- murray (10/5): see what did you like - great location helpful and friendly staff excellent dinner nothing
- John (8/5): - Excellent location and room very comfortable.
- Dianne (5/5): - Uncomfortable bed out dated room
- Anna (9/5): -
- Petra (9/5): Great location, lovely view, friendly, comfortable, and clean. :) - Great location, lovely view (shown in photo), friendly, comfortable, and clean. :) Nothing. It was a perfectly serviceable crash pad for the night. :)
- mark (8/5): -
- Tim (6/5): Great location - Location
- Lorette (7/5): - Brilliant shower very comfortable beds. Great location. Bit dated and smaller than the photos
- Yitian (6/5): - A very cozy small room. Window view is so good. have no table to have our breakfast.
- Bernadette-Marea (7/5): Fairly enjoyable …… - Great Location … Different room ….
- Helen (7/5): - Location A little cramped
- Garry (8/5): - Bed was comfortable. Roomy. Very drafty when bathroom fan on. Hot water mix in shower faded hot to cold a bit.
- Cheryl (3/5): Never again as it is at the moment. - The location The advertising pictures for the rooms are 8 years old , ( so we were told on questioning the rooms state ) and the rooms look nothing at all like the advertised pictures. The rooms need a serious upgrade. The one chair was broken and couldn’t be sat on. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows absolutely awful. The furniture was shoddy. I didn’t want to take my socks off as the carpet was so stained. The only reason we didn’t request a refund and go elsewhere was because I did pull the bed back and they were definitely clean sheets, and the bathroom was clean , ( although some mould spray and a scrubbing brush in the corners of the shower would make a difference ).It’s false advertising on the site we booked on to have been shown what it was many years ago, as it is most certainly no longer looking like it was now.
- Joanne (9/5): -
- Erin (6/5): It did what it said on the tin - Location was amazing. The shower was fantastic, was like having a masage. Despite the reviews about how uncomfortable the beds were, I didn't have an issue. Pillows were a bit on the thin side. mould around the shower seal, just muld remover stuff sprayed on it. Carpet in the room was grubby. Definitily wasn't the room in the photos. Over all, was clean, just those couple of things.
- Veronica (9/5): -
- Martin (10/5): Awsome accommodation, location stunning - Cool place to stay , fantastic location No complaints a perfect choice
- Craig (8/5): Great spot - Location is great. Loved staying at a Pub Only negative was the Shower. Water temp constantly changing between cold and hot
- Passebois (8/5): Séjour agréable - Emplacement très bien L’équipement
- Karen (8/5): -
- Debbie (6/5): Tired but clean. Just not for our age group. Suit young couples - Staff friendly Location - not what we expected. No parking. Would suit a young couple for facilities and nightlife
- Charles (6/5): -
- John (8/5): -
- Lynne (1/5): Buyer Beware - Unfortunately we were unable to actually stay in the hotel. The website and information I received intimated that there was parking and the rooms were easily accessed. When we arrived in town the only parking we could find was a loading zone. The room was up a staircase or through the hotel bar. Unsuitable for elderly disabled people. Although the property did look inviting and staff tried to be helpful.
- Clare (9/5): -
- davis (7/5): - The location Could be better in terms of cleanness
- Meighan (6/5): Ok Value for an Overnight Stay in Arrowtown - It was centrally located and we could park just across the road overnight.
We enjoyed a lovely meal at the hotel for dinner. The photos on Booking.com showed the renovated hotel rooms (that’s what we thought we would get?) but ours was a very standard motel/hotel room. No real problem with that as it was reasonably priced - but - the bed was shockingly uncomfortable.
