• Francisco José (10/5): Repetiría sin duda - La habitación muy cómoda, grande y muy luminosa, la cama estupenda, grande y muy cómoda, lo mismo las almohadas, hay de distintos tipos. La ubicación no puede ser mejor, en un barrio con ambiente para cenar, al lado del tranvía que lleva a la zona antigua, y también del tram que sube a túnel para ver galata de bajada, y al lado de los barcos para ir a Otarkoy o la parte asiática. El personal muy amable. Tuvimos oportunidad de usar el spa, hay sauna y baño de vapor gratis, los masajes de pago, pero estupendos. Hay cafetera de cápsulas, lo cual me encanta, pero no hay cápsulas. Las pudimos comprar en un carrefour cercano, pero hay que saber cuáles comprar (no son Nespresso, las otras que hay).

• Rrustem (10/5): Super Great Hotel in Karakoy - The Hotel is in Great Location, you have everything near, Trains from Kabatas to Aksaray in this directions you habe AyaSofia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazar, Suleymaniye. You have Tunnel, another Train that send you to Metro Station, Taksim, 7min walk to Galata Tower, 4min Walk to GalataPort, 5min Walk to Train and Tunnel. Serkan or Serhat the receptionist was very friendly person and traited us very well. Hotel was super Clean, i was with my family and they prepared rooms very well, the Hotel gived me two rooms with connection door🙏🙏.

We visit Istanbul 3/4 times a year, and there is nowhere else we would rather stay. Sevim the hotel manager always goes above and beyond to ensure that our stay runs as smoothly as possible. The hotel is also dog friendly which is great! I would highly recommend this hotel!

• Suleyman (1/5): Disappointing customer service and run poorly in such a great location - The only two good things were the location of the hotel and Omayma (staff member) she was helpful, always happy and had fantastic service. The entire 8 night experience was disgusting with the shower leaking so they called in a service person without our knowledge who put silicone everywhere in the shower and left dry pieces with the smell all around d the room because he didn’t think to open the window. We changed rooms for only one night because the room we went into was apparently booked so when they moved us to our 3rd room the shower head wouldn’t engage properly as the tap connector kept springing back meaning only the tap would work consistently. The following morning after already raising the issue with one of the workers the other short old staff member said you must not know how to use the shower. I told him to come up and I’ll show him if I know or don’t know how to use a shower. Overall disgusting customer service where they force the customer to be rude/aggressive for them to do anything.

• Esma (1/5): - leider muss ich mich über die mangelhafte Zimmerreinigung beschweren. Während meines Aufenthalts wurde weder gesaugt noch das Badezimmer gereinigt. Obwohl ich dieses Problem dreimal an der Rezeption gemeldet habe, wurde keinerlei Maßnahme ergriffen. Das entspricht nicht dem erwarteten Standard und war sehr enttäuschend.

• Ali (10/5): Our home in Istanbul - Morione is our go to hotel when in Istanbul, and for so many reasons. The hotel is dog friendly, which is amazing!! The location is perfect, as you are in the heart of the city with many transport links to the rest of Istanbul. The staff are so friendly, and we always feel like home when we return. Sevim the manager always greets us with open arms, and even bakes us cake, what more could you ask for. Always a great experience!

• Maksim (9/5): Было замечательно, хотелось бы подольше.... - Прекрасное расположение, лекко добраться хоть до пляжа, хоть до площади Таксим или Султанахмета. Замечательный улыбчивый персонал и две симпатичные собачки при отеле. Завтраки немного однообразные, но есть из чего выбрать, нам было нормально. Кровати очень прикольные - по два матраса, первое впечатление - как в детстве на возу соломы едешь и покачиваешься. Но спалось хорошо. Немного барахлил замок двери, но на второй день его всё-таки победили (починили) без нашего участия ;)

Cleanliness needs to be improved, the towels were not that clean, there was hair in the towels and on the floor of the room and bathroom. Noisy, street noise and horns very loud. The manager tried to give me a smaller room than the one I booked in the beginning. They only give complimentary water bottles in the first day.

Two hair clips were taken from our room while we were out visiting the city, and hotel management was not interested into investigate the matter.

• 393minav (2/5): Is a good location worth the worst service? - If you’re thinking about booking a room in this hotel, be extra careful of leaving your stuff in the room. Some of my things just “vanished” in the last 4 days that I’ve stayed here and the staff couldn’t be more uninterested. Overall, the hotel is in a good location. The price for breakfast is €15 per morning, which is far more than eating in any coffee shop/ restaurant near the place.

The buffet breakfast is not good, €15pp and extra if you want coffee. We had it twice and both mornings we went down at 9.30am to find barely any food left and everything was cold. Staff were also not super friendly. We asked to use the sauna one night and the man at reception didn’t want to turn it on for us, despite this being a spa hotel. The steam room was not available.

Good value for money, in a very expensive city. Slow wifi. The bathroom had no window and the door was a glass door. • Ursula (10/5): Karakoy's recommended Stay - The greeting from Serhat was great and he was able to upgrade our room to superior and we were grateful for it. The location is perfect just 2 min away from the seaside, 2 min away from the public transportation, also 2 min and you'll be next to the pubs and restaurants nearby and proximity to Galata Port. Superior room is good for 3 family members. We requested the crib in our booking and they have provided it. We didn't try breakfast. The room is clean and breathable with 3 big windows size floors to ceiling in addition to good lighting as per the shared pictures. The bed is comfortable and they come clean and tidy the room every day as long as u put the sign outside your room. Toiletries provided. We will definitely be back to this hotel. Great value for money. U need to ask for towels to be changed.

Every conversation and sound from the next room could be heard very clearly, including the sounds in the toilet. The glass door of the toilet is directly opposite the bed at a distance of 1m, in the door approx. 1cm gap, no sense of privacy. Toilet paper was only replenished after a reminder the next day. Very poor breakfast. Every morning the same menu - the small portion of omlet, few pieces of cheese, cucumbers and tomatos, bread. A couple of pieces of watermelon and melon were served only on the first day. No juice, only weak cofee or tee (the tee was good). The safe was not in technical order, nothing was repaired, so we did not use it. The decoration of the bathroom has long been in need of cosmetic repair. In some places, the tiles are already loose, the gaps are very carelessly covered with "mountains" of silicone. When leaving, the staff didn't even ask if we were satisfied with our stay at the hotel.
