• James (4/5): Not a great experience. - Good location near to a club and pub. Arrived at 4.50 after a 10 hour drive. The office was locked. No one responded to the three phone numbers on the door. No one responded until 30 minutes later after multiple calls. They did not provide a keysafe number, so was stuck there not knowing what to do. The Bed was like a semi inflated lilo. Very uncomfortable. when my wife moved to try and get comfortable I was bounced like on the aforesaid semi inflated mattress. The toilet flush was very poor.

Due to my mother's mobility we asked for ground floor and it was provided which was good. Room had microwave, tooster and kettle and mini fridge. Bed's were comfortable. Safe parking. I myself would stay at this hotel again if I had to come back to Mudgee Fridge made such a loud buzzing noise. And I think it was the business behind hotel which i think was a butcher that had a loud generator. Was quite noisy in our room 14 due to that. My mother had to sleep with earplugs in due to the constant loud buzzing of fridge and generator. Also some other hotel quest were quite inconsiderate with talking and making loud noises late at night and early morning. Not hotels fault. Old style shower over bath which was hard to use for my mother to step into with her bad knees and hips. Would be good if shower head was replaced with a detachable hand held instead of fixed

I actually cancelled my next booking with you as I am so unhappy with the way t - They double booked my room and left me stranded with no where to stay😡 The manager Erin! was not helpful or professional at all. She did not care that my reservation had been double booked and that I had nowhere to stay. Booking.com was not much better as I’m still waiting on the refund of 1/2 the cost of the hotel I had to stay in as there was nothing else available near my group of friends I was travelling with.

• Margaret (9/5): Our stay was excellent. - The location was perfect for us, as we were involved with the caravan park and the Club Mudgee, plus it's close to a supermarket. The room was clean, and had everything we needed. The staff were generous with milk, biscuits, etc. We had trouble getting the temperature right with the shower, but that could have been just our inability.

• Grahame O'Brien (7/5): A convenient place to stop for an overnight stay in Mudgee. - The motel was in an excellent location, close to town. Price was okay, given we were there on a Friday night and we were aware that Mudgee is a popular weekend escape for people. Room was reasonably comfortable for an overnight stay. Two things marred our visit a bit. We went to have a cup of tea ,and found that the carton of long- life milk provided by the motel had been opened. Needless to say, we couldn't use it and the office was closed by the time we found the milk. There are very bright security lights attached to the club next door. We had an upstairs room and the light shone in our room, despite the plantation shutters on the window. Between the lights on the verandah outside, and the lights next door, we did not get a very good sleep. Block out curtains would be handy.
