The staff were so friendly and helpful and way beyond what we could have expected. The room was nice and clean and got everything we needed - and for a really good price as well.

This hotel lacated at "backpacker" area, close to popular "walking street", this area so many tourists from western ... Surrounding by massages, cafes, restourants, shops, close to the huge park, travel agent, tour kiosks, walking distance to attractive ho chi minh city ... The hotel itself on a narrow alley, very small room, small tv, mini fridge, safety box, coffee/tea maker, cool aircon, clean bathroom, bed/pillow not so good, staff very friendly, special miss jade and miss miki ... Location is the best in district 1
- alexh11494 (6/5): Pros and cons - My girlfriend and I stayed in a private room consisting of a bunk bed. The room was very small and cramped for two people and to be honest the pictures are quite deceiving. We were stepping on each others toes a lot and there was barely room for two bags. The beds were not comfortable at all, the mattress was thin and hard and the blanket provided was not the best. There was no curtain covering the main window in the room meaning there was little privacy. The beds though did have their own curtain which was good. The rooms come equipped with shampoo, towels and soap and the showers are hot, which is great. There is a safe in the room for small items such as passports and money. The WiFi in the rooms is absolutely useless and we could barely book a bus online when in our room. The hotel is very clean and our room was also clean. There was a sign on our toilet when we arrived to state that it has been disinfected and cleaned properly which was good considering the corona virus. There are some nice hotel staff members (the male with the cleft lip and glasses on reception was super friendly) and there was also some seemingly unwelcoming staff members (the other male, who clearly felt uncomfortable being around tourists at the time of the corona virus). The hotel offers assistance with booking tours to the Cu Chi tunnels and other activities which is great, although the tour for the Cu Chi tunnels we found to very poor. The hotel breakfast was a very low point. Despite it being included in the room rate, it consists of not good tasting rice / noodles as the hot choices, and there is bread, butter, jam and a selection of fruit and juices. We didn’t enjoy the breakfasts at all. The hotel is located down a very strange alleyway however it was quiet on a night time which was good. Overall, some pros and cons with this hotel but we wouldn’t come back and stay here again.

- chitpius (10/5): THE BEST ROOM RATE AND EXCELLENT LOCATION - One of the most enjoyable trips of 2019 was the journey to Hochi Minh City in Vietnam with my wife on an Emirates non-stop flight from Dubai, United Arab Emirates..Formerly known as Saigon, the new Ho Chi Minh City is a city that everyone can enjoy.I was staying at the Galaxy Boutique Hotel and i was offered a very good rate. Because of the excellent location of this hotel, I could save a lot of money. Daily Free buffet style breakfast was very good. I paid just $2.00 and reached the hotel from the airport by bus. On the way to the airport also, we were able to get on the bus for $ 2.00.. We had the opportunity to visit the CU CHI TUNNELS used by the Viet Cong guerrillas during the Vietnam War. Have you heard of Snake wine, a unique opportunity awaits you to discover its flavor.Snake wine is an alcoholic beverage produced by infusing whole snakes in rice wine or grain alcohol. Bui Vien walking street is also not very far from the hotel and you should not miss it. It has it all,good bars,cafes, restaurants,shops,massage parlours and more.. Ben Thanh Market is not very far from the hotel so we visited this market a few times. there are many good items available at very good rates. . We have had the opportunity to eat tropical fruits such as mangosteen, lychee and dragonfruit, which are not common in other countries but are common in South East Asian countries. A big thank you to all at Galaxy Boutique hotel who made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

- Bryan (8/5): Good breakfast. - Breakfast was surprisingly good. I like the different choices thought some may not be to my taste. Some good choices like potato with beef stew would be gone quickly, and they don't refill. You will find good fruits every day. I especially like the tiny bananas (one or 2 inches in sizes) and dragon fruit. Maybe it was just in my room that the water in the shower got just a little above the room temperature of the water from the sink. Thus, I could not expect to get a warm shower. It was okay to me since hcmc was hot and humid. I also like the giant swan lake picture that's hang outside the dinner room.

Just eggs, fruit, and coffee or tea. Wake up early if you want any fruit, as they don't replenish it after an hour or so.

Clean bed, clean blanket. Staff is friendly and put on a smile when serving you. They also take the effort to secure your passport for you when you check in (is compulsory). When we are leaving the hotel, the hotel staff gently reminded us about safety and to remember to take care of our belonging. Breakfast starts at 7am to 9.30am. The menu is the same daily. Bread with a choice of scrambled eggs / fried eggs / omelette. Overall, pleasant stay in the hotel.

- Azhani (8/5): Nice hotel with Elevator ^^ - Nice and comfortable room. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They helped my friend to follow up with the tailor and make sure she gets her clothes before we going to the airport. So glad there were no airport drama! xD The only drawback are no free-flow/ complimentary drinking water and the toiletries were too limited (not enough during our staying). Not sure if they will top up, but please prepare your own toiletries too!

- YONGWOO (8/5): 가격대비 괜찮은 숙박시설 - 베개에서 냄새가 나서 바꿨습니다. 위치가 골목 안쪽에 있어서 처음에 찾는게 어려웠지만 주변 위치는 나쁘지 않아요~ 여행자거리이며 밤에 나가면 각국에서 여행온 여행자들을 만날수 있습니다~ 가격대비 개인적으로는 괜찮은 숙박업소이며 저는 좋았습니다
- Brian (8/5): Pretty nice hotel - The hotel located at small lane and a little bit difficult to find. The place is clean, there are some ants in the room but not a big problem. The bathroom is strangely designed and the door cannot be closed because the sink is blocking it. I am staying at a single room so it is fine. There are 3 hangers in the room and one of them is broken. They have laundry service, reasonably priced, but I find my clothes have little holes opened after laundry, probably because they "staple" clothes together for easier management, that is bad.
- Masakado (6/5): 仮眠用として使用しました！ - メインストリートより細い路地を入ったところにあり、見つけるのに苦労しました！（メインストリートに日本人がいるお店があったので、道を尋ねました） スタッフは親切！空港までのタクシーチケットも購入でき、予約もしてくれたので助かりました。（空港到着時、追加の料金とかは取られず安心して乗れました！）wifiもしっかり飛んでいて、問題ありません。共用シャワーに石鹸・シャンプー・ドライヤーはありませんので、持参が必要です。

Help arranging tours. Clean dormitory and bathroom. Fresh towels everyday. Comfortable social area. Close to shops, restaurants and Sinh Tourist office (bus company) -Small dorm without enough room to accommodate luggage. Only three showers and toilets which could be an issue if the dorm is full. Although the name capsule is used, there are no curtains so privacy is not great in the dorm

- Woojin (8/5): 괜찮은 도미토리 - 위치, 청결, 서비스 모두 좋습니다. 캡슐에서 처음 지내봤는데 에어콘에서 먼 쪽 캡슐에는 바람이 잘 안들어와서 덥더군요.

- Verified traveler (6/5): A convenient spot - Clean, neat and tidy, but rather small. We booked a triple room for 2 nights, but when we arrived we were told the 'boss' forgot to tell them that and we were offered 3 capsules for the first night instead. It's a good experience sleeping in a capsule, meeting new friends and all. The problem is, however, it is difficult to avoid people who snore during the night! Simple breakfast with egg of your choice, juice, tea, coffee, fruit and bread.
