- Juan (7/5): Great price - Respect and answer all my questions
- Thomas (7/5): Which day again - It was very convenient to the event that we were attending The ice machine was not working
- Pancheeva (2/5): - Dirty place
- Richard (8/5): Very good - Price and comfort No ice machine
- Brown (9/5): Superb - The cost.. NA
- Kimberly (6/5): Will do in a pinch but not worth $88. - Not much Old and not kept nicely updated. Mattresses are old and worn around edges.
- Aaron (10/5): - Super basic, but neat and clean. Just what I'm looking for.
- Francis (4/5): - No adequate linen
- Danysia (1/5): Bad -
- Susan (6/5): - The location was good for my situation but it is, as are nearly all the motels in Jacksonville area, right beside a busy highway so it was loud. It's an old property and rather run down, and there were very few amenities. However everything, including microwave and 'frig (with separate freezer) worked. It was quite inexpensive and was about as clean as an older property like this can be gotten. It suited me quite okay.
- Jon (6/5): Even with the great price, still a bit disappointed. - Price was great - but still you don't expect any issues, regardless of price, and there were a few. Check-in took a bit longer than expected. Since I was standing outside and not allowed into the lobby, this could be really annoying during inclement weather. Water spigots on tub were reversed (hot was cold, cold was hot). Wasted a bathtub full of water trying to figure out why I wasn't getting hot water. Pillows were pretty sad and gave little neck support. Not sure why I got a message from Booking dot com afterward asking if I actually checked in. Something is amiss with the check-in process and Booking getting informed. Now I'm wondering if I was charged correctly.
- Judy (2/5): - We arrived at 2 in the morning and left at 7:30am, so didn't have much of a look around. The room itself appeared clean, but when the sheets were pulled back, there were little handfuls of long hair, and when we woke in the morning it was to find a cockroach crawling in one of our duffle bags. When said bag was dropped in shock, a larger, dead cockroach was blown out from under the bed. There were not enough towels/wash rags, and the toilet was reluctant to flush, and only 2 tiny bars of soap. The best thing going for this place, is how close it is to the Marine Corps base for family days, and graduations.
- Cody (7/5): Good -
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ruth (8/5): - It was convenient for me to get it. However the tub was lower then the floor my husband almost fell because of the difference of the level 's . I'm glad I was there to catch him. Overall the place was what I expected.
- Claude (10/5): Exceptional - Owner and staff Chattered to my needs
- Jermale (8/5): - Money back give cash app $Jermalehinton38 Add
- Angela (5/5): IT WAS OKAY FOR OUR PURPOSE TO VISIT SOMEONE. - IT WAS CLOSE TO THE PERSON WE VISITED. WE WERE ISSUED ONLY A TOWEL AND WASHCLOTH PER DAY, NO HAND TOWELS. NO KLEENEX OR TOWEL RACKS IN THE ROOM.
- Makayla (7/5): Good - Shower was leaky
- Youthella (10/5): Exceptional - The room small but comfortable. Quietl location. Motel accessible to restaurants and gas stations. My card key would not work well on the door to open when we got there and when we left hotel and returned at
approximately 3 in the morning, had to get a workable new key card.
- Jim (8/5): - Good for the price
- Mary (3/5): Poor - Quiet. Towels were small and thin. Floors felt sticky. AC was preset to 75. It was hot and humid in the room.
- Pat (8/5): Very good -
- Sulaf (4/5): Disappointing - Weak internet
TV-no signal
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Joseph (2/5): Your motel SUCKS - I didn’t stay there, we had travel problems and got there about 2am. We were told they couldn’t rent after a certain time. I showed him my # for my rental . He said no way. He wouldn’t accept my confirmation # ,but no way . I had to find another rental at 2AM in a place I had never been to.
- Rene (5/5): Passable -
- Terry (8/5): Very good -
- bonnie (8/5): - the place was older but basically very clean. did not have smoke smell nor nasty chemical smell. carpet was older but basically clean. looks like they have kept up with painting to keep things fresh looking. area was older and seemed a little seedy, but everything was quite fine. worth staying at.
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Pat (8/5): Value for what you get - loved the quietness all was good
- Melanie (10/5): Convenient and comfortable! - I only stayed for 1 night for my husbands MCT graduation. The motel is less than 5 minutes from Camp Geiger so area was super convenient! Nothing everything was fine!
- Richard (9/5): It was a great stay. - It was very reasonable priced and clean. Very near our family that lives up there. The bathroom could use a little remodel.
- David (10/5): - If you're looking for the Hilton Hotel you won't find it. What you will find is a clean well priced motel with friendly staff and sufficient rooms.
- Pedro (10/5): - Yo be a small hotel 8/10 very clean and plp very nice
- sabrina (8/5): It works - I will start this off by saying I have pretty high standards when it comes to hotels. (Area, sketchiness, cleanliness.) I stay at Coastal Motel every time I visit my husband who is at Camp Johnson. It’s a fair price for a basic stay. Nothing fancy, nothing bad. Only complaint I have is one of the times I stayed there, there was a huge roach. (Had my husband kill it lol) I’ve had the same room every single time though and that’s only happened once. Area isn’t bad. Base is literally right across the street. Gas station and food lion just a small walk away. Traffic is pretty harsh at all times. (You WILL hear cars and sirens every single night but that’s just Jacksonville and it’s easy to get used to.) Definitely recommend if you are on a budget and visiting a loved one at Camp Lejeune.
