- Harold (3/5): Poor - Staff were friendly. Location was easy to find. Room was very quite. Parking was great. Bathroom was dirty. hair in tub. floor was filthy didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time. TV had no signal.
Tried to call office and never got an answer. Carpet in the bathroom door was loose and could cause a tripping hazard.
It would be helpful if there were instructions for the TV, i.e. channels available and how to operate the direct tv system.

The place was not clean better if they had hot breakfast and WiFi as website described.
They wanted more money, and gave me someone else paperwork.
Tried to reach booking.com to help me with the problem but was not successful.
- Holly (1/5): WORSE EVER - I didn’t get the breakfast If the office dude wasn’t so Rude, before check out he didn’t knock and busted into the room. Not caring if anyone was dressed or not!!! NEVER AGAIN !!!

- Lewis (9/5): If back in the area would stay again. Good value for the price. - Was not taking advantage of people up for the eclipse as other were price gouging. Staff was kind and caring.
- Lawrence (10/5): - For the price the place was the best. The bed was awesome like a five star hotel. Off the high way but very quiet. Will book again if I travel this way again
- Jessica (1/5): Horrible - It was very dirty. Sheets had black stains on them. Comforter was a yellowish color instead of white. There were so many stains on chair I was afraid to sit on it. Air unit was caked in dust that just blew directly on bed. Every inch was dirty and dusty. I did not use the shower as the shower head had gross build up on it. Very very disgusted.
- Mildred (10/5): - Ease of check in. Friendly and helpful staff.
- Paul (10/5): - Staff was helpful, quiet , no problems.

