- Fay (8/5): Lovely B&B, in a great location with a lovely host. - Lovely very clean B&B in a good location with an excellent host who was very friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed staying here. A longer extension cable would be a bonus.
- Richard (7/5): -
- Craig (5/5): Pay a bit extra and stay elsewhere - Great location. A 1 minute walk to the prom and close by to various car parks. Had booked a double room but was given a twin room with single beds.
The room hadn’t been cleaned prior to checking in and one of the beds hadn’t been made and had been slept in.
Coffee and tea refreshments were limited as the room hadn’t been seen to. No milk.
Used towels were still present in the bathroom.
Shower worked but had poor pressure and you had to move the dial by the mm to get it to a decent temperature.
- Katie (10/5): Brilliant - Friendly, clean, very accommodating
- Katie (10/5): -
- Casey (10/5): Great base for a weekend in Blackpool without breaking the bank - Staff were friendly and helpful, no problems with checking in or out. A very easygoing no hassle stay, and the location was ideal. Bit of an older building, which just means you should expect creaky floors and doors - and it looks a bit aged. Nothing that affects your time there all that much though.
- Asmik (7/5): -
- Vanessa (1/5): We did not stay, we had to find another hotel. - Nothing to like filthy place booked 2x twin rooms was given bunk beds and a room with beds crammed in, all photos that are shown on here are not reality, far from. It was that bad we managed 10 mins in the place and refused to stay had to find another hotel and are still awaiting a refund. Other reviews state that it is in need of an update, well it needs razing to the ground and a rebuild. Also a huge fire hazard as none of the windows opened in the room. It was awful. EVERYTHING, could of been better it was disgusting false advertising at its best nothing at all like the pictures they show.
- Donna (10/5): Lovely hotel, great location - Hotel was lovely and clean The breakfast could do with a little improvement, didnt like the sausage or bacon
- Isaac (1/5): Bedbugs! - The location was great We had bed bugs, finger nails and mould. Misleading pictures.
- Tracy (1/5): Not good place to stay - How close the hotel was to everything We waited between 40 - 50 mins for breakfast to arrive then it was not good asked, bed was hard to sleep had sore back in the mornings, no coffee in room plus cups was all dirty paint coming off celling of my daughter room, windows would not close, fire alarm going off in the middle of the night one small bar of soap, no shower gel.
- Joanne (1/5): -
- Darren (1/5): - Location near ardwick pub Poor breakfast service took over 1hr to get it no working TV jammed window in storm
- Garner (6/5): -
- margaret (4/5): - Firstly no heating it was freezing asked for help no help dirty towels telly going on and off breakfast no bacon everyone I spoke too had no heating it was a very cold night with a storm will not be returneding no one seemed bothered about the guests just was ignored all the time don't think you should be advertising this guest house on booking .com was not worth the money big disappointment Did not like when you told the people bwho run it said they would sort the problem then never did just was ignored
- Rebecca459 (1/5): Avoid read reviews see photos - Locations was good Stayed easter weekend room 19
Came down for breakfast served between 9-11am we had a busy day so came down and got table at 9.05 our breakfast order was taken just after 10am for the whole room every single table! We finally got breakfast at 10.35am we didn't bother the next day
TV didn't work & whilst we were all waiting for breakfast we all got talking about our rooms and more than 4 said the aerial doesn't work
There's a radiator and electricic heater in room neither of them work and again a few other people stated theres didn't work & room is cold we had a storm so it was freezing!
So after all that it can't get any worse surly?? Well the mattress was absolutely shocking just pure springs sticking through if we didn't have storm we would have drove home but because of the bad weather we decided to stay & really wished we hadn't because in the morning I wanted to take a photo of the springs on the mattress and pulled back sheets to find mattress protector with blood stains and the mattress covered in it too! (See photos)
Please say if you have a complaint let them know to resolve it these problems were far to many 1 is OK but multiple what's the point!
Bulb gone in room above bed
Room hadn't been hoovered

- Hall (5/5): Good location but needs updating - Great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It's run down and needs updating. Room had a very strange smell which I presume was the numerous air fresheners trying to cover the smell of damp up.
- Susan (10/5): - The staff went above and beyond for my Daughters 30th Birthday.
The food was amazing. Apart from the beds being uncomfortable due to the springs off the mattresses digging into me every was spot on.

