Gebuchte Massage wurde im Zimmer durchgeführt. 5 Dollar kostet der Transfer mit Taxi zum Hotel. Ausblick aus Zi 2 war nicht so schön. Zum Sandstrand ca. 20min Fußweg.

Francoistorres (8/5): Great staff! - The staff was really helpful and attentive, always had good recommendations for places to see and facilitated taxis when necessary. The room was spacious, good air conditioning, fast wifi, and good water pressure in the shower. The space felt safe and it was well kept. Walking distance to playa murciélago, shopping and restaurants. I felt it was overpriced, but then again, in my opinion so was everything in Manta.

Our "welcome" was not very friendly. The manager didn't like us very much and we noticed it and the boy at the front desk tried to fool us with the room (saying that the one we picked was not available for us if we do the booking through the platform, also for a mysterious reason our credit card didn't work!! He was not expecting for us to pay cash). They also advised us of a big university group coming saying that we should know in advance we wouldn't be able to sleep!!! Not their problem. Indeed, the noise was very loud the first night but the second one we asked the group for silence and the were very respectful and went to their rooms earlier.

Kathryn (10/5): - We stayed two nights at Hostel Antares. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were in decent walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the beach. The staff was friendly, and some spoke English. The breakfast was good with a full bowl of delicious fresh fruit, coffee, juice, an egg and there was something else as well, but I can't remember what! The water from the tap is not filtered, so you will want to make sure to purchase some bottled water from a store, or you can buy some from their stocked mini fridge for a bit more. There was great security, and you had to be buzzed in an out of the front gate to come in or leave. The night we arrived, I was sick due to a crazy bus ride! They had plenty of power aid on hand for me, which was a huge blessing! We would stay here again.

Verified traveler (6/5): Regretted this choice - I was given the lousiest room in the Hostel, facing to the backyard and to the wall of the opposite house. I.e. no view whatsoever, no balcony. Very dark. Distance to the sea is 100 meters - that is true: there is a steep hill full of garbage behind a rotten fence. Disgusting. At the weekend the pool area and the pool were occupied by families who did not necessarily live there. Because they wanted the payment as soon as I arrived, I stayed there several nights but I cannot recommend the place to anyone.

Stella (8/5): Good value for the money - The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was adequate and the bed comfortable, but the shower was weak with limited warm water. The whirlpool was not operating but the pool was cool and refreshing. Need to be able to navigate stairs as there are no rooms on the main floor. Breakfast was limited but fresh... eggs cooked to order. A little hard to find as the entrance is not clearly marked. Only a block off the beach :)
