- White (10/5): We loved staying there -

- Rayla (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (3/5): Bait and switch. No one told us hotel was closing its doors next day and amenities were being cut - The whole hotel was closing the day day we checked out. Supplies were limited. 1 key card, no hand soap for bathroom, they put hand soap in a small plastic cup you would put ketchup in from a fast food place. Said ran out of hand soap and hotel was closing its doors next day. Pool was closed(website said it would be open by May 23rd. We were there end of June. Cable was no longer available for tv. They did not inform us hotel was closing the next day and were short on supplies ie no hand soap in bathroom, cable tv not available, pool closed indefinitely
- Anonymous (4/5): Very disappointed - The guy who checked us in was very friendly and the bed was comfortable The TV was on the blitz. When we called the front desk they said rhere was a problem with the provider. It was weird that they had a typed sign at the front desk about the TV. My husband has trouble relaxing before bed without the TV. The worst thing was one of the blackout shades was broken and couldn’t be closed so our room was lit up all night and the morning sunlight really made it too light to sleep.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Located next to Western Kentucky University. Close to many restaurants, not walkable, but a 4 minute drive to Rafferty’s great prime rib sandwich, large menu. N/A
- TeessideRoseMac (10/5): Very nice hotel - This is a great hotel not far from the historic downtown district. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was very nice and parking nearby was convenient. This hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the historic district and we enjoyed walking to the old square for meals and to visit the bars.

- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Front desk staff was wonderful, room was clean and spacious. Good location.
- Margaret (10/5): Wonderful - Location
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (9/5): Good location and very nice hotel - Location, decor, staff, parking, breakfast all very good The only negative is the temperature of public areas was too cool for our liking
- Carrie (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gwendolyn (2/5): Found out the place was closing on 30 June for whatever reason, they may as well considered themselves shut down while I - Water pressure for shower was good.
The lady working when I checked in was very kind.
The gentleman working when I checked out was very kind. There was no secure WiFi, there was no restaurant/bar as advertised, could only watch tv through apps on my phone (and that didn’t work).
- Brandy (8/5): Excellent stay, middle of college, but spacious and nice - Breakfast and coffee was phenomenal, free cookies and water in the lobby, gym was nice and pool was heated. TV glitched and didn’t work, there was a sign in lobby letting guests know.
- Andree (7/5): Good -
- Sunshine23540020025 (10/5): Great hotel stop as we drove northward - They were very accomodating to give special parking for my sprinter van as it was too high (10 ft) to fit in the parking ramp. The ramp was right next to hotel and lots of parking. Breakfast was good. This hotel is right next to the Western Kentucky Univ alumni center. It sits on frat row but we went when school was out so it was very quiet. There's a great Mexican restaurant that's a 2 min walk from hotel.
- Peter (9/5): Location can't be beat for the price! - Breakfast was great. Very nice variety and always refreshed. Beds in the room were comfortable. This is my second time staying at this hotel. Both times the cable stations have trouble coming in. I could not watch local or cable channels on the TV. I tried streaming to the TV from my mobile device, but got frustrated and gave up. It would be great if Hyatt Place figured out the TV issues.
- Janefrancescecilia (10/5): Wonderful stay! - My stay at the Hyatt Place in Bowling Green was truly a wonderful experience. The reason why it was so enjoyable is because of the people that work there. All of the staff couldn’t have been any nicer. They graciously helped when needed, they were kind and friendly. It was amazing to me to see so many smiling and helpful faces. It truly makes a world of difference and can make or break an stay and this certainly did make a wonderful stay! Also my room was spotlessly clean and that means a lot to me also. I was so happy about staying there.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monsalve (9/5): Superb - Clean. pet friendly. And a good service place The shower is tiny and the cabinet door for the refrigerator is difficult to close
- Larry (9/5): I would rate stay 9 out of 10 . would gladly stay again . - excellent breakfast
- George (10/5): Exceptional - The breakfast was the worst we have at any hotel we have stayed at. Cold and limited
- Leah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- hoony76 (10/5): Overall Excellent Experience - Room was very clean and staffs were very kind. They used to have fresh apples in the lobby to grab for the guests, but somehow the basket was empty this time. We had a bad tornado during our stay and I think that is why they did not serve fresh fruits for breakfast, but other than that everything was great.
- professorroyhinkley (8/5): Nice place: the TVs are out (and haven't worked for weeks) - Overall, a nice place to stay. The positive: rooms were large and clean, and lots of outlets where you want them. Bathrooms were clean and great water pressure.
