• Vanessa (8/5): Kein Frühstück dort buchen - Wir waren dort zwei Nächte, die Lage war wirklich hervorragend. Der Blick mit Balkon vorne raus super, die Betten sehr bequem und auch das Zimmer an sich sehr sauber. Das Freibad um die Ecke ist eine 10/10. Das Frühstück war leider ein großer Minuspunkt unseres Aufenthalts. Die Auswahl war sehr überschaubar und insgesamt wirkte alles eher lieblos gestaltet. Besonders störend war jedoch die Atmosphäre im Frühstücksraum: Obwohl kaum Gäste da waren, hielt sich das Personal dauerhaft direkt am Buffet auf, räumte lautstark Geschirr hin und her und verursachte durch ständiges Tellerklirren viel Unruhe. Zusätzlich grenzt die Küche direkt an den kleinen Frühstücksraum, und leider wurde dort ebenfalls kaum Rücksicht auf die Gäste genommen, sodass ein entspanntes Frühstück kaum möglich war. Sehr negativ aufgefallen ist außerdem, dass übrig gebliebene Brötchen eines anderen Gastes einfach wieder zurück in den Brotkorb gelegt wurden.

• Michael (8/5): Für zwei Tage ok, aber der Ort liegt so abseits, dass nächste mal nicht mehr nach Porto Moniz - Die Lage ist super, ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Meeresblick toller Sonnenaufgang. Es war ruhig und angenehm. Die Betten waren für Madeira Verhältnisse sehr gut. Das Fenster liess sich nicht verriegeln, Der Frühstücksraum ist eine Zumutung, klein und ungemütlich.

• Peter (6/5): Er zijn betere hotels in de omgeving dan deze - De locatie is dichtbij de rock-pools. Maar je zit ook midden in het rumoerige/goedkope vertier. Straatlawaai, slecht scorende fastfood-restaurants. Ongezellige ontbijtzaal/ ontbijt ook heel basic. Harde matrassen waar je de spiralen van in je rug voelt.

Frühstücksraum sehr klein und laut, Bad etwas unpraktisch (keine Seifenablage, beim Öffnen der Türe kann der Duschvorleger nicht liegen, wenig Aufhängemöglichkeiten).

Somente algumas falhas na manutenção ( isto no quarto...) os resguardos da base de duche precisam de reparação pois a agua sai para fora, a torneira do lavatório estava quase a cair.

• Ana Zara (8/5): Escapadinha no Porto Moniz - Um bom serviço e atendimento simpático. O pequeno - almoço foi bom e com variedade de escolha. O chão do poliban não é o mais adequado. Deveria haver suporte para gel duche e outros produtos.
• Sara (7/5): Decent stay, nothing special, nothing bad - Friendly staff, pleasant enough room, decent value for money. Nothing special, or bad, but fine 🙂 It was fine, and ok for the money. Light in the bathroom was flickering which was annoying. Decor was a little tired, but it was fine. Breakfast started pretty late at 8 which wasn't great for me, but the breakfast was decent.

• Ющенко (7/5): Good - Great location, renovated rooms with nice finishes, a comfortable bed, a spacious balcony, a well-stocked minibar, and a large, roomy bathroom. Downsides: There wasn’t a hairdryer in the room, but when we asked at reception, they gave us a small travel one. The hotel has 3 floors, and if your room is on the ground level, you won’t really be able to relax on the balcony — there’s no privacy, as cafés are right below or across from you. In the morning, you’ll be woken up by the strong smell of frying bacon and eggs, since breakfast is prepared and served on the same floor. There’s no option to borrow an iron for the room — this service is only available for an extra fee (which meant we had to go to dinner in wrinkled clothes). The room keys definitely need an upgrade to electronic ones! The most disappointing part was the receptionist — very unfriendly. It felt like we were uninvited guests in their home. That lack of hospitality left a poor first impression and affected our overall experience at the hotel.

Breakfast was great, the best we had, but the funny thing about it is that you must cross the street to another "business" or " house " to have it!!! bed it's a big old and you easily can feel the bed springs in all your body. not confy at all

• Andrzej (9/5): Great location, good food, nice natural volcano pools and sunsets :) - Very good location -> close to trekking paths, nice view on the ocean and natural volcano pools. After Your hiking adventure opportunity to relax in the pools is excellent. Good breakfast with variety of dishes is definetely a plus. On top the room was soundproofed perfectly. Not much, maybe the breakfast in other building is a bit unusuall, but still very close, so not a problem. It is much better stay than You would expect looking at the front of the hotel :).

Two single mattresses used to make a king size bed. Fee charged for the use of the in-room safe.

• Deirdre (8/5): Lovely Stay in Porto Moniz - + Air Conditioning + Spacious room and nice balcony + TV and fridge with mini bar + Plenty of Storage + Staff were extremely nice and helpful + Location is perfect and parking available right in front of hotel. A lot of spaces in the morning and after 6pm. Busy during peak hours. + Views at breakfast time - The shower was a bit dated and I had to hold the shower head to use it. Still powerful and hot though.

• Patrick (8/5): a good choice to stay comfortable and central in Porti Moniz - very well situated, big room very comfortable, nice terrace with view on the see breakfast OK but I expected better for a 3 stars hotel (local products, real fruit juice...), the common parts are not very friendly
• Alan-peter (7/5): Fine for brief stay - Decent room, clean. Hotel right by the sea. Basic, no amenities, like gym or terrace. Door had no sound proofing so you can clearly hear others in the hallway walking and talking and closing doors. The staff at the restaurant are not great. No parking, but I did find free public parking close by easily enough.

• Diana (10/5): WOW!!! - WOW! WOW! WOW! I absolutely LOVED this hotel! I visited in May 2024 and only paid €110 for a sea view room (108) and had a huge balcony and fabulous views of the ocean! Bed was comfy. Shower was excellent! Free breakfast was delicious! The check in lady was super helpful and kind and spoke good English. Definitely recommend the sea view room!! The neutral pools (the free ones) were a magical experience to me! One of the best things I’ve ever done!

• Bruna (9/5): Beautiful in front of the natural pools - On arrival staff was friendly and gave advice regarding dinner options, as well directions on how to get to the natural pools. Room was sea view with balcony, large and comfortable bed, cozy and clean! Improvements are a constant, therefore the shower head could be replaced, the water was spraying everywhere but downstream, and the bathroom could have a deep clean.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the spaciousness and comfort it offered. The room boasted a plethora of amenities, including a writing desk, TV, wardrobe, safe, and a thoughtfully stocked mini-fridge. However, the true highlight was the expansive balcony, which provided us with a breathtaking view and two sunbeds. This allowed us to soak up the stunning scenery in ultimate comfort, making it the perfect spot for relaxation. There was one aspect that fell short of expectations: the breakfast. Regrettably, both the hygiene and taste of the breakfast offerings left much to be desired.
