• Pierre (5/5): Noisy. - Breakfast was adequate and the location was good The fact that there was construction noise continuously going on all day every day directly in front of the hotel. Booking.com should have told us about or keep in touch with hotels for updates on surrounding works.

Wayan was fantastic, a very friendly and knowledgeable local. He couldn't help us enough, gave us lots of advice on fishing, currents, diving. He is a credit to the hotel. :) Virgin Beach is an amazing beach to visit also, just a 10-15 minute ride away. easy to spend the full day there.

We had a lovely room on the 1st floor and the view was definitely worth paying a bit more for. The pool was a great size and clean. Yes there is noise from the beachfront works but it didn’t bother us at all. We’d love to come back!

Breakfast options were a good variety of a set menu. Genggong was recommended to me and it did not disappointment! I too highly recommend this place to anyone wishing for a relaxing stay in Candidasa

Most disturbing was when I booked with you I was not advised of the construction work taking place or offer me at worst a cheaper rate. Yesterday as previously booked with you , into the Parigata hotel at Sanur. I requested a ground level , quiet , non smoking room. YOU only requested the hotel provide a non- smoking room.They could only offer me a ground level unit at an increased cost per day of 100000 Rph!!!

Staff were a delight... Great breakfast... Beautiful gardens... We have done lots of travel in Bali over the last 40 years and never stayed in Candidasa. What a surprise! Such a relaxed part of Bali. We love a slower pace these days, and Candidasa hit the spot for us. We loved our stay at Genggong... Many thanks to all the staff at this hotel. Your hospitality, kindness and beautiful smiles made us feel very welcomed. Only one thing I can say, and it is a critique that will elevate the atmosphere of your restaurant. Please replace those old worn-out placemats. They have had too much use. Also, maybe a flower, a nighttime a candle... on the table. It will add to the atmosphere of your lovely outdoor dining. No construction work on the beach when we stayed just now. Mid Jan. Restaurants close by. The pool looked like it could do with some chlorine. Was just a bit cloudy. Still had lovely swim in it. Food and beverage not cheap as with most places.

Zimmer im oberen Stockwerk mit bombastischen Ausblick auf das Meer. Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen , teilweiße wurde der Cappuccino beim Frühstück extra berechnet.

Nous avons changé de chambre car la première etait un peu petite à notre goût et nous avons donc payé un surclassement, mais cela valait vraiment le coup. Le personnel était soucieux de notre confort et toujours souriant Le petit-déjeuner était très bien, complet et avec du choix. Le restaurant était excellent. La plage etait facilement praticable pour se baigner. La piscine très bien également. Service de blanchisserie rapide et efficace. Proche de tous commerces. Rien à dire , tout était bien.

B. nicht Neu gekauft). Gäste aus einem Kriegsprovozierenden Land (R.), Möbel sind in die Jahre gekommen, Bettlacken fleckig (gewaschen, aber fleckig), alles wirkt etwas Ungepflegt für den für Bali teuren Preis. Teuerstes Hotel, das wir auf Bali hatten und gleichzeitig das Ungepflegteste. Qualität der Einrichtung entspricht nicht den Bildern. Wir sind auswärts Essen gegangen, in der Nachbarschaft liegen wesentlich bessere Hotels, Meer nur bedingt zum Schnorcheln geeignet (alles vor dem Steg, wegen der Strömung), viele tote Korallen und Müll im Meer (Bali hat im Allgemein ein Problem damit)

• Fernando (2/5): - I don't understand why this hotel has a high rating and good reviews. The hotel in general is very simple and doesn't show it is well maintained. It doesn't have a good beach and its full of boats. The worst part was the room, it was dirty everywhere. Looks like they have very low standards of cleaning. I am glad I booked the hotel for one night only.
• Terry Lobert (9/5): Wonderful stay would gladly stay again in the future. - The room was very spacious with a great view of the ocean and a larger than usual balcony. The restaurant was especially good catering to my wife's food allergies. And the staff were exceptional and very friendly. I am loathed to find fault as I had a lovely stay. The only thing was the towels smelled very musty which made the bathroom smell musty too. Even the beach towels smelled musty.

