- Karen (10/5): Convenient Apartments, perfect for a weekend Stay - Booked two studios for us and friends on a catch up weekend. Apartments were clean, access easy and communication from management freindly. Beds comfy and rooms clean. Pub 'Seymours' on the corner just up from apartments was about as far as we ventured after a lakeside concert, for a late dinner, and then again for breakfast. City centre a short stroll away. Would definately stay again without hesitation.
- Mandy (10/5): A great place to stay. - Close to the railway station and cbd. Quiet, safe, homely.
We had noisy guests on the first night and that was painful but they left by the second night and we had a great sleep in beautiful surroundings.
Will stay in the apartments whenever we need to be in Ballarat.
- Peter (10/5): convenient and cosy - We enjoyed our stay, it was comfortable, clean and charming and quiet, also well appointed to get around.
- Geoff (8/5): Comfortable Hideaway. - Comfortable little room upstairs. Was a very enjoyable time with a wonderful spa bath. The layout of the room was well thought out.

- Alison (8/5): Central and convenient - Great location withing walking distance to the Ballarat Art Gallery and the centre of town. Train and buses very close so it is easy to get around without a car.
- Allan (6/5): The bed was way TOOO Hard. - We both woke up with really bad bach ache's
Regards Allan

- Teresa (8/5): Nice place to stay, close to train station. - Comfortable place to stay. We arrived by train, and it was a short walk to accomodation. Very convenient.
- Judith (8/5): Lydiard Street apartment - Great studio apartment very convenient to the town so can walk to the galleries and shops. Close to the station but a quiet area. There's a car park as well and the spa bath was a bonus.
We enjoyed our two day stay.
- Noela (10/5): Comfortable and clean - We had a one night stay which was comfortable. Nothing flash but good.
- josie (10/5): Central to tourist spots - comfy and clean - Everything for a short stay is there kitchenette, dining table abd chairs, bathroom , tv, clean bed, no wifi though.

- s (10/5): - Great position. Lovely place. Easy, comfortable great spa, comfortable bed, cute historical building. I'll certainly be back.
- Rebbecca (10/5): The Hidden Jewel In Ballarat's Crown - We were thrilled with this beautiful suite. There was ample room and facilities to boot. The cleanliness was outstanding. The spa was perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchenette has the facilities to cook a roast. We will be back and recommend this accommodation to everyone. The closeness to the hub of Ballarat was wonderful. We parked and walked everywhere. Thank you
- Desolie (10/5): Elegance from yesteryear - but modern - Delightful old building, elegantly refurbished. Loved the bathroom, but would love to see the kitchen stove modernised. Parking was a bit challenging, but doable from the street. No on-site staff, but gentleman who answered our phone call was professional and helpful.
I'd consider staying there if I return to Ballarat.
- David (8/5): Convenient location at an affordable price - Well priced accommodation centrally located in Ballarat within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants
- GIOVANNA (10/5): Clean, tidy and great spa - Relaxing. Overall a great weekend
- Neil (8/5): - Perfect location close to central Ballarat and no street noise.
- Stoff (10/5): Great apartment close to centre of town - Location was key requirement to stay, walking distance to centre of town. Great place, at affordable price. Very comfortable room and great jetted tub to relax in,
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel close to city centre - Lovely to have a spa bath in the room. Even though I was in a room facing the main road the traffic noise was a minimum. I could however hear the neighbours a lot upstairs including each foot step which was annoying for a few hours in the evening. Great location though, 5 min walk to cbd.
- Greg (8/5): Unassuming! Don't tell a book by its cover! - We booked in for one night. But we could have stayed several nights - it is an old revamped building that was pleasant to stay at. It had all that we needed and was comfortable. And the shower is great too! (We like a proper shower when we travel!).
- Verified traveler (8/5): Central Location in Ballarat - It was as i expected - with the essential services plus a bit extra .. ie the spa and fridge
- J. Smith (10/5): Lovely apartment! - Such a cute little room with wonderful space. The spa bath is a huge plus!
- Ruby (10/5): - Helping a friend move to Ballarat, just needed a place to rest my head. It was just as required.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Centrally located - We booked in here because we wanted something reasonably priced and within walking distance of the railway station, the Art Gallery and the CBD. The room was spacious, clean, well-equipped and comfortable. We would stay here again if we were visiting Ballarat. Thanks.
