• GG (4/5): - 私以外のコメントも参考にして下さい。似たような意見になってます。 泊まるのに注意して下さい。女性の一人の従業員は嘘をつきます。これが一番の問題です。（一人の女性は感じが良いです。男性も良いです。） ■現地を見て2つ紹介された部屋を予約。指定の金額で振り込みを行い荷物を持って30分後に来るともうその部屋は2つとも売れたとのこと。その後、違うボロい部屋に誘導された。結局　　その部屋は誰も来ず。見せるための部屋? ■エアコンが動かないと文句を言う。使い方を確認したら、そもそも壊れているらしく、彼女はチェックもせず、即　私をエアコンが動く部屋に移動させた。完全な確信犯。 ■wifiは、接続出来るが、インターネットに接続出来ない不安定な状態。結局　電波だけ飛んでいる感じで使えない。インターネットを使う予定のない人は問題ない。 ■プールは、水の交換がされていない。泳ぐのは無理。病気になりそう。 ■蚊が異常に多いい。殺虫剤持参が必要。 蚊帳はあるが小さく破けており有効的では無い。 ■清潔感が無い。その事は多くのコメントに記載されていた。 ■静かな点は良かった。ガーデンも整備され、プールも掃除され水も入れ替えれば、庭先でゆっくり過ごせると思う。改善すれば良い宿になりると思う。朝食も美味しかった。 以上

• ANGEL I (4/5): HOTELITO APARENTE Y ECONÓMICO, PERO CAÓTICO. - Elegimos este alojamiento para una única noche en Livingstone por estar cerca del centro (el día de llegada visitaríamos las Victoria en Zinbabwe, noche en Le Patino y al día siguiente visitaríamos las Victoria lado Zambia). El taxista que nos llevó desde Kazungula (frontera Botswana-Zambia) conocía el hotelito, que por fuera tiene buena pinta. Nos dieron una habitación en el piso primero (la escalera peligrosa con escalones desiguales). Llave magnética ¡pero en qué estado!. Habitación amplia con cama grande (colchón duro y sábanas aceptables). Aire acondicionado, nevera, ventilador, mueble y TV con canales internacionales. Nivel de limpieza mejorable. Regresamos de Zimbabwe, muy cansados hacia las 7 de la tarde. Ducha, fruta y a la cama. El baño, bastante castigado, tenía lavabo, inodoro, ventana exterior y una ducha muy aparente (con mampara y todo) pero nada efectiva ¡fue la primera vez que me duché "a cucharadas" de tan poca agua que salía! Las toallas bien. El problema surgió hacia las 10, cuando se apagó el aire acondicionado (y la nevera, y las luces, y el wifi...) Pregunté en recepción y me dijeron que Zambia no produce suficiente electricidad y que todos los días cortan la luz por la noche. Solo quedó un enchufe para bajos consumos (móvil, ventilador...). Un desastre. El desayuno al día siguiente, normalito. El precio, muy económico y pagado con tarjeta al hacer la reserva. Creo que elegiríamos otro lugar para dormir.

• Tommi (8/5): Budget lodge with friendly staff - The staff were friendly and nice, Bridget especially :) The small breakfast was tasty. Our room had enough space, though it was a bit outdated, you get what you pay for :D Mosquito repellent and mosquito net were provided, though we didn't see any mosquitos on our trip. Bathroom was ok. Our room was cleaned every day. Wi-fi was a bit slow but worked most of the time. There's also a little pool by the main building to cool you off after exploring the area. We can recommend this lodge for budget travelers who appreciate friendly staff and want to have a breakfast to kick off their day!

Improvements are required in terms of protecting customers from mosquitoes. The windows should be fitted with insect nets. The swimming pool requires painting. The bath towels require replacements. There is need to git a full body mirror. Other wise the rooms are very well kept. The workers are extremely friendly. Breakfast needs improvement

Shower pressure was a little weak and the bathroom was not the cleanest. Good wi-fi with a fan and a/c in the room. Would recommend for a basic stay in Livingstone.

• Sean (6/5): 1 night in LePatino - Spent 1 night in LePatino. Great service and good breakfast. Just a few blocks off the main road. Nice and quiet with a devent pool and a nice breal fast in the morning.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Budget hotel at a great value - This hotel was very basic, but the best value for money on the Livingstone side of Victoria Falls. After staying in several backpackers, this hotel was a welcome relief with hot showers and comfy beds! There was even free WiFi and a very tasty free breakfast. My room had a mini fridge and supplies to make some tea/coffee. Reception was great for organizing taxi transfers for the airport or to go to dinner. No real downsides, just don't expect too much.

