A swimming pool was mentioned at the posting, put I had to pay 56,000 won for me and my two kids to use the pool, which was filled with people taking swimming lessons. Also, TV was old and had just basic cable. Finally, they had a toothpaste/toothbrush kit available in the room, but it had a 3,000 won price tag on it. Very funny. I felt as if the owners were losing money on the hotel and were trying to squeeze every last cent from their guests. Don't stay here. Its a rip-off.

- Amani10 (6/5): Great Breakfast - This hotel has many positives. Rooms are a decent size and there are good views of a (modern) pagoda and a building with a pagoda shaped hole in its centre. What really stand out are the breakfasts which have a huge variety of Western and Korean dishes. The Western dishes are high quality and the Western options for breakfast are amongst the best we’ve experienced in Asia. Unfortunately, our room had a strong smell, something like charcoal, and this, together with the relatively hard bed, impacted negatively on our stay.

(요즘은 주민센터 직원도 대부분 친철함.) 호텔리어가 기본적으로 하는 웃는 표정은 전혀 없고, 투숙객에 대한 아이 컨택도 없이 고개 숙이고 알아듣기 힘들 정도의 빠른 말투로 입안에서 웅얼거리면서 응대함. 빨리 객실 키 받고 가라는 듯... 체크인을 할 때 기본적인 시설 이용 안내도 전혀 없고, 몇호실인지만 말함. 나중에 다시 프런트 문의해서 내일 조식 부페 장소와 시간을 물어봐야 했음. 이튿날 사우나장으로 가는 위치를 물어봤을 때, 잘 모르는 것인지 귀찮은 것인지 제대로 된 안내를 못해서 지나가는 다른 투숙객의 도움을 받았음. 이전 경주 여행때는 근처의 코모도 호텔을 이용했었는데, 그 때와 천처만별임. 대학교 기숙사 관리인보다 못한 투숙객 응대에 매우 실망하였고, 다시는 이용하지 않을 생각임.

- Walter (8/5): We would choose it again - We chose this hotel to avoid the crowds downtown Gyeongju. However, it turned out that the hotel was fully booked! Nevertheless, the room was quiet at night, and we had a good sleep. Our Deluxe Twin Room with Mountain View looked a bit old fashioned (it isn't), but was comfortable with two chairs and a table at the window. The beds were comfortable too. There was no noise at night, neither from the street, nor from the hall or other rooms. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of dishes, and at a reasonable price. We appreciated the free parking, although, due to the hotel being fully booked, we had to use the open parking lot in the farthest corner of the site. We would have appreciated a second luggage rack.

- Nadir (9/5): Superb - The staff was friendly. I like to sleep with a thin pillow and there was none in the room - the staff was kind enough to provide one. The room was spacious and the hotel looks grand. The location is really good and right next to my conference venue. Despite being super tired, I couldn't sleep well. I think the ACs weren't set right and the bed was a bit hard. There was also a power outage of some kind at one point and the internet and plugs stopped working for an hour or so. My stay in Gyeongju was split in two hotels and the other hotel (3-star and cheaper) provided free water bottles and tooth-paste kits. The K-hotel had water bottles in the mini-bar and gave tooth-paste kits at 3000 WON.
- 수미 (2/5): - 호텔이 낡고 오래되어 시설상태가 좋지 않은 건 어쩔수가 없지만 침구류나 청결상태는 좋았어요. 다만, 방음상태가 좋지 않다는 평을 보긴 했었는데 이 정도일줄은 몰랐습니다. 고시원인줄 알았어요ㅠㅠ 복도에서 지나가며 떠드는 소리, 옆방에서 얘기하는 소리, 같은라인 단체손님 중학생아이들 통제안되어 1분마다 방문 쾅쾅 여닫는소리가 밤12시까지 지속되어 잠을 잘수가 없어 복도로 뛰쳐나가 항의까지 했었네요. 다음에 경주가더라도 더케이호텔은 재방문하지 않을 것 같습니다.