• Ayça (9/5): Good choice - Great hotel. If you are specifically looking for a sea front hotel this is the right choice. There is also a beautiful pool. Staff is very friendly and nice. They try to accommodate your every need. The rooms are clean and spacious. However you can see that the hotel is a bit old and in need of some renovations. In any case it's good value for the money. The breakfast was adequate. It is not buffet breakfast, you can choose 3 items on the menu. It gets the job done but might get boring for some people after a certain time. The beach is clean but there is no place to lay on the beach. You can just walk right down from the hotel pool to the ocean, swim and come back out to the hotel pool. We haven't tried the hotel restaurant but there are a lot of nice choices around the hotel even within the walking distance. In general, great choice for a few nights if you are looking for a nice, reasonably priced, ocean front Hotel in Bali. Other than the things I have mentioned above, the towels kind of had that smell when they are left damp for a long time. But I think that's just because of the humidity in the area and that it takes a while for the clothes to fully dry. Also the sheets and the towels had like faint make-up stains. But I guess because of their old experiences, they make you sign a document upon check-in where you undertake not to leave stains on the towels and sheets and not to damage other furniture, otherwise you'd be liable for the damages caused. Understandable though. Still a good place for a few nights if you don't have high expectations.

• Amy (10/5): Loved our stay! - A beautiful property on the beachfront. The beach was perfect for swimming, and the pool was great for sunbaking and a swim. The room was very comfortable - good bed, big bathroom, TV with netflix to unwind after a big day. The breakfast was good - there was a menu with different choices and guests select one choice and one juice each morning plus a plate of fruit. The staff were really lovely and helpful. Good spot close to restaurants, warungs, convenience store, and attractions like Tirta Gangga and Virgin Beach. Nothing.

• Blanka (10/5): - This was our second stay at this property. The views from our room were beautiful. It is so nice to hear the sea in the morning. The staff are lovely. There is plenty of places to eat or have a massage close by.
• Jenni (10/5): Beautiful! We didn’t want to leave! - We absolutely loved our stay at Genggong! It’s a lovely little place very quiet and on the beach. We were in room 21 and had the perfect view of the beautiful blue ocean. The staff were all lovely friendly and very helpful. It’s a short 10 minute walk into the town and lotus pond which was beautiful full of pink Lillie’s which only bloom in the mornings! We highly recommend Genggong and would definitely go back there! Nothing!

• Fabien (10/5): Repos, beau cadre, excellent service - Personnel très chaleureux et aux petits soins, hôtel de taille familiale, on s’y sent chez soi. Vue des chambres imprenables sur la mer, très beau paysage. Restaurant très bon et service impeccable. Un havre de paix à Manggis, à l’écart du vacarme de la rue principale. Plage peu praticable mais Virgin Beach a un jet de pierre. Excursion snorckling avec prise en charge sur la plage de l’hôtel. Rien.

• Adrienne (10/5): Paradise found! - Our room had the most beautiful view! It was super clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze. Staff helped carry luggage to our room and we were just in awe of the view. It was a nice large room with a refrigerator. It Also had a seating area and large balcony. The pool on property was nice. The restaurant was delicious! Eka and all the staff there were amazing. Very attentive. We couldn't have had a better stay anywhere else. We highly recommend this Hotel!!! Not one single thing!
• Laura (8/5): - Die Lage ist super! Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und mit direktem Zugang zum Meer! Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück war völlig ausreichend und es wurde immer angeboten Nachschlag zu bringen. Bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten kann ich das Hotel gut weiterempfehlen. Ein wenig könnte mehr auf die Sauberkeit geachtet werden (Bettwäsche sehr vergilbt und roch modrig).
• Shannon (7/5): Good room and ocean front . Pleasant - I had room number 1 - Deluxe , was very happy with the room , spacious, clean , good size bathroom, couch . Very comfortable I think new pool beds and cushions would make it look more appealing, just looks a little tired . On checkin we had to sign something with regards to any stains on sheets or towels - totally unacceptable and just gives you a bad feeling from the start .

• Robert Jan (8/5): Comfortabel hotel aan zee - We hadden een kamer op de 1e etage De grote ramen gaven een prachtig uitzicht op zee. Ook het balkon was erg fijn met goede stoelen. Het zwembad was fijn en ook de ruime en nette tuin. Het gebouw zelf ziet er wat ouder uit. Het oogt niet direct als een 4 sterren hotel. Met een lik verf en het vervangen van kapotte kussens op de ligbedden ziet het er aantrekkelijker uit.
• B+F (9/5): Tolle Unterkunft für Ruhe suchende. - Alles andere. Lage, Personal, Frühstück... alles topp. Wer Ruhe haben will, ist hier genau richtig. Altes Bali. Im Prinzip nichts. Es sollten zumindest am Bungalow Sanierungen stattfinden. Die Klimaanlage ist alt und nicht gerade leise, Kühlung geht so.