Negatives: The TVs were out - just walls of static. It was mentioned on checkin, and at checkout, they had a sign up saying that your option was to not stay, but they weren't going to do anything about it. Note - reviews from 2 weeks ago say the same thing, so they have been out for weeks.
The soap had a really tough time rinsing off. Yuck.
Parking was in a parking deck. Weird neighborhood; near a college campus, but surprisingly little around the area. There was a Mexican restaurant within walking distance, but not much more.
- 563larryt (6/5): Is ok hotel. - Hotel is ok. A little dated. Staff seemed unhappy, especially the ones working breakfast. Hotel could use an upgrade. Was an air of unhappiness throughout our stay, with staff. Maybe something had happened that we were not aware of. Not bad hotel, something just seemed off.
- wesleyh370 (10/5): Great experience - stayed here for a softball tournament at WKU. Closest hotel to WKU athletic facilities. Can be a congested area when school is in session. Wonderful full breakfast--better than any free breakfast I've encountered. Parking is in an attached parking deck at no cost. Hotel super clean but some may not like the location on a college campus.
- 139christier (10/5): Girls Trip - It was very clean, customer service was exceptional, the rate was great, location was great and many great restaurants were close by. It's easy to navigate where you are going from here. Great place to stay for a trip to relax or shop and go out to eat. I would absolutely go back and stay again.
- Greg (10/5): convenient and like the on campus vibe - room layout parking garage safe area na
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional - Well maintained hotel with a comfy bed. Parking was weird. It's right in the middle of a college campus (I wasn't aware of that when I made the reservation)
- dennisaK9926AA (4/5): I will not stay here again. - Pillows were cheap, towels and sheets were rough And had a musty smell. TV service did not work, TV casting froze as well and unusable. Front desk said it was due to rain, NOT storms regular rain. Completely untrue. I had been in the satellite tv business for 17 years and know that was not the cause. Did not work the night before, middle of the night or morning of check out. Offered nothing of a discount even though I paid full price for a room that did not have services I paid for working. I could watch my streaming service on my IPad with no interruption at all but Casting to TV constantly froze. Due to weather also according to front desk.
- Gibson (10/5): Exceptional - close to the University We didn't stay longer
- David (9/5): Excellent service and clean rooms. - The staff at the front desk were friendly and very helpful in answering questions. We saw a drug deal made at the fraternity house across the street.
- 784ab (10/5): Excellent Staff - The employees at this hotel make you feel like part of their family. Olympia, Ashley, Nick, and Joshua made us feel like the most important guests they had ever had. They greeted us by name even though the hotel was full and they had many guests to remember. They anticipated our every need and provided EXCELLENT service!! We will continue to return to this hotel because of the amazing staff.
- BBR_13 (10/5): Pleasantly surprised - Very impressed! Clean and welcoming. Nick and Alonzo at the front desk were great and very helpful during a difficult situation. Thank you both so very much. Room was very clean. Breakfast was better than most hotel breakfasts that we’ve had. Did not care for the Mexican restaurant next door.
- Becky (1/5): If you want to sleep, do not stay here. If you want to party on a hard bed this is your place. - Location was down the hill from the concert auditorium where I watched my granddaughter perform. I was able to walk to the hotel after.
Room was very clean. I also liked the shampoo I asked for a quiet room on the top floor when I booked. The lady that checked me in lied and stated that all the rooms where very quiet, that it was a quiet hotel. She booked me into a room not on the top floor and next to the elevator. All night long college kids were partying, slamming doors, running down the hallways. I listened to 3 separate conversations about vomit. A lot of older men were there picking up and partying and sleeping with young college ladies also. I got no sleep due to noise and very hard beds.
- Laura (9/5): Very comfortable and clean. Staff friendly - Convenient Restaurant very limited
- Linenko (8/5): Very good - The location and room were awesome. The pool was advertised, however was closed. This was NOT advertised. I booked for the pool.