Moments later I was greater with an ice cold drink, from Peter, (who also makes delicious free egg breakfast in the morning!), which was perfect cuz I had walked from the bus station with my bag in the ridiculously hot African afternoon sun. Don't make my mistake. Although it is a short distance, take a taxi. Carol made sure to ask me how things were with my room and stay any time she say me in the hotel. Along with the other fabulous staff. Wifi worked well. Free continental breakfast was delicious. Room was spacious and clean. Had good mosquito nets. Flat screen tv with lots of channels. A pool that was clean and inviting. The only thing that I could have maybe kind of complained about, was the shower water pressure was a bit low. But it worked fine so I didn't. Every evening I got back a bit late, and was happily greeted by the night staff. I only had planned to stay two nights, but enjoyed the city and hotel so much I stayed for four!

• James (8/5): Enjoyed my stay at Lepatino - I spent four nights at Lepatino and enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the guesthouse is in a quiet location within walking distance of the Livingstone Museum, some shops, restaurants and banks. The only downside during my stay was the wifi didn't work all the time. Otherwise, this is a pretty good place to stay in Livingstone.

My luggage was delayed and she went to pick it up, along with offering advice on where I could quickly get some needed items. The place is centrally located in the town, so you can find places nearby to eat or shop. I would recommend this place for people who want to spend their money on the activities and travel rather than a 5* hotel.

• Joseph (8/5): Good value and walking distance to the city centre - Good value for money. When we visited Livingstone, Zambia had 8 hours of power cuts a day. The power cuts are well managed with scheduled program of when the power will be cut off. The Hotel has a generator; thought it is not always switched on. You have to tell the receptionist to turn it on for the water pump to pump water to the rooms or if you want to watch TV or use Wi-Fi when power is cut. The hotel is walking distance to the city centre. Ensure you select a room with a fully functioning air conditioner as it gets very hot in the rooms. The executive rooms in the mezzanine floors have low ceiling heights of approximately 2.3m high which makes it essential to have a fully functioning air-conditioner. Basic Breakfast is provided but service ends at 8.30am. Maybe a later ending especially for weekends would be great. Overall good value for money in the Livingstone / Vic Falls area. Fly screen would be great for the windows to keep out mosquitos and flies. I would certainly return to La Patino for a repeat visit.
• Sanjay (2/5): Hot in Livingstone - Livingstone has been having daily announced power cuts as we found out after we arrived. Le Patino staff knows it and even tells the guests no power. The power was off when we arrived and off several times during our stay. Here's the problem. This establish,net has a generator. However several guests had to fight to get the staff to turn on the generator. From what we were told, the generator also controlled the pump which provides water. Since the staff worked very hard to use the generator only sparingly, we didn't have water to to shower or flush the toilet. It was very hot and of course the air con also shutoff without the generator. After 3 days, I came to the conclusion that the problem may not be with the staff, but rather with the ownership. I beleive that they have instructed the staff to contain costs at all cost. I rarely write reviews but felt the need to do so in this case because I want other travelers to beware of the situation. If certain basic amenities are advertised and there is a solution, the ownership should make it happen. The way they are operating now where guests are complaining, at least three that I heard, this is not a serious business. If ownership is trying to contain costs, it's better they raise prices but at least provide what they are supposed to.

• Clark (8/5): Staff works very hard to make the guests happy. - Greeted with a much needed bottle of water and then provided another one. Needed a power converter and they had a good one to loan me. They got up early to fix my breakfast before an early bus ride.
• World Traveler (4/5): No running water - I can be happy with a clean room and a shower. This time i was disappointed. The bathroom did not have running water since my arrival time at about 10:00 a.m. until about 8:00 p.m. this included the toilet tank. That prevented me from taking a shower during the day. Wasn't sure if there was hot water, i had to take a 3 minutes shower with cold water, afraid that i would run out of water again. I'd tried to take a shower earlier during the day, but the water suddenly stopped running after a few seconds, so I did not want to risk it again. The t.v. was placed on the side of the bed instead of the front, which made it very difficult to watch. The water from the loose sink faucet spilled over the floor because it had not been correctly installed. The base of the sink was also loose.