- Irina (6/5): - Very basic. Very noisy from outside since the main road there. No extra outlets to fulfill current multi gadgets world. Only one outlet at the door and no any tables/etc near by it. Another - in the bathroom. This is what I don’t like about cheap motels/hotels. Everything else could be acceptable.
- William (4/5): - Very tiny room. Bath towels were stained and like sandpaper. Bath tub had no mat and very slippery.
- Michael (6/5): - Decent road side motel for a one night stay
- Robyn (10/5): Great Hotel - Arrived in the evening. The service was great. The room was a little dated but the bed was comfortable. It had ac works great the shower is hot. I’d stay again.
- Sincere (2/5): - The staff was plain rude
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The motel is really simple. And the city is nice.
- Jem (6/5): Passable Cheap Hotel - Wifi was spotty, water pressure in shower was low, ice machine didn't work. Fortunately for them, the "going rate" for hotel rooms is pretty high; otherwise $72 for a night would be a little silly.
- Carlene (8/5): Good cheap room - For cheap room it was clean and what we expected. Only thing we didn’t like was 2 double beds were really 1 double bed cut into. Not enough room for me and my husband to move without falling out of the bed lol but we made due and enjoyed our beach try. I would use again for sure. Gives us more money to spend on our beach trip
- stephanie (6/5): It was Alright! - Motel wasn’t terrible. It was a good value for the low price we paid. A/C worked great. Bed was comfortable for me but not for my hubby. Mattress was coming apart when we checked for bedbugs. (Didn’t see any). Furniture was worn out. With some paint and more importantly updating it could be a nice place. I will say it was very quite and not one bothered us.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was a little small. And there weren't enough outlets but it was clean. The price was great. A little outdated but I would stay there again
- PORNTHEP (6/5): Don’t Try - The room and it’s amenities is just not worth for the expensive root rate. Internet speed is slower than 2G. Don’t waste your money here
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The place was afordable, clean and convienient location.
- James (6/5): On My Way To Myrtle - one night stay while on my way to my final destination, it's a very basic motel with very limited amenities (i.e. no coffee in room, but there is a microwave and fridge). Area might seem risky to some. It was basically clean and compared to other hotels it was more cost effective for my purpose
- Jake (2/5): Bad service - Musty room horrible service
- Verified traveler (6/5): - WiFi password didn’t work and I checked in late/out early so it wasn’t worth getting the correct one. Overpriced for what you get, but it is priced for the area I guess.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Was a nice clean room. Quiet enjoyed the stay. I will definitely go back
- Betty (6/5): - Cockroaches
- Donna (8/5): - It’s was clean staff was pleasant food places easy to get too but traffic was terrible
- Brittany (8/5): - Very clean room and awesome bathroom but the tub could use a drain stopper and a tub mat almost slepped getting in.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I were there with my family. They only gave us two tásela
- Elizabeth (8/5): Topsail shores inn is lovely - Fun and relaxing inn within a short driving distance to the beach.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Rude the staff were very weird acting. Seemed very sketchy
- Amanda (2/5): - Reservation was canceled before i even got there and thwn they refused to rent me a room
- Crystal (8/5): Clean! - Very nice service and very clean rooms. Not a 5 star hotel but great place to stay for the weekend.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Staff not that friendly since under new management
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The stay would have been fine, but we rented two rooms, and found cockroaches in both. Property owners need an exterminator.
- William (10/5): Just what I was looking for ! - I call for booking online because I would be towing a trailer behind my pickup and needed a place to park. The lady said they had room for me to park my truck and trailer. When I arrived the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was very quiet around the hotel so I got a really good night sleep. I would most definitely stay there again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - it was ok No laundry facilities as stated . Room was dated but clean. fridge didn't stay cold, no microwave.
- Traveler (8/5): - A little run down. Ice machine broke, beds creaky and door hinges need oiling.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It’s not a new property by any stretch of the imagination and things are worn down however it’s very clean and the staff is super nice and attentive. Phenomenal value for the money.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Proximity to USMC bases at Geiger and LeJeune is good. Very clean rooms, beds are comfortable. Air conditioning is incredible.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I love that we were in a smoking room (I wasn't paying attention when I bookes
- Mariah (2/5): - This motel was the most absolutely disgusting. There were multiple dead cockroaches swept under the night stand. The room smelled very very musty. I did find three live cockroaches crawling in the bathroom in the shower. The shower curtain was very very dirty as well as the comforter. Please, do not stay at this disgusting dirty motel. By far the nastiest motel I have ever stayed at.
- Larry (6/5): Just OK - Clean room. Not much shower pressure. OK
- Tiffany (8/5): - It’s ok not bad if you come for visit your marine. It’s very closed to Marine Corps Base. Enjoy your trip
- Mary (10/5): Good - It was a very good stay. Will stay again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Staff not serviceable. Room didn’t have cups, ice bucket, napkins. When I asked the front desk for these items neither did they.
- LouAnna (4/5): Roach Motel - As we opened the door and entered the room, we were greeted by cockroaches scurrying across the wall. The carpet was old and stained, so we kept our shoes on while in the room. The bed wasn't too bad, although it was hard to sleep- thoughts of roaches walking across me kept me up all night.
- Michael (8/5): Antiquated motel - The room in which I stayed in had zero registers for ventilation into the room. The room air was stuffy. The bathroom was updated and clean. The mattress was really comfortable. The front desk is the room service. A major plus was a full guide of premium cable channels to view.
All in all Id rate my stay a 6 out of 10.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It is immaculate! Just wish there was a top sheet on our bed. I’m not a millennial I use a top sheet! Lol