- bigdoginindy (2/5): Should be called a Days Inn - Stayed here about 6months ago and it hasn’t changed for the good. Again, the housekeeping is lacking. Failed to provide housekeeping every day like they are supposed to again, photo enclosed. Stayed there the first week of April when they had numerous tornadoes in the area and flooding. They had no local tv to determine where the bad weather was, photo enclosed. Asked the manager on shift about the lack of local television and when it would be fixed, he said WEEKS. This property should be sold and take the Hyatt name off because it sure doesn’t have the amenities that any other Hyatt has
- Stefan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emre (2/5): Spacious but problematic - Spacious room, nice garage right next door Extremely loud room. Pet fee was not mentioned prior to check in anywhere. Breakfast was bad. Expected more from a Hyatt Place
- Benjamin (6/5): Pleasant - Rooms very comfortable Tv not working and wi fi dropping all the time
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional -
- Przysiecki (7/5): Good -
- Dawn (9/5): Superb -
- tracybC13JH (10/5): Best Visit I Have Had for Awhile! - Very nice hotel and exceptionally clean. The staff was very friendly and accounting. The room was comfy and the breakfast was super yummy with many choices. It is right on campus! I highly recommend staying here if ever you are in Bowling Green Kentucky!
- Lionel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mccormick (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean with big rooms. Fair price. Full bar available with an excellent Mexican restaurant next door.
- Wendy (10/5): We love to stay here when bringing our daughter to register to attend WKU. - We loved that there was a variety of food to choose from. Nothing
- Ioannis (10/5): Exceptional - very friendly and helpful, well done to the entire hotel team
- Geyssel (10/5): - N/A
- Kim (10/5): This is definitely our go to hotel in Bowling Green. - Convenient to WKU Football game. Love the employees there and especially front desk. Ashley at front was so sweet and accommodating to our needs. She went over and beyond after our very long drive there on Thursday night, April 10th around 7:30pm Loved everything
- Christina (10/5): Great Stay.. nice area - Easy check in and out with friendly staff. Our room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was better than some locations and better presentation overall. Quiet area with lots of restaurants and stores around. Easy free parking in Connecting garage. We had a great stay with no issues.
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hilary (6/5): Pleasant -
- Linda (10/5): Will visit again - Good eggs Didn't get to try anything else, family in a hurry will
- Christina1119 (10/5): Great Stay - After reading reviews .. after this was booked months ago.. made me a little unsure of where I put us.
Check in was easy & friendly staff checking in and out.
Room was big with a sofa & partial room divider. The room and bathroom were clean and quiet area. Not crazy about frosted rolling glass bathroom door. Only complaint really. Free parking in the connecting garage. Breakfast was very good. Much better presentation than most hotels. Eggs with fixings if you want to make an omelette. Sausage, potatoes, French bread strips (those were good) oatmeal, fruit & yogurt, cereal & some other items. There’s also some items in an area next to it where you can buy drinks, water, soft drinks, etc. as well as some other types of pastries.
Great set up really.
We had a great stay, area around hotel is nice & appears to be college town area. Lots of restaurants & stores not far away.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pierce (9/5): Superb -
- Sandy (7/5): Good -
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional -
- DeJuana (4/5): - There was a sign stating that the TV service was unavailable. Supposedly we had to follow instructions to scan QR code. Front desk clerk never told me all I had to do was go to the TV option and I could watch regular channels 7 and up! Housekeeping was on the hallway vacuuming at like 8am and slamming doors. This definitely wasn't a peaceful stay!
- Johnson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carmen (8/5): Very good -
- michellemI855TD (2/5): I give zero stars for this Hyatt - this is the worst run hotel I've ever had the misfortune of reserving a night with. It was so bad, I have decided to not even use Hyatt Hotels ever again in the future. The front desk employees, office manager and GM were non-responsive & rude. It's clearly a chain issue, because I've never experienced anything like it with other chains before. We travel alot and never have problems, but when we do, it's always nice if the management cares. These people do not care at all. I had a review with specifics, but Trip Advisor wouldn't accept it. Please take my word for it. There are better locations in this city, one next to the Corvette plant was so much more accommodating, less expensive and had nice folks.
- Robin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nancy (8/5): - Terrific rooms. Good breakfast. Lobby needed new seating. Outdoor pool. Nice exercise room.
- lindseywQ6522RB (10/5): Best hotel in Bowling Green - Proximity to campus is amazing, facilities are spacious and clean, rooms are honestly much bigger than hotels and feel like small suites, rates are very affordable, very accomodating to a large group (I was traveling with a school group), breakfast had a lot of options, friendly and kind staff
- Shawna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fischer (3/5): Poor -
- Deepak (10/5): - Very clean and perfect location for stadium and Caves
- Dippold (9/5): Superb -
- Karch72 (8/5): Best location right next to WKU - Stayed here as we had a college visit scheduled at WKU and the location of the hotel is as close as you can get to the campus. Rooms were big, clean and there is a small area that had a pull out bed. Check in was fine, but the woman working the front desk had very little personality. So much for Southern hospitality. Parking is available for free next door in the covered garage with in and out privileges. Breakfast was good and had many options. We were located facing the fraternities, but luckily we stayed on a Monday night so there was no noise. My only negatives were that the pillows were rock hard and there was only 1 USB port in the room. Otherwise a decent stay.