- lisa (10/5): Overnighter - Great homely cottage feel very central
Ballarat is a great spot - you can walk to town, cafes, transport
- Robbie (8/5): comfortable, very clean, neat & affordable apmt. - We were looking for accommodation in Ballarat that did not 'break the bank'. Unfortunately when accommodation is reasonably priced, compromises usually have to be made on comfort, cleanliness etc. But not so with 'Ballarat Serviced Apartments'. We were pleasantly surprised. It was compact, comfortable, extremely clean, with a small kitchen and close to the city centre. Even the correct time displayed on the radio (no big deal, but has never happened in our previous travels) and all facilities in excellent working condition.
- maxine (10/5): great place to stay - host very friendly, and easy to find. very quiet room and good facilities
- russel (10/5): great location and day to find - Would stay there again if staying in Ballarat great location and close to train station and main street
- clerissa (4/5): Very disappointed with management - After not being given a security code to enter the foyer of the building and trying to contact the management for 3 hours to receive this code, I was stuck outside the building inthe cold to which management replied at 10pm saying sorry I got distracted the code is*#*#
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Convenient and comfortable well positioned, quiet.
- Mary Anne (8/5): - The room lacked a comfortable chair/couch - would have rated higher if this was in the room, and not out in the hall entry
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Bad reception no wifi lack service
- sonia (10/5): Like a B&B! - Quaint, charming come to mind and yet a pleasant surprise to have a spa in the bathroom. No staff to meet and greet but their keyless entry to building is a great idea.
- John (10/5): - Good room, excellent price
- Ekka (6/5): Very close to central Ballarat - Entrance only by phone call to obtain door lock code so never met owner as there is no reception.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Close to the city - Nice room in a quiet residential area, just one block form the cbd and close to the train and bus terminal.
Safe off street parking
Immaculate condition, really clean.
Good mattress and good quality bedding provided, with some handy brochures for travellers and DVDs and books to borrow in the lobby.
Spa bath well maintained and worked well
Standard room smaller than the images imply and no plates etc in the standard room, so please make sure it's right for you before booking.
Only way of communicating on arrival is mobile phone, so make sure you bring one. Once inside the building, a courtesy phone is provided.
- Daniel (8/5): - The room was comfortable and warmed up quickly. Quite close to cafes, food and nightlife.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room was cost efficient spotlessly clean, comfortable with a good heater for the cool of night. Suited us very well and the spa was very nice too. It totally suited us and we enjoyed our break
- Jazzy (10/5): Very lovely evening and comfortable sleep! - We arrived late; but it had been easy to make arrangements for a late arrival. The manager was very helpful and succinct in his directions. When we arrived, we were hungry and it was too late to go out, so we were pleased to find a package of two cookies to share. The room had nicer "extras" than any place we have stayed in for a long, long time....shampoo, conditioner, soaps and as I stated, the cookies.
The only drawback was we didn't know how to turn on the heater; but we crawled in bed and were soon warm. Bedding was very clean and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice little hotel...quiet - No complaints. Most Helpful when I called later as I thought I had lost some jewellry. I later found it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quiet but Central - I found Ballarat Serviced Apartments both peaceful and comfortable, while still being central to Ballarat.
- kristine (8/5): Last minute accommodation - Disappointed the spa did not work but overall good and would book again
- Mr Adam (8/5): Nice place to stay - The guesthouse was very nice, quiet and comfortable.
- Jeremy (4/5): Underwhelmed - We loved the apartment, however we could not bear to stay the second night on the very hard and uncomfortable bed. We both got very little sleep and had very sore backs in the morning.
- Allan (10/5): Great location - Very quiet location but convenient to Ballarat CBD. Room clean and well presented. Kitchen adequate. Free use of laundry.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Unable to watch the tv. the remote would not work.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Cosy cottage - We had a lovely, funky attic-level apartment that demands a return stay for a longer duration. And there is a very friendly pub just on the other side of that roundabout!
- Rebecca (8/5): Great quiet place to stay. close to main street - Great quiet place to stay. close to main street and also the railway station. reasonably cheap considering the location. lovely charm and rustic feel to the rooms. great that all rooms have a spa/jetted tub.
makes for a lovely weekend in Ballarat.
- Rebecca (8/5): Great quiet place to stay. close to main street - Great quiet place to stay. close to main street and also the railway station. reasonably cheap considering the location. lovely charm and rustic feel to the rooms. great that all rooms have a spa/jetted tub.
makes for a lovely weekend in Ballarat..
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very close to CBD in lovely historic area. - All instructions about access and facilities were excellent - no difficulty with anything given how late I arrived.