- sunny (10/5): -
- Paddy (8/5): -
- Dani (6/5): Great location but not the most comfortable spot - Great location The lights outside the room were not blocked by the curtains, and the bed was not very comfy
- Angela (4/5): Won’t be staying again - Good tv So noisy, and the heat pump was loud, there was a bad smell in room and there was a dirty hand towel hanging in bathroom. My partner was disappointed with his steak meal for the price and didn’t even come with any sauce
- Rene (8/5): -
- collette (8/5): -
- Justin (6/5): -
- Guiseppina (9/5): - Great central location and spacious room
- Bryony (7/5): - Shower pressure really good and location fantastic and 10% off on food and beverages at pub. Heaters and electric blanket good. Bathroom has bad fan so it was really muggy and wet. Not much ventilation. No sink except for in bathroom so difficult to access water if someone using the bathroom and wash dishes etc. Annoying that pub only opened at 11 and we woke up before that so had to search for food and drinks.
- La Trobe (10/5): -
- Adelma (7/5): Thanks I enjoyed my stay. - Great location , beautiful spot. Not sure about lift access as I had several large bags to take up and down.
- Stuart (9/5): - So handy, very good staff, great meal.
- Keith (10/5): Ill be back . Happily - Fantastic location. Very reasonable. Room was perfect for my needs. Staff were amazing. Nothing
- Steven (9/5): -
- Talia (4/5): It was alright but wouldn’t stay there again not worth the amount we paid - Good location wasn’t too loud for a Friday night The walls had scuff marks everywhere that can be cleaned off with the right products. The shower kept going really hot then cold. The bed sinks in when you lay on it. I feel like the room didn’t look like the photos shown. The carpet is old and stained. Outside smelt like gas and rubbish. Bed side table door was broken, paint was chipped all of the skirting boards. There was only coffee and tea option no hot chocolate. No spare pillows. I’ve stayed in a lot nicer hotels/motels for cheaper even in big cities.
- alex (5/5): Very budget stay but great location - Great location and good with the free parking across the road.
Bed and towels were nice and clean Zero soundproofing. Old and run down. Broken chair in the room, stained old carpet, marked walls.
- Michelle (6/5): -
- Josephine (10/5): -
- Jenny (5/5): Ok value for $, location was great, but photos definitely made hotel rooms look better than they ar - Location couldn't be better 'Room was very rundown and dirty, carpet was absolutely gross and bed terrible
- Cummings (10/5): -
- Kaz (4/5): - The staff were not interested in us took us to room see ya.
The restaurant staff were very noisy at night throwing buckets of bottles into metal containers, had washing machine and dryer going 11pm at night, the apartment was right there by the gate.
- Rob (9/5): -
- Jennifer (10/5): -
- Carolyn (8/5): Great value for money - The location was excellent There was nothing to dislike
- Petrina (7/5): Great location. Comfortable and clean - Lovely location. Attached to pub so able to get meals. The night we stayed ( a Saturday) we could definitely hear the music but seemed to stop about midnight so not too bad
- Christine (6/5): Adequate accomotdaion, good situation. - god position. Comfortable beds No toaster, Nowhere to wash dishes or anything given to do so, Not really really suitable to advertise as an apartment.
- Martin (4/5): - Terrible shower and noisy room.
- Peter (5/5): -
- Joanna (8/5): Definitely stay again, thank you. - Very comfortable stay in the best location in Arrowtown. Dated decor but this matches the good price.
- David (7/5): Busy bar with rooms - Location No staff available before 9am
Poor lighting in small room
- Elizabeth Anne Monique (9/5): -
- Jos (9/5): Prima accommodatie op top locatie - Geweldige ligging midden in historisch stadje
Parkeren op loopafstand NVT
- Rachel (6/5): Nothing fancy, not a hotel experience but does the job - Very central location and does the job for a cheap night in arrowtown. Pub is a lovely place for a drink on the deck. Rooms are over the bins and storage of the pub so can be smelly and loud. Not sure which room is in the listing… but what we got was older and more run down.
- Loraine (8/5): A great place to stay. Perfect location and friendly staff - The location was perfect as we went to millbrook for the Nz Open. Dinner was very good, we met up with a group of friends and each meal was delicious. The facilities had everything we needed. No soap in the bathroom
- Callum (10/5): -
- Rex Hampton (9/5): - Great place. Needed some crockery and cutlery provided in the room for breakfast as none was provided at the hotel.
