- sanjay (6/5): Location and facilities It wasn’t worth paying $320 a night - Beautiful sunset views☺️ Breakfast is good It didn’t feel safe at night, there’s not enough security system around the property, not enough lighting at night. No security doors for locking, no fly screens there was a lot of bugs in the bathroom. At night outdoor area had no lights at all, there was a solar light which was no point. It says outdoor bbq, but was so dirty we had to clean it before using, outdoor area was uncovered no roofing, felt too cold at night, floor area in bedroom and dining is all concrete no rugs or mats.

Tiere / Kängeruhs haben wir im Garten nicht gesehen. Unten am Wasser ist baden fraglich (ich habe dort einen Rochen gesehen), am Ufer sind viele natürliche Anspülungen.

- Andrew (9/5): A great getaway - The accommodation was quiet, well maintained and very comfortable. The location is fantastic giving easy access to nearby walks and a beach. It's also located a short drive from many local sites, the national Park and shops. The ingredients provided for the breakfasts were of decent quality and generous. Organisation was easy and the hosts are very accommodating. The only issue I have is my incompetence with an electric stovetop, the accommodation itself has nothing I didn't like

- Camilla (10/5): - Beautiful, quiet spot in a great location. The apartment is extremely well-accessorised, everything felt thoughtfully provided. The hosts were amazing, responsive, and very helpful. The porch offered a lovely garden view, with peaceful mornings of little birds flying from tree to tree, the occasional pelican gliding overhead, and beautiful evenings with an amazing sunset. The beach and a good walk are just down the stairs. And beware, if you arrive at night, drive carefully, as you might spot a few kangaroos running errands around the neighbourhood!

Our hosts provided breakfast makings to our order each morning and we prepared them in the well-appointed kitchen. Should have booked for three nights instead of two.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Relaxing - Jan and Greg are incredible hosts, so very welcoming. We loved hearing about the area and the wildlife of Australia. Their property is beautiful, and the walk along the beach was a perfect thing to do after traveling for 24 hours from the U.S. Breakfast was provided (you cooked it yourself), the bread was especially delicious. We loved our stay and highly recommend By the Beach.

Das Frühstük wurde am Morgen vor die Tür gestellt, so dass man in Ruhe und entspannt im Appartment frühstücken konnte. Die Besitzer waren sehr nett und haben uns einige gute Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben wie z.B. den Booderee National Park.

Sarah such a sweet women, she gave us some great suggestions I’m very thankful for that as she made our visit better on a rainy weekend. The apartment was generally fine, but one concern was that a sauce bottle provided in the breakfast was extremely unclean, with visible buildup and what looked like mould inside. It raised food safety concerns and clearly hadn’t been checked or replaced between guests. I didn’t raise this directly with the owner, but it’s something they should address for future stays Minor issue seem very limited on the hot water. For me it seemed to some how last for 5-10 mins.

Love the heated mattress pad! Greg and Jan, the hosts, were exceptional. Breakfast was included which was very nice! All good. Everything was to our liking!

- Duygu (8/5): Great B&B stay.. - Awesome location, only 10 mins from local shops and 20 mins from Husskinson where there are good places to eat. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast was awesome and easy to order. Hosts were very welcoming and informative of sanctuary Point and nearby suburbs. The bed was good but not super comfortable but does the trick after a long day of exploring. The plus side is the blankets are warm but if you do get cold during the night they have electric blankets. Not much I didn't like. It is a place where I will stay again in the future if we ever book in Sanctuary Point.

The weather didn’t play ball when we were here but it was so cosy, the kitchen set up made staying in a great way to enjoy our time without needing the sunshine! - Teri (6/5): Very pleasant owners , but dirty apartment - Pros: Greg and Jan are a lovely couple who welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. The breakfast options were great and the surroundings are tranquil, very residential. The apartment unfortunately was not clean ; the floors were very dirty , the shower head broken, and the bed was also uncomfortable. We also saw a cockroach in the room. The apartment does not justify the amount paid.

- Drinkell (6/5): Nice place, but a bit overpriced for what you get - 1) Nice location near the water, and very quiet. 2) Short drive to everything. 3) Hosts are lovely. 4) Apartment is very spacious 1) There are sensor lights outside each apartment which create a great amount of light inside when trying to sleep. Even if nobody is around, the wind makes the plants move which also triggers it, so you have bright lights shining into your apartment every few minutes. If you are sensitive to light while sleeping bring a eye mask or something otherwise you wont get a good sleep. 2) You can't actually see the water unless you leave your apartment and sit in the communal space where everyone can see you (trees have grown up since the photos) 3) Privacy is low - the blinds have huge gaps in them, and the way the apartments sit, some residents have to walk past your private area and windows if they want to see the water/view, so be wary of that while inside your apartment..