- Haley (10/5): - For the price, this place can't be beat. It's right off of the interstate, but still pretty quiet. Staff is super friendly, rooms are clean, and there are plenty of food options close by.
- Esther (9/5): Superb - Located Air conditioner
- Cindy (8/5): Very good -
- Rhonda (5/5): Passable - Inexpensive, nice tv, clean bedding Room could have been cleaner, tub dirty and shower curtain had mold. Lots of cobwebs and dirty around the door frame, beds were good but recliner was a little rickety. Couldn't get microwave to work
- Domineke (1/5): Bad -
- A (1/5): STAY AWAY FROM THE STRATTON INN, IN PRINCETON, KY. - The best part was driving off the property after the night manager was as rude as he was. Everything. The night manager was extremely rude. I have a very severe fear of spiders, and there was a spider above the check-in window. So, because I wouldn't go near the window he rudely ripped up the check-in paper. I was almost in tears and wetting myself because of the spider there, and I had even told him that there was a spider and I wasn't going to be able to remain composed much longer. Instead of him dealing with the, possibly deadly pest, he was very nasty.
- White (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (7/5): Rome was comfortable, but breakfast is lousy - Bed was comfortable , water was hot, had a good nights rest Breakfast was terrible, no decaf coffee. Regular coffee had been made for a long time. There was a cup of coffee in the microwave that was molded.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel was quiet, comfortable and the staff was very friendly. We would stay again with no problems. It would have been nicer if the weather had been nicer.
- Martin (10/5): - Customer Service was top notch.
- Bryan (7/5): Good -
- Marvin (10/5): best king bed i ever slept on,better than most higher price hotels. - just enough to start your day. a table or two to sit in breakfast area.
- Eva (8/5): - The gentleman who checked us in was very pleasant and informative. Access from the highway was easy.
- Jeff (8/5): Very good -
- Jesse (7/5): Good -
- Isaac (8/5): - It’s a decent little roadside motel. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.
- Danny (5/5): It was OK for the price - No breakfast Had to walk to far to get ice..I am handicap..
- Burt (9/5): Superb - Easy access to motel and restaurants.
- Kim (2/5): Very poor -
- judy (10/5): Family trip - Very pleasant stay staff was great too
Was clean and hotel close to everything
- Jennifer (10/5): - Friendly staff and the room was clean.
- Millie (10/5): - Friendly staff!
- Maxwell (10/5): - This place is a nice place to stay as the bed sheets are clean and the air conditioner works great. For the price, you can’t beat it. The staff is pleasant and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for travelers.
- Joseph (7/5): Good -
- Bonnia (9/5): I would gladly stay at the Stratton Inn again and bring family. - There were two cereals offered and some milk. Only coffee was offered and no hot water for tea or tea bags. Nothing else was offered but I did like the Raisan Bran. But I would like to say that I could not get milk at any gas station the night before near the hotel as whatever company delivered the milk was running late. I was willing to pay for a glass of milk and hotel staff graciously gave me a 12 oz. glass of milk which I really needed before bedtime. I thought that was very nice and kind. I just wish there had been bread for toast or a tea bag and hot water for breakfast. Everything else was very nice.
- Richard (6/5): Pleasant - Loud blower on heater kept me up
- Bmikkola (6/5): For the price, it's pretty decent. - Convenient location, friendly staff, movies, decent value for what you get. Not the most comfortable and needs some updating. But it's what I would expect for the price.
- Brian (6/5): Lesser of two evils... - As soon as I got checked in, the guy chased me down to ask if I took the signed copy of my credit card receipt, because he couldn't find it. That's the first 30secs.
You could tell the vinyl flooring in the room had been mopped. The soapy film was still on it making it very slippery since it was raining. The inside of the doors were absolutely filthy. The flimsy old furniture was stained with tears in the upholstery, missing hardware... just unsafe to use.
The relatively new mattress was as hard as the concrete floor and I have never seen a flatter pillow in my life.
We had to go back to the desk for toilet paper and a light bulb. And I hope you don't need to charge anything. There is only one available outlet.
At least it was conveniently located and quiet.
Still the better of the 2 motels in town.
- AlexisS789 (4/5): Nope - Where to start: grubby handprints on the doors, no towels, no shampoo, nothing but wash cloth and soap. This was an emergency stay due to power outage in a snow storm. Lot and sidewalks were untreated for 2 days. Another guest's unleashed pit bull came after my dog. Wifi was 1-2 bars and useless. Fridge had dents. Holes and burn marks on EVERYTHING. Had to hip check the door to close it. Allergy free? No. Mattresses and pillows have no allergy covers. 1 out of 4 plugs worked and my plug kept falling out. Fine with dog in emergency, but with the tridemic, I had to clean the room to make it safe. For what they charged, Days Inn Kutawwa is cheaper by a LOT. Reminded me of seedy monthly room motels I have seen. Found 3 different long hairs in the bed spread and sheets had pills. No excuse for this in 2022.
- Mildred (10/5): - Check-in was smooth and easy. Room is clean. Quiet surroundings. Definitely a good place to stay!
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stan (1/5): the gentleman working the desk was great. the room was not real clean. carpet was dirty, when we looked at the beds we f -
- D’lisa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Cheek (9/5): Superb -
- Heather (6/5): Pleasant - Dated and first room was iffy but once moved it was clean and decent stat.
- Cheek (9/5): Superb - Everything
- Perry (7/5): Good - Location was very good. The staff was very pleasant. N/A
- Kellie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jason (10/5): Will stay again. - This is actually the second time we have stayed at the Stratton. The room was very clean and well kept. Bed linens were clean, bathroom was clean. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. Owner/Manager was very nice.
- Richard (10/5): - Great place
- Lou (8/5): - It was an older property but kept up well. The person checking us in was friendly and helpful. Our room was very cold on arrival but heated quickly. We weren’t at the hotel much so mostly just slept and left without checking out breakfast.
- Heather (10/5): Nice place - Super nice and friendly staff. Room was dated but clean. Only issue was you can still hear traffic but nothing to bad.
- Chris (6/5): Need some love - The room was in need of a deep cleaning. Location is great. Hotel itself is very dated.
- Donna (8/5): - Would have been better if coffee area was cleaner and fresh
- mckinzeem2021 (2/5): Discrimination - So the Stratton Inn off the interstate will discriminate against you if you have a service dog and illegally charge you extra fees. They will also put you in dirty rooms that smell like mildew and leave the previous tenants underwear in the grass for several days 🤷 There is now an active investigation ongoing for their discrimination. Be mindful of this if you chose to bring them your business.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff was very nice and ac worked amazing. Unfortunately beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable
