- Shelby (7/5): Perfect option for a quick one-night stay on a budget. - We just needed a quick stay on our trip up to Tennessee, and this hotel met our expectations. It was located right off the interstate near other businesses. The check in process was easy and the staff members were friendly. The room was a little dingey, but it served its purpose. Air conditioning worked great and the beds were comfortable enough. Considering we only stayed there for about 7 hours before hitting the road again, I didn't experience enough to have any real complaints. It's a good option for a quick, affordable stay while traveling.
- Hope (4/5): - Staff
- Julie (8/5): - I stay here at least 3x a year. Its a great location to stay when I travel from Atlanta to Daytona, another plus, its dog friendly which is great because I travel with my dog. The rooms do not smell like pets. The rooms are clean, if more than one person is staying you will need more towels. I requested a downstairs room because I like to park my car right outside my room for safety and convenience reasons. If you are looking for a place just to rest and sleep overnight its worth the money.

I booked for Saturday 26th July. I requested an early check in and the lady assured me that it was $20 after placing me on hold and calling the motel. I go to check in and the clerk tells me its not $20, but $20/hr for each hour before 3pm. I declined the room and he advises me to cancel and request a refund for the $80 I paid. Per their policy, I cancelled before 9am and requested my refund. I have been doing that since Saturday and each customer rep I speak with just gives me the runaround. The employees literally lie to you, and its extremely difficult to get them to refund your money even when cancelling the right way. So please beware when booking with them, if you cancel you won't get your money back. Instead go down to the Motel 6, its cleaner and the customer service is way better.
- Esther (8/5): - As soon as I walked into the room, I immediately caught a strong whiff of stale tobacco. The seat/couch next to the table came off its hinges when I sat down.
- O. (2/5): - Extremely dirty
- Patrick (2/5): - Everything was broken and non functional. I mean everything … the tv, the tv remote, the phone, the drapes, the basin was clogged, the molding was falling off the refrigerator smelled, the lock was broken
- Angel (1/5): -
- Juana (2/5): - Horrible
- Sócrates (3/5): Poor -
- Erickson (7/5): Good - did not have
- melba (2/5): - We ended up not staying, felt very uncomfortable we checked u and five minutes later checked out
- Gail (8/5): - it was clean and comfortable beds but the msnager was rude
- Harry (6/5): - The floor was in bad condition. The room was clean but was lacking any decor. The air conditioner was very loud. The bed was uncomfortable as were the pillows.
- Sandrita (10/5): Comfortable - I would recommend this hotel, services where good
- Ebony (5/5): Passable -
- Alishia (8/5): Very good - Very nice staff, so friendly & my room was very clean!
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - The beds were very comfortable Nothing
- Willie (2/5): - This place is terrible! My wife and I pulled up to this place and knew right away we weren't staying there. It looked like a zoo. Its pretty obvious that people are living there. It looked a block party going on people hanging out everywhere. The place did not feel safe at all.
- Blake (8/5): Very good -
- 154candiw (2/5): Nice manager, not so nice rooms - It advertised 24 hour front desk availability, but when I got there, around 8:30 pm, the office door was kicked and the lights were out. It adjoined a has station, and they called the hotel manager to check is in. The room was full of smoke. I had requested non-smoking. So I went back to mgr. and he took us to another room. It didn't smell like cigarettes, but was very musty smelling. It liked clean until I went into the bathroom where someone used it (p & p) and hadn't flushed. Went bank to the manager to ask for my money back, and he wanted to show me another room. I had told him I am allergic to tobacco, my eyes had already started itching and I was starting to have difficulty breathing. He took me to another room, had me go in because he couldn't smell if there was smoke. I started into the room and it also heavily smellsed of smoke. That's when I had had enough. I wasn't having dangerous levels of allergy, but the next person might. They don't have certain non-smoking rooms, it he wouldn't have taken me to two rooms full of smoke. The man was nice, I felt bad for him, but if I could, I would rate this a minus 5.
- Donella (4/5): 1 day stay in Valdosta - I guess price wise, $96 for 1 night. I flaked on booking 2wks prior for a better place.
The location for the reason I was in town. It was 2mins away. Plenty of restaurants/shops nearby (walk to tjmaxx, Ollie's, rack room shoes, KFC, waffle house, wendys, Applebee's, taco bell, olive garden; drive to the mall in about 10mins).
The owner did not charge me a deposit.
A/C was COLD 🤗
Shower wall was clean, curtain was intact.
The room comes with a small microwave & (college sz) mini fridge. They were clean, I never used them.
Owner has pepsi/coke products & bottled water for sale in the lobby ($1)
Ice machine It was rundown looking. Booking did not show outdoor photos. Online stated an $80 refundable deposit, when I checked in, I was asked for $100 (see above).
The flip bar lock was loose (screws).
There was a panel of "baseboard" peeling away from the wall, the length of the bed.
No actual Comforter on the bed.
Remote/TV didn't work.
Wood floor panel was separated about half in wide x 20+ inches long at the foot of the bed.
There weren't any outlets beside the bed. The closest was under the TV, across from the bed, 6ft. (I had a long charger cord). So I slept parallel to the bed.
This was apparently at 1 time a dbl bed room, but I had a queen, so there was a space big enough for a loveseat next to the ac/window!
A few smudges/stains around the sink.
Toilet seat was dirty.
"Bath mat" held a long brown hair & a "dust bunny".
Shower head was dirty (soap scum)
The room door faced the setting sun. Apparently, this is an issue to re-enter your room. The mgr reprogrammed my key, didn't work. So he came up & put ice on the lock. Didn't work. He used an actual key & opened it. Waited about 2mins, closed the door & use my key card & it worked.
I woke in the middle of the night to a BEETLE in the bed w/ me!
- Ardean (10/5): - Great stop for the night!
- Georganna (3/5): Poor -
- Angel (5/5): Passable -
- Katie (4/5): - Motel not hotel. Former motel 6. Hard pass.
- Lelonek (10/5): Exceptional -
- JS (6/5): Basic - It was a nice, basic hotel. Room was adequate but not fancy. A little rundown but not shabby or unsafe. Bed was firm and shower was hot. Other guests were very loud so that was a detractor.
- Stephanie (2/5): - The property is in disrepair. Our toilet wasnt even bolted to floor and there were roaches in the room. There appeared to be a prostitute on duty and several noisy cars in the lot. It was cheap, so I guess we got what we paid for, a poor night's sleep
