• vanda (9/5): We had a wonderful stay at the Vincent Hotel. - We had a beautiful room with a very pretty Maltese balcony overlooking the street. The hotel has been recently renovated so very fresh. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel has a courtyard for breakfast which we liked very much as well as indoor seating. The food and service of a high standard. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem. Location was perfect for Valetta and in a quiet spot. The breakfast was a set menu with various courses (with choices). All very delicious and great value if wanting to have everything on offer and the time too. Personally we prefer buffet menu when on holiday as usually in a rush to head off sightseeing. There is a choice of including breakfast in the room rate or having on the day if you prefer. This is not a criticism just a constructive comment.

Located in a quiet part of the main Town away from the noise and busy bustling restaurants and bars. If you don’t like steep walks up n down the streets then I personally wouldn’t recommend it, mind you it is Valletta so it’s something you’ll have to encounter.
• G H (10/5): Small quaint but quality hotel - From the moment we stepped into the hotel we were overwhelmed by the friendliness and service. Taking our bags to the room and offering advice on getting the best from our visit. The hotel was immaculately clean the small numbers of staff worked hard to provide a huge array of tasty food and drink for breakfast but also cleaning the rooms and changing towels and sheets daily. Even though the reception desk wasn’t always occupied when I had a minor problem a phone call to the given number the manager immediately arranged for the problem to be fixed.

Das zweite, kleinere Zimmer hatte die Klimaanlage direkt über dem Bett und musste deshalb nachts ausgeschaltet werden. Bei fast 40 Grad war das Zimmer deshalb zu warm für einen guten Schlaf.

• Son (8/5): - The property is very close to many attractions and restaurants. However, I got stuck in the elevator - I had to call the hotel management who then sent somebody over; also left some messages on Expedia but no answer from the hotel. I also activated the alarm in the elevator and the elevator maintenance company could speak a little of English. I yelled out and kept tapping on the elevator door until another guest helped me open from the outside. I decided to take the stairs after this incident and when I checked out - it is not easy to maneuver a 22-inch bag along the spiral stairs. The hotel did not follow up with me at all after this incident. Breakfast is decent. The room is spacious. The AC works very well. The water leaks out a bit as the shower pan is too shallow. Hot water is hit or miss, but I stayed here in summer, so no hot water is needed per se. As a side note, on the way back when I had a transit in Paris-CDG, the elevator to get to the lower floor to hop on the inter-terminal shuttle bus also did not open. However, it magically opened after I tried the door-opening button three times - very odd to be stuck in the elevator twice in two different places in 24 hours!

I had a minor inconvenience with the plumbing, but the manager checked instantly, and they upgraded us to a superior room practically immediately.

It is a very unique property. It is in an older building so things like electrical outlets were in strange areas. The staff and food were excellent. The location is quiet but within walking distance of all the action. Would recommend and stay here again.

• Ludek (8/5): Convenient and a little different - A laid back place in the heart of the old Valletta. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was a bit dark. It probably would have been fine in the summer but not so great in December. It wasn't a big issue.

Room by reception was noisy from location with guests passing late at night/going to breakfast a disturbance. Would be good to put signs up to remind guests that is a guests’ room so they can be more considerate. Not much interaction with staff during the stay - both check in/out done without interaction.

• Lesley (4/5): - The Araba Room. Stayed for a weekend in October 2024. Looks great in the pictures however in reality it is a damp, smelly, dark, below street level, boutique cave just off the courtyard, and right next to the courtyard toilets. The paint is peeling off the ceiling due to the dampness, and I even had a visit from a cockroach. My immediate request for another room was met with a “sorry, we’re full”. My complaint and request for a refund or discount was met with silence initially, but when Expedia intervened a discount off my next trip was offered - which was derisory and laughable. A hotel room is meant to be a place to relax after a day of sightseeing in Valletta, not a place to suffer in humid, unhygienic conditions. Unfortunately, I had prepaid for my trip, otherwise I would have left. Caveat emptor.

• David (3/5): Would not recommend this to anyone. - The ONLY thing I could find positive about the room was the location. Close to the Malta Experience and the center of town. This space is NOT designed for Seniors. Our room was between the 2nd and 3rd floor and required dragging luggage up and down. While the room was "acceptable" it had only a very small window in the bathroom, the AC dripped on the side table in the 'living room'. When we arrived, at about 5 in the afternoon, there was NOT any staff and it was a self check in. The door code to get in didn't work and fortunately another guest opened the door for us. When I called the number listed, the person who answered was rude and seemed put out that I was asking questions about the space. Finding the room (located between two floors) was difficult and very frustrating. Had I not prepaid for the room I would have left immediately and move somewhere else. When I 'checked out' I asked why we didn't get our water bottle refilled each day and was told we had to ask for that EVERY DAY at the desk. Well, as this was never explained to us it didn't do any good to learn we had to ask as we were leaving. Furthermore the gentleman who responded to my question was very rude. So I shook off the dust from my shoes and left as fast as possible.
• Andrew (9/5): A nice boutique hotel within a short distance of the tourist spots in Valetta. - The Vincent is located in the old town, down the hill from the main sights. We had the 'Napoleon' room which is large with a good attached bathroom. Breakfast every morning (we stayed for 6 nights) was good. The room's overhead light was more for atmosphere than functionality, and needed a higher wattage bulb. The only other concern was the key card, which seemed to only work for about 2 days. While getting in the front door wasn't an issue as their was a key pad, it was a different matter if the key pad lost its effectiveness when staff weren't available.

