue ring and a mediocre beach tan, stating that my smoke alarm was going off, while sitting in my room... I am neither hearing nor seeing impaired, therefore I would have noticed and could have reported that to the hotel manager, because if it were indeed a true fire and not a false alarm, all hotel guests safety should've been accounted for. Instead, in her arrogant tone, she threatened having the fire deparment showing up. I then invited her to check for herself, she showed up with the same tall housekeeper, looking around my room as if I were lying. About 4 hours later, I get another call from the lady with the same question about the alarm, I then professionally addressed her to figure out what the issue was, she instantly led with, " I didnt think you were smoking in your room". That fact that she assumed thats what I was concerned about, let me know she was not acting with integrity. I have never been diagnosed with illiteracy, so I am very capable of understanding a non-smoking policy and symbols enforcing said rule.
Due to the apparent profiling because I was the only African American or person of color staying staying there, I decided to reach out to my corporate office demanding an immediate transfer to another hotel. To fathom what else could.possibly occur during my stay gave me anxiety and grew fearful and was unable to rest and feel safe.
Hospitality was failed by your staff that failed me.. respectfully.
Not all of the 4 nights I spent, at your property were bad. The ONLY staff member that explemplifed REAL customer service was Kaleb. He is the epitome of what humanisim is. Whenever he was on duty, he greeted me with a smile, not only did he take the time to learn my name, but acknowledged that I was on a work trip and gave exceptional recommendations.
I will never stay at another one of your properties again nor would I recommend it.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Not an over the top amazing place, but not the worst either. A few minor things that may prevent some from staying here but not others. It was decently clean...not perfect, our toilet had a ring and the sheets had detergent stains. But otherwise seemed clean. It looked freshly painted and updated. The bed was comfortable. There were mold spots in the bathroom. But the staff was very nice and the breakfast was great! We'd stay here again.
- Sally (10/5): Pretty darn good - The room was clean..staff was nice..and breakfast was great..
- Laura (8/5): Updated - Very clearly recently updated, but some of the details were missed. Ice machines, new paint was still on some fixtures . The breakfast concept was good but the quality was poor. The staff were extremely helpful and the food truck on the property was excellent
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very easy access to the property. It's a very new property and not much around it.
- Joanna (8/5): - Clean, spacious and great coffee/espresso machine. Friendly staff.
- Teresa (9/5): - It was very clean and inviting the paint. Color choice was awesome. Great location. The cork crew checked us in was very professional, friendly, courteous, and helpful.
- Trisha (10/5): - I liked how quick check in is and that they have a menu for what is going to be at breakfast b
- Sandra (4/5): Disappointed - Good shower The TV didn't work and all I could was watch 1 show because the remote wouldn't work. No body wash in shower.
- Cathy (8/5): - The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good. The room was clean. unfortunately the parking lot smelled like sewer gas and our vehicle absorbed some of the smell and took a while to wear off.
- Cathy (8/5): - The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were great!
- Sarah (6/5): Uh… maybe ok - Check in was great - fast and friendly.
A/C very noisy all night
Mattress too stiff for our liking
Breakfast nice, food hot, dining area very clean.
- Amanda (9/5): Nice please - Easy access to restaurants and the highway The walls are very thin and we could hear people talking on the floor above us
- Kevin (10/5): One Night - Nice place. Good condition. The room was clean, the beds comfortable. But what set this place apart was TWICE, someone working volunteered to go out of their way to make our stay better. We loved the customer service.
- Twila (10/5): Exceptional -
- Allison (10/5): - This property was very clean and rooms smelled fresh not musty like most hotels.
- Duane (8/5): - Friendly welcome and clean room. Not the most attractive exit-ramp location, but convenient for travel needs. Would have given five stars, especially considering the manager permitted my wife to check out a bit late while I attended a required meeting, and the check-in receptionist even verified it was in the booking notes, but the staff the next morning persistently called and knocked on the door multiple times before and after standard checkout time, despite the notation and permission to stay longer. When I arrived (at 12:15) and questioned the front desk staff, instead of apologizing for their intrusive behavior, she argued in defense of their procedures and said "I don't care" what impression it made on us as the guests. Left a bitter final taste that vanquished the original sweet welcome. Unlikely we will book this hotel again. Manager needs to discuss tact and best practices with staff.
- Bill (10/5): - Great staff, clean room
- lovestotravel45133 (10/5): Great Hotel to get a good nights rest on the way to next destination! - Check in was a breeze. Hot breakfast included, food truck available and restaurants near by. Great stopping point between many destinations. Soap dispenser on wall in bathrooms a plus! No bar soap. Shampoo and body wash in showers.
- John (4/5): - The property was clean.
The internet did not work in our room 4.5 of the 5 days we stayed. Our keys had to get remade each day, unknown reason.
- Sanjay (8/5): Very good -
- Timothy (10/5): - Excellent hotel. Kudos to the staff
- Ronald (10/5): - Great staff that were very helpful!
- Phensri (8/5): - Very nice hotel will stay there again
- Donald (6/5): Pleasant - Booking. Com didn’t tell them I requested ground floor Handicap! And paid for 2 beds Bottom floor. And not handicapped one bed is what we got. No blind on window. Some man walked by the window Several times. I pinned the curtain SHUT!!
- Dustin (5/5): Passable -
- Debbie (9/5): Clean, excellent breakfast, good value -
- Sarunas (4/5): - Neighbors were loud until 2 am, had to call multiple times to the front desk
