Janice (9/5): Clean with lots of local and historic color - Very clean and with lots of character! The suites were huge and really well equipped. Bathrobes and towels were soft and cozy! Pillows were a bit lumpy.

Mindy (5/5): Beautiful old building but disappointing - The rooms were clean. The space was very comfortable and welcoming. The bed was really cozy. The coffee maker was really dirty. The kitchen only stocked with the bare necessities....plates, glasses, silverware, frying pans. No water, no sharp knives, no cooking oil. They should make that clear so we can bring absolutely everything we need to cook with. The parking was a block away in a parking garage and the charge was $30 extra.

Harald (8/5): zentral gelegen für Kurzaufenthalte - Check in über das Pub nebenan, das hat gut geklappt; sonst habe ich niemanden zu Gesicht bekommen; Lage sehr zentral und in mitten von vielen Lokalen; Küche gut ausgestattet Koffer kann am Tag der Abreise nicht dagelassen werden, weil es kein Personal gibt, bei dem man ihn abgeben könnte, Pub nebenan war in der Früh noch geschlossen; Kühlschrank in der Küche brummt sehr laut, war zu groß, um bewegt und abgesteckt zu werden; bitte mehr Teebeutel bereitstellen, das wäre schön; Stiegenhaus sehr hellhörig

We were only there for a quick sleepover after a wedding, but were impressed if you were to stay longer with the room and amenities. We had specifically booked there so we could go to the bar after our event. it stopped food early and closed up early. There were many places close by though. We had difficulty getting out of the parking garage the next day. Contacting by phone and getting the company that deals with things was more corporate and not customer service friendly. The lady I dealt with later, Heather, was very friendly though and helpful.

Ecaterina (8/5): Cozy, well-furnished, comes with all the small things you didn't know you needed! - The interior was very clean, there was a kitchen with utensils, cups, microwave, stovetop, water kettle, and keurig. The washroom came with small soap, shampoo, specific towels to wash off make-up with, two robes which was a nice touch, very quiet room, felt like a small apartment. I don't like how the front entrance of the room doesn't have some kind of rug or place to put wet shoes, especially now that it is winter. If that would not be possible, some slippers would be nice to make sure the whole room is kept clean!

Steven (9/5): Exceeded our expectations and was very comfortable - The location was perfectly close to everything my partner and I had planed to visit. The room was very spacious and clean. We didn’t use the full kitchen in the room, but it was nice to have. Overall great experience! Our only complaint was that the TV in the bedroom didn’t really work, which was a bit disappointing but we still enjoyed the TV in the living room.

Mignon (8/5): - The suite was very clean and had all amenities. Location is excellent within distance to shopping and many restaurants and transit. Unfortunately the building is not accessible. However I was made aware of this before check-in, but the location was perfect so I made the decision to stay there regardless.
Kelly (10/5): Only an overnight state, but definitely would recommend. - Great location Suite was beautiful, well decorated They did a great job restoring the historic building Not really a complaint but our truck would not fit in the parking garage with the city. The Restaurant staff was nice enough to let us park beside the restaurant overnight. Very accommodating staff.

Alison (10/5): A very enjoyable stay in a very comfortable Suite. - We had a Suite which was very well equipped with a full kitchen. A lovely modern bathroom and an amazingly comfortable bed. Despite being right in the town centre, it was very quiet. The Hotel is a Historic building which has been beautifully restored with very tasteful furnishings from the grandfather clock in the hallway to the fresh flowers in the corridor outside our room. Despite several efforts we couldn't get the bedroom TV to work. It was a Smart TV. Unfortunately we aren't very Smart so an instruction manual or advice sheet would have been helpful.

Tommy (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay. I have two comments. One is regards to the height of the bed. It was a bit difficult to get into bed as I am short. It would have been nice to have a foot stool to make it easier to get in and out of bed. The other comment is regarding the bathtub. Despite having slip stripes on the bottom of the bathtub, I found it still slippery. I would suggest adding a bar to have more stability while taking a shower.
Joe (8/5): - The hotel and the room were great, but the check-in person we dealt with was rude, dismissive, flat out unhelpful. She seemed almost frustrated with us that we arrived for our stay. A man sitting at the bar was offered more direction and helpful information than the employee. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The streets outside were crowded with open air drug use, overflowing garbage cans, and crowds of homeless blocking doors and stairs. Dining in the area offers plenty of choices. We had a few good meals. Parking on Saturday night was free, as we parked our car on the street until 9 and then moved it into the city lot.

You can park on the street if you can find parking or park in the garage where you do have to pay for. The hotel and restaurant are separate with separate entrances which is nice and felt safe. The only way to get in is by talking to the host in the restaurant. You don’t really talk to staff or see any staff

Martin (10/5): - Entry was as stated in the confirmation email and was very easy. Great location to enjoy downtown Guelph. Overnight parking at the municipal garage was easy and very reasonable. Checking out was easy too - just drop the fob off in the box before we exited the building. The price was the best I have ever found in Guelph and the valve was excellent.
