Emanuele (10/5): Excellent place in Brianza - I spent four nights with my family at Best Western Borgolecco. Our Junior suite was spacious and bright, with plenty of storage. The beds were very comfortable and the room was absolutely quiet. We even had a terrace. The reception staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast very good and various, with a nice choice of both salty and sweet food. Plenty of parking space available just outside the hotel. The hotel is easy to reach and it is located in a quiet area, far from the main roads. Just next door to the hotel there are two nice restaurants, which are very convenient after a full day. The location of the hotel is strategic: if you are by car you can reach many tourist destination in a short time, the closest being the Monza Formula one circuit.

Loved them all! The hotel was very nice and clean I especially appreciated that. Nice and quiet for sleeping as well. 2 great restaurants right beside the building. Highly recommend and I will definitely go back any time I go back to the Milan area!! Also the breakfast was so good and had a huge variety everyday! It was 12 Euro but worth it! Loved it so much. Can’t say enough great things about this place!

The room was nice, although mine was above the restaurant, and there was some noise in the evening from the cleanup, but not too dramatic. There is free parking across the street, which is great. Location is great - not in the dead center, but nearby to make walking easy. There are plenty of cafe's and restaurants nearby, and a pizzeria with gluten-free options next to the hotel. Volkan1981 (8/5): Schone hotel met ruime kamers. - Een leuk, schone hotel. We hadden 2 kamers met een deur ertussen. Kamers waren ruim, badkamers waren schoon. We kregen korting voor ontbijt. Ontbijt stelde niet veel voor maar omdat we op doorreis waren, was het fijn om even een hapje te eten zonder op zoek te gaan naar een café of restaurant. Er was ook een eigen ondergrondse parkeerplaats. Het voelt fijn een veilig om je auto weg te kunnen zetten. Eigenlijk niets. Prima hotel als je onderweg ergens wil verblijven voor een nachtje.

Kirstin (9/5): A couple of days in Ancore. - The hotel was fantastic, great breakfasts, clean room and comfortable. Having a train station within a 10 mins walk was great to explore. Found a few good places to eat. Local restaurants very busy. Acore is a little run down sad to see so much graffiti on some lovely buildings and some buildings looking like they need some renovation. But overall a good base if you need to go to Monzo/ connections to visit Milan via trains.

GaryH458 (4/5): No air con / no bar / no sleep. - Here for a couple of nights on business. This hotel is very hot inside ( not sure why… the heating was off ) - about 25 degrees! We reported our non working room air con to be told it was turned off in the whole hotel as ordered by the Italian government. ( Not sure if this is true or not...) they offered a room change but we declined as what was the point. the room was like a sauna at night even with the windows open. We struggled to sleep as did other colleagues. For this reason alone we probably wouldn’t return here. There is also nowhere to eat or drink in the hotel or nearby till 7pm when the pizza restaurant next door opens. So beware if you fancy a cold beer / food when you arrive. Another very odd thing about this business hotel was although there was a nice Modern smart TV there isn’t one channel in English ( usually you would get at least BBC world News ). Our room was not made up whilst we were there. On the plus side the room was very nice and staff at reception we had contact with were nice. Breakfast was very good. There’s a supermarket 5 minutes walk away. We left a fast charger and adaptor in the room by mistake and it was disappointing that the hotel wouldn’t pop it in the post to us back in the uk. After emailing them They offered to package it up and give it to a ‘courier’ that we had to arrange….😳 even though we offered to pay the small postage cost.