- Lorraine (7/5): - Right in the heart of . Rooms are above a pub but no unsettling loud noise coming from pub. Although, my room was above a noisy little back street right next to the very popular ice-cream shop. All noise was down to a minimum by 10pm which was pretty good. Read above, covered both good and not so good.
- Qi (6/5): OK - OK OK
- Colette (9/5): - Staff & location N/A
- Maria (10/5): - Great location, easy to get to the all day free parking by using the back entrance. Beds were super compfy
- Vontunzelman (7/5): - Nice ,warm ,comfy Easy access to everywhere Breakfast wasn't available to layer in the morning
- Kit (4/5): - Rent sengetøj tøj. Vandtryk i brusekabine.
Wszystko stare i zdezelowane. Meble jak ze śmietnika. Zdecydowanie nie polecam.
- Annamaria (7/5): I would stay here again - Excellent location, value for money Doors need to be oiled, a little squeaky.
- Christy (8/5): -
- Teresa (9/5): Gutes Hotel mit besondere Atmosphäre - Der Stil des Hotels passte gut zu der Geschichte und war für mich außergewöhnlich.
- Sylvia (9/5): - Good value, centre of main street, great food. Lack of privacy, a net curtain would be good
- Hera (9/5): Perfect location! - Great place to overnight, comfortable spacious room, food from the bar excellent🤌
- Alexandra (6/5): Probs wouldn’t stay again - The location was great and the club food was awesome It wasn’t very clean and there was no room service/daily cleaning
- Zane (9/5): Beautiful location and clean hotel; however, hard to find a park. - My partner and I stayed at this hotel back in 2023 and it was just as amazing as before. The hotel is in a perfect location, with a short 30 second walk to the restaurant. The room, while small, was clean with views out to the street below. There was no noise level from the restaurant that could be heard from the room, only the distant air raid siren of the fire station nearby calling volunteers to action. Wifi at this hotel is great, much better than most high end hotels, and the addition of a sky box connected to the tv allowed us to watch anything we would like. I wish the hotel would designate some parking in the public carpark for hotel guests. My partner and I had to drive around for about 10 minutes trying to find a park, before driving to near the bowls club and walking back to the hotel and moving the car after dinner. The township is becoming too busy with tourists for guests to try and compete in parking their car.
- Laura (9/5): Great place to stay in historical Arrowtown, near Queenstown - Nice, spacious room, clean, comfy bed, good internet connection, thee/coffee, free parking, restaurant. Everything was fine
- Kate (3/5): Fine but needs to be updated. - Location Room was old and needs updating, pillows need replacing, coffee pod machine would be great. Very loud lots of street noise.
- Celia (5/5): Very convenient but dated - Great location and shower The windows were grubby side tables were old needed an upgrade and an assortment of coat hangers showing as there was no wardrobe. The whole room needed a complete upgrade.
- Marie-Christine (8/5): -
- Wendy (5/5): -
- Wieke (7/5): Room average, comfortable bed,, great location - Centre of Arrowtown, restaurant facilities Bit outdated room facilities
- Yu hsuan (6/5): - 位置
- Eliza (10/5): - Very nice room and location No parking
- Kathryn (6/5): -
- Natalie (6/5): - Right in town, close to all the shops and restaurants. Basic but would stay again. Rooms was pretty small. Pub closed at a reasonable hour but the hall is next door who played music very loud till about mid night.
- PR (6/5): Location is good but facilities were old - You are paying for the location. The accommodation is right in the centre of town. Double glazing kept outside noise to a minimum, which is good as our room was right above a busy ice cream parlour. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bar staff who checked us in were pleasant. Things were as clean as the age of the facilities allowed. Everything in the room is very tired/dated. Could hear our neighbour plugging in their appliance/phone. Not sure how thin the walls really were. The room smelled a bit strange, like old coffee grounds/old food. Wouldn't trust the armchair with a person's weight, but it was ok to put a bag on. Shower had mould - could do with replacing the silicone sealant. The water also went from warm to cold then hot and back again, without us touching the handle.
- Aria (7/5): Very practical spot, parking tricky to navigate overall good experience w - The restaurant The shower

Room felt very basic.
