- Charlotte (1/5): Awful - Very little, if anything The property was awful - it had a terrible smell of drains throughout the room, was absolutely filthy with dust everywhere, the lampshade was falling down the lamp and couldn’t stay on, there were pigeons making loud noises, and the street outside was heaving with people partying loudly and car horns blaring into the early hours, the milk at breakfast was like warm, and the parking was almost impossible to find and I couldn’t wait to get out in the morning.

The cleaning was not up to standard, ie the carpet edges had not been cleaned in a long time, and I didn't see any cleaning staff for 2 days. Seems management is not coordinating things well.

- Nathan (8/5): - The rooms were of a high standard. The staff were very pleasant. The shower was very spacious. All areas were clean and tidy. The lighting wasn’t great in the sink/coffee area. There was unfortunately some construction happening over the road that spoilt the view a little and caused a lot of noise in the morning. I understand the hotel cannot help that but was one of the few downsides.

- Andrew (7/5): Was ok but not as seen or described on there page - All staff was pleasant. Very welcoming and when I had an issue was moved room. Breakfast was loverly. Bed was very comfortable When I arrived I was put in a double room when I paid for privilege room. But soon fixed it with a move to a family room. The first night I was there could hear drilling after midnight. There was some maintenance work happening. Plus lift was out of order but was fixed next day. Rather disappointed the room never look like the photos.

- Jacqueline (5/5): I wouldn’t book this hotel again - The location I had initially booked 2 classic double rooms. Following an email I requested an upgrade to a Junior Suite which wasn’t available. They did upgrade me to a Superior Double. The classic double was extremely small with the bed pushed right up against the wall and not a lot of space around it. The superior double was bigger but there was nothing superior about it. The information in the room stared thar breakfast at the weekend finished at 11am, however, on the Saturday we went for breakfast at 10.15 and were informed it finished at 10am. The hotel needs to be fully renovated. In carpets were old and worn and the lift was out of order. Having arthritis in my knees this was far from ideal. The bathroom door in my room had a big hole in the back of it as if somebody had kicked it. My room was near to the fire doors and every time this was opened during the night it slammed shut. The car park was not clearly marked and not easily recognisable and I ended up driving around the one way system 3 times. The receptionist could not advise me what the road opposite the car park was called.

Konumu iyiydi. Tren istasyonuna yürüme mesafesinde. 3 gün kaldım ve asansör hiç çalışmadı, hep bakımda denildi. Fakat düzeltilmesi için herhangi bir çalışma da yapılmıyordu. Eşyalar çok eskimiş ve yıpranmış. Otelin genelinde aynı şekilde eskimiş ve yıpranmış. Çatı katı gibi bir odaydı, yarım ve yüksekte bulunan küçük bir pencere vardı. Dışarı görünmüyordu yani ve duvar dışarıdan su almış, boyalar kabarmıştı. Isıtma sistemi kaldığım odada yoktu elektrikli portatif ısıtma vardı. Ama odaya yetmiyordu. Çok açarsanız oda aşırı sıcak ya da biraz kısınca çok soğuk oluyordu. 3 gün kaldım sadece 1 kere temizlik yapıldı.

The above, unclean, unfriendly no lift and it definitely was not worth the money - I would never return.

- Dennis (3/5): Try elsewhere first - Location Shower, or Hot Water in general, you have to run it for ages to get to lukewarm. Lift out of action. Place grubby. and very run down in general. Breakfast was colder than the hot water, the self serve tea/coffee was even colder and was advised not to have any of the drinks on offer at breakfast in the jugs as they had been the same and untouched for days. Wasn't an expensive hotel, but wished I had paid a little more and gone elsewhere

Es war für 2 Personen gebucht, nur 1x Handtuch, 1x Tasse, vorhanden. Das Frühstück war für 15£ echt schlecht. Joghurt, Mayo und Senf, Müsli abgelaufen, Bananen noch grün, Rührei mit Schale.

- Dave (3/5): Thankfully it was only 3 nights. The bed was comfortable but was looking forward to not staying. - The location was good. The bed was comfortable. Shop next door sells odd stuff and dodgy baccy. Mouldy smell in reception, bathroom smelt of wet dogs, radiator wouldn't turn off, (no aircon), bad carpets. Cleaner stole my plastic bags when I didn't ask for room service on day 2.
- Shelley Wilkes (6/5): - Ideal location, good size room. The receptionist was also having to work the bar. She had obviously not received any training. She had no idea how to pull a pint. We asked for a bottle from the wine list. She had no idea what it was. Then realised they didn't have any. We asked for an alternative which she gave us. We then asked her to open it with a corkscrew but she assured us it was a screw top. We went off to our room and what a surprise, it had a cork! Really think some training is in order! The room wasn't very clean either. The carpet didn't look vacuumed and it was dusty in places.

- can elmas (7/5): İf you have to come to Doncaster this hotel is good - Locaation is great . Personnel is good, breakfast is very good. Locaation is great but Doncaster is a little rundown place. Friday night is very noisy outside. Hotel windows are very thin. Room is small not so nice lighting, carpets are dirty my girlfriend could not even step on. Roughdy people may be staying in hotel, drunk and noisy. Price is expensive for the quality

Bed was comfortable Breakfast was on until 11am (weekends) and we arrived 10:10am. Limited hot food available. There was a lot of hair in the bed. However, the bed was comfortable. I would advised to bring earplugs due to the noise from outside throughout the night. One bedside light wasn't working.

No USB charging points in room, which is an absolute must in 2026. Shower drain was clogged causing the shower tray to overflow all over the bathroom floor. Mattress was too small for the bed base so I kept banging my knee on it moving around the room. I chose to include breakfast with my booking, which was terrible, Sausages and bacon like cardboard and the scrambled egg like sand. I didn't eat it and went to the Wetherspoon 2 minutes away. It's ok to crash for the night and probably just about worth what I paid at £60. If I'd paid more than that my review would be even worse.