- David (10/5): Convenient location - Ballarat Serviced Apartments are convenient located to the Railway Station, shops and restaurants.
There is also a car park at the rear.
The bus stop at the front is for the bus that goes to Sovereign Hill.
We stayed in the Twilight Spa Apartment which was well furnished and clean.
The room had a DVD player and there was a selection of DVDs to borrow.
- Richard (10/5): Perfect Location with roomy and comfortable accom - Perfect location close to city.
Very friendly welcome (by phone + text)
- ledrider (10/5): Great Location to explore Ballarat - The apartments are very central to all the major City attractions in Ballarat and provide quiet & roomy accommodation. Checkin was easy and the apartment was well equipped for a weekend stay. Offstreet car parking is a bonus and easy to locate. Very quiet.
- lisa (8/5): unit 3 - had a lovely time. and would rent this place again next time staying in ballarat. ,it was clean and tidy
- andrew (10/5): - Very comfortable all you need within walking distance
- Jan (8/5): Homely - Great communication from owners to inform us how to find off street private parking and key location ....room was lovely and area quiet...would recommend this stay
- Jess (8/5): Everything you need good location - Accommodation is a bit dated but very clean and comfortable.
Good spot close to town and train station.
I was in Apartment 4 which had very low shower pressure which was a bit annoying.
Lovely spa f I had time to use it!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Twilight spa apartment #5 - We stayed for a weekend in January 2016. There is no front desk at the apartments but the instructions were sent straight to my phone via text message & were very simple & easy to follow. We stayed in the twilight spa apartment, number 5 (this is the only apartment upstairs). The apartment was clean & had great air conditioning in the living room & bedroom, perfect for warm nights. There was also a small tv on the wall in the bedroom which was a bonus. There is a seperate bathroom with a shower over a bathtub then there is the spa which is in a small room just off the bedroom. We really enjoyed relaxing in the spa watching the stars on a warm summer night. The apartments are in a great location, just walking distance from the main street, restaurants & shops. There are a couple of things to be aware of, which were not a big deal but nice to know.. 1. The stairs are very steep & they do not have access for prams or wheelchairs.. so if you have problems climbing stairs, choose an apartment downstairs & the 2nd thing was if you are tall, watch your head when getting into the shower. The ceiling in the bathroom is on a slant & my partner hit his head a couple of times. Overall a great place to stay & we would definitely stay here again if we return to Ballarat.
- theo (6/5): Close to centre of Ballarat - Ok location by info pack did not mention on site parking from rear lane. Parking restrictions on the street.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Only stayed one night and was exactly what I needed. Good kitchenette (no oven), nice little sitting area and comfy bed. Very easy to get access to property. Would return if I'm back in Ballarat
- Jeff (10/5): The rooms were comfortable & bed was fantastic. - The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were air-conditioned and heated. The washing facilities were good.
- Tim (8/5): Good experience well organized - Everything went well. It was more like a motel room than a serviced apartment but still very good/.
- jim (8/5): - lovely place ;-))
- Dennis (10/5): Ballarat Visit - Convenience location that nearby the train station and CBD. Room is simple but very well equipped, clean and neat.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great central location and clean! - I highly recommend staying at this apartment. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised as we entered the the apartment. There was a good size kitchenette and plenty of room to move throughout the apartment.
Heating and cooling was available if needed. The linen was crisp and clean. The decor was a mix of older style and modern with also a personal touch also.
Private parking was available at the rear of the building. It was in good walking distance to the railway station, the shops, cafe's and restaurants. For the price, this place is well worth staying at and recommend it!
- James (8/5): no good - Squick n floor boards from upstairs
- adelaide couple (8/5): right next to the train, and metres from fun - the studio room is small on kitchen, but had enough, and a pleasant table to dine at. the bath is huge and fun. the room fittings are just a little tired, but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, parking was good . great value for money.
- Julie (10/5): Great place to stay - We enjoyed our stay here. The manager went out of his way to help us with an early book in. Loved the older building. Nice big spa in a large bathroom. Quiet considering the busy road
- Frank & Liz (8/5): Very convenient - Excellent location wth parking at rear. Reception by phone but very welcoming and efficient. Spacious and clean older style apartment with good facilities. Mattress a little Spartan but all else very good.
- Christine (8/5): Comfortable and convenient - This is not a hotel, just rooms in a house. The bed was very comfortable and the large spa bath was fabulous. The room has all the facilities and there is a laundry room. Only downside was the TV is temperamental and the remote doesn't always work. We had the room by the entry door but didn't hear any noise. It's also in easy walking distance of the town centre.
