• Engelbert (7/5): Zentrale Lage - Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen. In 5 Minuten erreicht man die Main Street. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bad ist veraltet und macht keinen gepflegten Eindruck. Das Frühstück ist okay.

Excursies naar bijvoorbeeld Ring of Kerry of Gap of Dunloe mogelijk. Vriendelijke gastheer/gastvrouw en personeel. Prima ontbijt. Afzuiging in de badkamer niet goed werkend.

• Daniela (5/5): Leider nein - Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter! Die Lage! Ich hatte ein Zimmer im EG was bedeutet, dass man von draußen direkt ins Zimmer kommt. Mir war das Zimmer und vor allem das Bad zu kalt - Heizkörper war am Abend zwar warm - schaltete sich aber irgendwann Nachts wieder aus. Das Zimmer ist feucht - in der Früh läuft das Wasser förmlich das Fenster und der Tür entlang weil alles so beschlagen ist. Der Kleiderschrank war unbrauchbar, da er extrem muffig war. Den Geruch im Empfangsraum wo die Rezeption kann ich absolut nicht zuordnen - ist jedoch sehr unangenehm. Dadurch dass man im EG immer die Vorhänge zuziehen muss um Privatsphäre zu haben ist es dunkel - und zusätzlich zu allem anderen was ich aufgelistet habe, führte letztendlich dazu, dass ich mich überhaupt nicht wohl gefühlt habe. Ich würde diese Unterkunft nicht mehr wählen - so nett und bemüht das Personal ist.

• David (10/5): The most friendly, welcoming and pleasant stay you could ever want. - This place really is a hidden gem. It is so close to the town which is bustling by day and night, yet it is quiet and peaceful once you’re ready for sleep. The staff are so friendly and they work so hard to make sure you have a great stay. Breakfast was excellent and run so efficiently. The room whilst basic still had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Yes it looks a little dated now, but so what. Overall I can’t over emphasise how friendly and helpful the staff are, especially Sandra, who helped with so many recommendations directions to here, there and everywhere. It’s right on the edge of the Beautiful national park, so many things to explore. Faultless

Location was great, breakfast was plentiful and delicious and our room was clean and comfortable. The hosts, John and his lovely wife were delightful. They were so helpful, providing us with lots of useful information. We couldn’t have asked for more. Nothing.

• Herman (7/5): Great base to hit the Ring of Kerry in the morning - Prime location in Killarney, free parking. Friendly helpful staff, decent breakfast available. The area is pretty quiet and serene. Clean and maintained. Pretty comfortable for one night. The building itself is quite dated. Toilet mechanism needs replacing. The cistern filling took about an hour or so, driving me nuts with the sound of teeny tiny water stream. The flush itself was quite weak as well. The shower was cramped and claustrophobic but there's no way to improve it with the amount of bathroom space. The turn to the facility from the main road is a dangerous concealed entrance. Take care to use the mirror!

Das Personal gibt auch gute Tipps für Ausflüge, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants. Nicht ganz leicht zu finden, der Wegweiser ist etwas verwirrlich.

The breakfast is freshly cooked each morning and offers different options from which you can choose. The beds are a bit soft und the pillows a tad to firm for my taste, but I slept very good. The shower drain is very slow and if you have long hair you have to wait till the water has drowned, before you can continue to wash your hair, otherwise you will flood the bath

Preis-Leistung sehr gut! - Spitzen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis: Großes Zimmer mit guter Ausstattung und Frühstück inklusive für 80€ pro Nacht. Besser geht es fast nicht. Sehr nette Gastgeber und ebenso nettes Personal beim Frühstück. Es sind ausreichend viele Parkplätze an der Unterkunft verfügbar. Die Matratze war etwas weich, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache.

La camera era pulita, comoda, bel areata e illuminata con un bagno piccolo ma funzionale. Saponi e phone come asciugamani a disposizione. Hanno riordinato la camera e cambiato gli asciugamani. La colazione si svolge in una stanza apposita piacevole e sul giardino. Un piccolo self service per lo yogurt e i cereali come i succhi di frutta e poi servizio al tavolo per the o caffè o la scelta del tipo di colazione salata. Tutto molto buono, abbondante e cucinato al momento. Pane tostato e in cassetta caldo con burro a volontà. Un posto dove tornerei volentieri Tutto ok

• Yvonne (5/5): Okay - Die Größe des Bettes war gut und auch das Bad war sehr groß. Die Lage war top, keine 5 Minuten von der Fußgängerzone entfernt. Das Personal war auch sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Uns wurde auch ganz genau erklärt, wie wir den Ring of Kerry am besten fahren und wo wir Stopps einlegen sollten. Leider was das Zimmer feucht von innen. Jeden Morgen waren die Fenster komplett angelaufen. Aufgrund dessen ist auch mitten in der Nacht der Feuermelder los gegangen. Das Zimmer ist relativ klein. Das Housekeeping öffnet auch jedes Mal die Fenster, egal wie kalt es draußen ist. Das ist nicht von Vorteil. Die Wände waren sehr dünn und man konnte die Nachbarn hören. Zudem sind direkt vor der Tür und dem Fenster Lampen, die die ganze Nacht an sind, wodurch es sehr hell im Zimmer ist nachts. Und Privatsphäre bleibt einem auch wenig. Zudem sind an einigen Stellen Schimmel zu erkennen von der Feuchtigkeit.

• RickJKwiecien (9/5): Perfect location, in a perfect area - Perfect location and fantastic staff Not much really but I found the duvet too heavy to sleep under. It felt like I was weighed down all night.
• Tom (7/5): - Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist ruhig und man kommt fußläufig in die Stadt. Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft. Irisches Frühstück inklusive. Ausstattung in die Jahre gekommen. Es roch sehr stark nach Schimmel im Bad. In Abfluss des Waschbeckens waren noch viele Haare der Vorgänger. Wände sind sehr dünn. Wie können das Gespräch und das Schnarchen der Nebenzimmer hören.
