• Gauvreau (10/5): - I found the owner's very friendly and accommodating to my early check in I also liked the location it was close to my daughter's reception and I found the room large enough to have my family in the room after the party I also found the bed comfortable and had zero problems at all it was a great value even though it felt dated it didn't matter at all to any of us it was clean warm and cozy .

• Brenda (4/5): - The previous reviews & price convinced me to book here. Previous reviews were correct, friendly people, comfortable beds, clean and very dated. The room smelled of air freshener & was actually a sickening smell. No coffee maker but could go get coffee at the office - not very convenient. For people with mobility concerns, toilet is very low & bathtub is very slippery. No tub mat or grab bars. We did appreciate having the refrigerator & microwave.

I highly reccomend staying at the Lighthouse Motel, upon check-in greated with a smile and ease, walking into our room a pleasant smell of cleanliness made us feel welcome and made our one night stay enjoyable after a long drive. • Laura (10/5): - It was an amazing stay for the long weekend. Fishing close by. The owners are super friendly and the rooms are super clean. Our only complaint was the wifi lol it’s terrible. They need a wifi extender. We had rain….so we wanted to watch movies. They kept freezing like no tomorrow. Other than that….we highly recommend it 😃

Biggest issue was the noise from the heater. We did not say anything about it so hotel didn’t get a chance to fix anything

• Steven (10/5): A charge out of my sleep! - Super nice little Motel owned by a super nice little couple. Old school Motel, clean. Best of all the Motel has three charging stations for electric vehicles! Great place to get a charge while getting a good night's sleep!

• Pamela (10/5): - This is outside of Walkerton, but just a short drive. It is family owned and they are very helpful and friendly. They have EV chargers available for those with electric vehicles. The room was clean and if you need, it has a microwave and small fridge. We had a room with two queen beds that were comfortable.

• Sara (9/5): We were looking for somewhere clean, comfy, and cheap. Lighthouse Motel exceeded our expectations! - The value for the price was unbeatable. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and it felt welcoming. There are BBQs and picnic tables outside, as well as stackable chairs you can move around. We enjoyed sitting at the picnic tables at night and looking at the stars. The location is quiet and feels private. The check-in office had great hours as well, they were open until 11 or 12 for check-in or assistance. The fridge and microwave were tricky to plug in. Truly a tiny complaint with how great the place was. The outlets for the appliances were hidden behind a heavy dresser, but the staff were so kind, I am sure they would plug it in for anyone who doesn't have the strength to do it themselves.