- Matt (8/5): - Beautiful experience. Central and good parking. The room was a bit stuffy because bedroom window did not open. The bed was very comfortable. Overall an excellent experience.
- Pauline (8/5): Unpretentious old world charm - We stayed in the upstairs apartment which we found clean, spacious and full of old world charm. Good heating/cooling, spa, small kitchen and guest laundry made our stay very enjoyable. The apartment is within a short walk to town, restaurants and the cinema.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Close to royal South street theatre - Clean, comfortable for a short stay. Easy access and all information via emails
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nothing fancy, but in a convenient location - Stayed for three nights. Clean and tidy and in a fairly central location.
- Keith (10/5): Cute rooms, great service, perfect for price paid. - Easily accessible, lots of parking, outdoors area, and great location!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Comfortable room, great location.
- Dianne (8/5): Convenient and comforts - Check in was easy as we were given the code for the front door, actually situated on the side, via text message. We didn't actually meet any staff which was not an issue for us as we knew where we wanted to go but if you were not familiar with Ballarat there was no one to ask. the room was large enough and comfortable with a microwave, toaster, tea and coffee facilities, cups, cutlery, plates and bowls.
- Ness (10/5): Great apartment, close to town... quite location - Fantastic apartment,
Super clean,
fully equipped
Close to town, but still very quiet

- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing. Good value. - Great location. Enjoyed the privacy. Relaxing and peaceful.
- Erin (8/5): Will stay here again :) - What a great place to stay! The rooms are very generous and it was great to have access to cooking facilities. The hotel is close to town and has off street parking. We stayed upstairs and I must say the stairs were very steep(no so much stairs than a ladder with carpet :P). That said, if you are able bodied, upstairs is fine and the extra room is well worth the climb. Will stay here again :)
- Penny (8/5): Warm, comfortable apartment - The apartment is well set out, close to public transport and modern restaurants, bars, coffee, and shopping. Walk to Lake Wendouree. We had the best nights sleeps we've had for a while.
- Verified traveler (8/5): centralised apartment for get away stay - My stay at the apartment was a fantastic experience. Booking was easy and I experienced responsive telephone calls to confirm and adapt arrangements. The room was clean and comfortable...and situated so conveniently close to town; I walked to antique stores, the art gallery and the craft show, and later the picture theatre at night, all just down the road, and home on a cold night for a beautiful hot spa tub!!! ...not far to drive to shops, the lake or the Mill Market.
Enjoyed breakfast by the window with the street view.....all made my spontaneous get-away a fun experience!!
- Len (10/5): Lose to Ballarat CBD. - Close to all CBD facilities in Ballarat. Very good and clean unit, will most certainly this facilities again when visiting Ballarat.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great apartment. Nice and close to town! - We loved our stay. Twilight spa room was awesome. Close enough to town for us to walk to everything. Would re comment it to anyone!
- Ilze (8/5): Good accommodation, close to town centre. - Comfortable, good bed. The studio room has the shower over the spa bath which we found slippery and not easy to get into or out of when showering, as we are an "older" couple. Otherwise no problems. Close to town centre, and quiet at night.
- Jaypee (10/5): Central Ballarat Comfort - Although no "staff" on site, check in was easy and friendly. Room was spotless, warm and well furnished with all o/night necessities.
Microwave, fridge etc very handy.
Spa bath was a bonus although my brief stay did not enable me to enjoy it.
- Cath (8/5): close to shops / restauraunts - Took a while to get the room warm - but stayed toasty when it finally got there.
- Verified traveler (6/5): close to train station - We stayed in a ground floor room and heard loud noise from the bath upstairs.
Near the station, but as convenient for restaurants as other hotels near bakery hill.
- Verified traveler (8/5): neat clean facilities everything you could want - Close to city centre very self contained everything you could want to make a extended stay in Ballarat easy and simple. Clean neat comfortable facilities wonderful hot shower and electric blankets added to the comfort
- Greg & Bev (8/5): Very handy to Ballarat attractions - We stayed for 2 days and were happily able to walk to most places of interest. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped to allow us to cook our own meals during our stay. The location is very peaceful, although neighbouring guests can be heard. It is cosy and comfortable.
- Ballarat ! (8/5): Comfortable stay - Good value for money. Very spacious. Close to the town center. Good place to stay.