- Patrick (6/5): -
- Petch (10/5): Great value friendly stay - The manager was so helpful and friendly I was greeted by the managers son in law who was so polite . I got a room upgrade without extra cost . The breakfast was really lovely freshly cooked and plenty of it . Its such good value for money it is being updated at the moment but you get more than the cost suggests , thankyou for a wonderful stay be back again All was good

- Alan (5/5): -
- mcclure-jones (10/5): Lovely welcome awaits one at the Aberford - I had a lovely welcome from Ricci when I entered the Accomodation. He was extremely professional and very helpful aiding me with my case to the first floor room due to my mobility issues.
Throughout the weekends nothing was too much trouble.
The late breakfast cut off at 11am was a HUGE bonus on the day I left.
Minor things:
Tape around shower hose not very hygienic.
Full ashtray of cigarette nub ends on table outside B&B really unappealing.
My room overlooked the back of the property where a view of rubbish and full bins was not a pretty sight.
I would definitely attend the Aberford again due to the welcome and value for money. See above
- Ahmed (8/5): -
- Ann (1/5): Horrendous - Nothing The place is rundown and dirty, paint peeling off the doors , shower unusable, dirty cups all over disgusting
- Ahmed (10/5): -
- Joshua (1/5): Ruined - Nothing Dirty, disgusting vile place
- Karen (7/5): In the words of Arnie, "I,ll be back" - The hotel was perfectly situated for our stay.
Staff were very friendly and approachable.
The breakfast was fantastic with a great choice Its a very big hotel and a bit tired looking.
- Kc (8/5): A good honest hotel. Comfortable stay. - Enjoyed a comfortable stay at the hotel, room bit dated, but it was warm and the shower worked nicely, plenty of tea coffee milk etc on offer, breakfast is available at the hotel, though I did not make time to sample it, the young man at reception was really nice and informative, the hotel is very conveniently situated near to the beach front on what seemed to be a reasonably quiet street , and is about a 15 min walk into Blackpool town centre, I will stay here again with no issues and would recommend to anyone visiting Blackpool All was well.
- Pamela (10/5): Excellent service lovely people nice and clean -
- dixon (7/5): Nice comfortable stay. - Nice friendly hotel staff.

- Rebecca (1/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! - Leaving it. The room was appalling. Not reflective of the photographs. Broken bed with screws coming out of the base. Dirty crisps that my 2 year old son found. Wallpaper sellotaped to the wall. Dirty bedding. Wallpaper sellotaped to the walls. This is to name a few. When we raised with reception and the manager came to the room. He agreed the bed was broken and said they had just taken over, but no offer of resolution, refund or move of rooms. We decided to leave and booked elsewhere. Now we cannot get a refund because the accommodation will not answer Booking.com!!!
- EMMA (3/5): Not good - The location The Hotel...room was dirty, curtains falling down, TV wouldn't work, chair in room had beentaped up with parcel tape to make it sterdy, not hot water, no towels provided.Breakfast awful...some items freezing and some burnt and had to make own toast and hot beverages. Dining/reception area dirty and had dirty towels etc piled up.
- Stuart (7/5): Was ok, but wouldn’t stay again. - Close proximity to all attractions, Friendly staff Breakfast was horrible, cold beans, cold mushrooms, overcooked bacon. Very snotty egg. Mattress needs replaced bed springs coming through. Decor needs a full makeover. Door to bathroom would not close. Tv to small needs to be placed on wall, couldn’t see it when in bed.
- Ronald (1/5): Never stayed. Walked straight out - The hotel was nothing like the photos. It was disgusting. We walked straight out of the hotel and had to look for an alternative hotel.
- Amanda (8/5): Enjoyable - Breakfast was average excellent location Just got a bit noisy late at night outside the property
- Heaton (9/5): -
- Ian (8/5): Very Pleasant -
- jaymal (10/5): -
- KEVIN (7/5): A very pleasant stay in a nice hotel - hopefully will be there again this time next year. - The hotel was clean and well appointed with friendly staff. The breakfasts were very good as there was a decent choice on the menu. I was very pleased with the cleanliness and ambience of my room. Ideal location for the Central Pier and tram station, reasonably near to the Tower and about 15 to 20 minutes walk from the Winter Gardens. Will very likely stay at this hotel at the same time next year (subject to availability) The towels in my room were not changed for the duration of my stay. However if I had asked to have them changed on the third day of my stay I am sure the staff would have provided me with fresh towels - will bear this in mind on a proposed next visit.
- Danson (10/5): -
- Lee (6/5): -
- paul (8/5): - The hospitality of the owners very polite and courteous very helpful will stop there again. The room was clean and tide could have done with better mattress but my stay was fine.