We stayed in the Mediterranea Suite which was lovely but the shower was strangely situated and not well planned for the amount of water it produced.
• Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - I absolutely loved my stay at The Vincent Boutique Suites and would highly recommend staying here. Valletta is tiny, so although you’re not directly in the thick of it, you are only a fifteen minute walk from the Main Gate and bus station. Personally I adored the quieter and more residential location. Just around the corner there is a convenience store (but if you’re heading back from town buy your water and munchies in Spar as it’s a lot cheaper) as well as several bars and cafés. The hotel is converted from an impressive old palazzo, so yes, parts of the building are a little worn and crumbly, but this just adds to its charm and in no way impacts on the quality of your stay. I stayed in the Mediterranea Suite - which was absolutely gorgeous, super comfortable, and incredibly spacious. I loved the colours and the theme of the room. The suite also contains a kitchenette, with a fridge and an espresso machine. The bathroom has a dual shower (which was superb) and gorgeous smelling toiletries are provided. I also loved that my room had a traditional Maltese balcony looking out on to the street. Breakfast was excellent. Although there wasn’t masses on offer, there was more than enough to fuel the hungriest of guests. All the staff I met were lovely and very friendly. Reception isn’t always manned, but they provide you with contact details upon arrival for in case of emergencies. You can also access the building via a keypad if you should lose your access card. They also provide a luggage storage facility. I will be recommending The Vincent Boutique Suites to all my friends and family.

• John (7/5): Good - Stylish place. Good location. Good breakfast. Poor sound insulation. Every morning the kid next door grizzled while her mum(?) shouted at her. Housekeeping seemed to do the least they could. For example milk for a morning cuppa was not replenished and by the time we got back from sightseeing there was no one on site to sort it out. Also we had water the first day but none subsequently.
• Susan (10/5): Great place to stay in Valletta . - Having a living as well as bedroom was great. Breakfast exceptional, loved the artistic endeavours in each room Our air con leaked but was rectified next morning.

• Liam (8/5): - Excellent customer service, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was buffet style with hot and cold selections, all very nice. In very close proximity to the main shopping area, many restaurants and ferry ports to Sliema and Gozo. Only downside we had, was our fridge didn't work. Didn't bother us though as we were only there 3 days. They may have fixed it for us but we never mentioned it.

As we were travelling from another hotel in Malta, I messaged to advise of our arrival time and the hotel manager got our room ready earlier! We were presented with a map and had sights highlighted. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of choice! I think it would help if the breakfast items had description cards

• Eileen (10/5): - Clean and spacious room. Comfortable double bed. Friendly staff and central. Only slight issue with the electrics in the room the day we were leaving. Sorted in 10 minutes. I recommend this hotel!
• Carolyn (10/5): Amazing place with lots of charm and fantastic service - My room was amazing - so much history and charm. (I think I might have received an upgrade so I was in the loft bedroom, which was very spacious and had a full kitchen). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Location was good - in lower Valletta so it was nice and quiet at night but only a short walk to the busy area. My room was a bit noisy from reception, but when they left for the day I didn’t hear anything.
• Anais (10/5): Me and my partner love this place, such a lovely hotel, breakfast was really good with a bit of everything (only downsid - Great location, amazing staff, clean rooms. Our room had an adjoining door so we could hear everything our neighbours did, including boiling a kettle, going to the toilet at 5am etc.

• Jennifer (8/5): Great location - The hotel is in a beautiful old building. The staff on the desk were students and were helpful. The breakfast let’s this place down. Our room was inbetween floors 2 and 3 which was fine for us but for people with poor mobility maybe consider the fact you need to either go up or down a narrow winding staircase. Very very good location.
• Juliana (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was well maintained, very modern and stylish. Almost in the heart of the city which makes it easy to reach any desired location. Not all wall sockets were functional and the sound isolation was dull.
• Verified traveler (8/5): First time in Malta, lovely boutique hotel. - Lovely family run hotel, comfortable quiet rooms, only13 in the whole hotel, full of character. Offered a glass of iced water on arrival which was greatly appreciated. Reception closes about 4.00pm, but guests are given code to the door. If arriving at the bus station it is flat straight work through the main street in Valetta, but then it goes downhill and then you turn righted go up hill a short distance. If you have heavy bags with you, order from Bolt, or similar on-line. They are cheap and plentiful and the drivers energetic.
• Kamila (10/5): Great boutique hotel - We had the loft room and it was great and very spacious. It was very charming and the stylistic choices were great. Cleaning was done everyday and the breakfast was sufficient. Quick WiFi and air con available. We also got few leaflets and discounts for various Maltese attractions. There was no issue with late self check in. With the amount of space in the loft room it would be great if they added a washing machine. Also please note this room would not be suitable for customers with certain disabilities as it has stairs and no lift.
• Martina (10/5): I recommend! - The hotel was amazing, in a very good position. The room was perfectly clean, the staff very kind, especially Boyan, that helped us with everything! I totally recommend this hotel for your holidays in Malta!
• Andy (8/5): Despite the grumbles, it was a very pleasant stay. Would we return? Yes, and probably will at the same time next year. - Wonderful character, comfortable, very helpful and pleasant staff, good breakfast. General maintenance could be better. Getting scalded every few seconds in the shower wasn't much fun. Broken/missing bedside lights is poor. The shower door didn't fit, but a simply adjustment would make it perfect. A constantly running tap is poor, as is black mould in the corner of the shower. The vent pipe on the balcony should be extended above roof level to avoid bad smells.

Great breakfast in the morning My room was just behind reception and was a little noisy in the mornings with staff talking and people going for breakfast
• Verified traveler (8/5): We loved Vincent in Valletta!! - We had 2 rooms - Natura Suite and Ta Rozi. Both absolutely fine. Only complaint was the need for large cups/mugs for tea. Espresso cup works for coffee but not tea!! Staff were very helpful and attentive. Excellent breakfast choices in lovely courtyard setting or indoors.