- Maureen (9/5): Superb -
- adamy557 (8/5): Nice Stay - Good location to mutiple food and drinks options, and overall a nice stay, it is in college town, but wasn't noisy at all. Staff was very helpful and friendly, had a good breakfast with options, and also had a little bar area. And also was a quick walk to more food and drinks options, most of which being between 5 - 25 minutes
- carlos (10/5): - Close to everything, especially if you're in town for WKU events
- Vanderyt (8/5): Very good -
- Alan (10/5): Excellent!!!! - That we could bring our dogs with no issues Everything was wonderful
- Martha (10/5): - Hospitality at its best very friendly clean housekeeping we’re all very nice and helpful!
- Trish (10/5): - Great location to WKU!
- christopher (8/5): - All good
- Lisa (3/5): People were nice room was clean basic amenities didn't work. - People were nice. The Cable TV didn't work they asked you up front to stream they know it is a problem which is unacceptable. I want to come to the room and turn on the TV I don't stream. One of the blinds in the room was broken spent the whole night with lights in my face will never stay here again.
- carlos (10/5): - Great place to stay near WKU
- Tmc (8/5): Very good - Pretty good breakfast. Close to WKU Arena. Covered Free Parking. Comfy beds. Property wide problems with TV during our stay
- Coates (2/5): Very poor - The breakfast Well our room wasn't properly cleaned, it was an old soap paper inside the shower mat. Our tv never worked from when we checked in till we checked out. I'll never book here again
- James (8/5): - Hotel was lovely except it was Superbowl night and tv in common area and room didn't work. I guess they eventually got it to work in the common area but we ate at the Mexican restaurant near the parking garage. Our tv in the room never worked. Hotel was super nice otherwise.
- Danya (10/5): Will stay every time I’m in BG - Everything
- J64ZHashleyh (10/5): Exceeded expectations! - First off - rooms are big and clean! The staff was amazing! The whole place felt very friendly - the front desk, the kitchen staff for breakfast and the cleaning staff as you passed in the hall. Hyatt is doing something right! Shout out to Nick at the front desk who made our group feel welcome! Also, loved the location. The Mexican restaurant right around the corner is sooooo good and inexpensive!
- carlos (8/5): - Good place... however, their TVs have not been working for a couple of weeks now ..they suggested casting from phone or laptop but quality was terrible
- sharonsZ1886IG (10/5): Excellent - staff was outstanding - Fantastic staff! Front desk staff all the way to the room cleaners and breakfast staff were smiley, happy and welcoming. Hotel exceeded expectations as well as staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking was free, though ramp is not attached but only a 50 or so foot walk. Breakfast was great, including eggs, sausage or bacon, and breakfast potatoes while we were there.
- James (10/5): Great rate, great place and great service from the staff. - Great location next to the university. Free parking in the attached deck was a great benefit. Being able to walk out the side door to WK El Maz for a great Mexican dinner was awesome as well. Everything was great.
- Ms.deb (4/5): The hotel from hell! - Worst experience in my 66 yrs of life. Would have done better at a Motel 6. Starting with parking the garage was a short distance from the hotel. This is fine for younger people but for seniors it's a chore to go through the colder weather to get to your vehicle. The directions that are given to you from the hotel staff was confusing so getting from the garage to the hotel is more than a chore. Once at our door to our room the key malfunctioned. So it was back down to the lobby. The room on appearance was fine but this is deceiving the TV has intermittent signal loss every few minutes so watching TV was stressful, only three channels were available. The bed was hard and made a sound when you sat on it. Obtained a blanket from the closet it had a whole in it. Not all the outlets in the room were functional.
- Shawn (10/5): Highly Recommended: Clean, Comfortable, and Fantas - From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the overall cleanliness and modern feel of the room. The decor was fresh and up-to-date, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. The bed was incredibly cozy, and I slept soundly throughout the night.
The room itself was spotless, with everything in perfect condition. It was clear that the hotel takes pride in maintaining its facilities. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the well-stocked amenities to the thoughtfully arranged furniture that maximized the space.
The service was also outstanding. The employees were friendly, approachable, and always available to help with any questions or requests. It really felt like they cared about making my stay enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend staying at the Hyatt Place BG, for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and modern place to stay with excellent service. I’ll definitely be back!
