- JaMaDaMaJa (7/5): Bare basics, but clean beds! - Location and price were the best features. Stayed while on our way home to QLD. There's no bells and whistles, but theres a clean bed. Cutlery and glasses were clean. Fridge came with milk and 2 unopened bottles of water (great) Carpark was enclosed with tall fencing including barbed wire. Walking distance to coles and woolies Would I stay again? Absolutely possibly Sign on shower door states hot water takes a while to heat up and come through, I left the shower run on hot only for 15 mins (waay too long). And it was still cold/luke warm.. Tried again the next day and same thing.. We had neighbors out the back of us who were drunk and obnoxiously loud. (I did text the staff and they offered to go and ask them to pipe down) The room comes with a microwave but no bench space to prepare food . Neighbours smoked at the front door and it blew into our bathroom. Couldnt comfortably watch TV from the beds single bed couldnt see it at all and double was positioned the wrong way.

Staff were incredibly friendly. - Absolutely stunning rooms, excellent customer service I needed an extension cord at 8pm and owner/manager was more than accomodating. There was no negative feedback about the property

- David (3/5): VERY AVERAGE ROOM AND DISAPPOINTING, NEEDED A LITTLE MORE EFFORT TO DETAIL. - No hot water in the shower, even after letting the hot water run for a very long time. Contental breakfast, jug and toaster didn't work, bed was good. Tv could not get to work. Good bed but short a towel for 2 people.

The electricity tripped in the evening and I was left in a dark room for over 3 hours, before I was moved to a different room. Absolutely horrific behaviour with a “tradie” trying to (or pretending to) fix the electricity for over 3 hours and walking into my dark room, when I was a female travelling alone. Hotel management did not take action, until I told them it was not acceptable. I was offered a refund, which of course did not happen either. Do not trust the hotel management.

- Ulla (8/5): - Nice, quiet area. Close to a shopping centre The sewerage smell in the room when walked in. Covered the toilet floor drain and put the bath math on it. Closed the toilet door and opened the windows. That way was able to get rid of the smell, but in the morning the bath mat was soaked, so there is a problem with the sewer, blockage somewhere and the drain water comes up the floor drain

- Colin (5/5): Good for one night only. - The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast. The room was tiny! Barely enough space to put our luggage. Only one chair, not very practical for a couple staying in the room. There were no reading lamps. The main lighting in the room was blinding, too bright.

- Quentin (4/5): Just passing through Taree on a bike. - The owner allowed me to park my Harley-Davidson in the foyer, as it's not the greatest area, and I caught two teens touching it when I went inside to check in. The room was tiny, and it felt claustrophobic. The door wouldn't lock, and the shower took over 5 minutes to warm up. A sign on the wall suggested patience. It's called the Railway motel for good reason. I was woken by trains and crossing signals several times. I had stayed in better motels for cheaper.
- Anne (9/5): A comfortable night sleep in an air conditioned room. - It was a spacious room with a very comfortable bed. The shower and water pressure were excellent. This accommodation is in a very quiet area and is easily accessible. There was room to park our car and trailer. It would have been good to have a couple of mugs in the kitchen area and complete set of cutlery for two.

- Stephen (2/5): Not at all impressed - Room clean and tidy People in rooms behind us yelling antisocial past 11pm. Seemed to know each other not sure if those rooms are long leased but after 8 hours driving and needing sleep i had to put up with that behaviour till late in the night.

- Ursula in Aus (5/5): Overnight Stay ONLY! Bare Basics. - The venue is interesting, and a short walk from everything. The room was fresh and clean. I had a tiny tv - with NO remote and a truncated picture. No bedside table or light, cups but no glasses, no switches or plugs at the bedside, no access to a hair dryer (I asked!). I had to turn off my wifi and use my own data because the connection was so poor. The overhead light had to be switched off and on at the door.
