The room was big and perfect for 2 Adults and 1 kid. The breakfast was included with our room, and the breakfast place was at the cafe next to the hotel. There are plenty of parking spots nearby if you cannot get one within the hotel perimeter. The breakfast place open at 8 am, it would be good if it open earlier because we needed to leave early in the morning then we would miss the breakfast.

• Vicki (8/5): A great place for a short stay. Amazing views of the lake - The location was amazing with great views of the lake from the upstairs room we had booked. Walking distance to the lake and all the amenities. Quiet location. Room was clean and ok for a short stay I suppose you pay for the view and accommodation in Tekapo is expensive no matter where you stay. We chose the breakfast included option and wouldn’t do that again. The breakfast was average and we could have got better elsewhere.

Right in the centre of the action. Short walk to the lakeside and 'The Church'. Breakfast was included from a local cafe but was a waste of money, low quality food and coffee. Second morning they had no room for us so we went next door and paid for a decent breakfast.

• SAKI (8/5): ロケーションが最高、清潔感もあり！ - 当方日本人です。 いろんなサイトを見て、価格、清潔感、利便性を考えこの施設に宿泊しました。 Googleでは建物が古いなどのコメントがありましたが、特に気にはなりませんでした。(経年劣化のみくらい お布団にもベッドバグはおらず、清潔でした。 スタッフの方もよく対応していただきました。 特にロケーションが最高でした！ 虫は湖の近くなので、扉を開けていればどこの施設でもいると思います。(どこから入ったのか、死にかけの蛾がいました笑 それはテカポに来ている以上覚悟してくださいね。 お湯のポットが少し汚れていました。 私は利用する前に自身で拭いたのと、何回かゆすぎしましたが、気になる方は利用しなければ良いと思います。

The noise from the main road nearby and the street below could be a little loud at times

The shower enclosure in bathroom was so small and found uncomfortable. No lift to get upstairs , unfortunately we had to carry up 2 heavy suitcases up outdoor stairs.

• Diane (9/5): Of all the places to stay on my road trip in the South Island this would be at the bottom apart from its location. - It’s convenient to what we wanted to do The bathroom was not well kept bits on wall outside of shower at bottom coming off or needed cleaning not as well equipped with the small things like a shower cap etc. did not see any staff at all only to collect key.
• ICCH (8/5): Great lakefront views and central location - It was walking distance to Church of Good Shepherd & Sheep dog statue. Lovely to be able to walk the shores of Lake Tekapo anytime. Easy access to restaurants ' supermarket and gift shops. Easy parking area too. Practically next door to Dark Sky Project especially convenient if you go for late nite star gazing tours. Back to hotel in a jiffy. Great lakefront views from a higher apartment floor. Beds were confortable and firm. Was pleasantly suprised by the complimentary breakfast vouchers choices . Tasty too. The noise from the dustbins collection early around 630am and noise from people accessing the dustbins. The back of our studio apartment was the garbage disposal bins area . These should be moved to a non accomodation area. Would have been better if the breakfast voucher contain some hot choices like congee or soups.

Central location views of lake and mountains, kettle and minifridge and basic crockery and utensils. No microwave, so eating in motels restricted. Breakfast voucher for cafe, doughboys, the breakfast was inedible, quite disgusting. Only used one voucher, coffee not provided with voucher, but was unpleasant when we purchased. Depressing..so we bought another breakfast.

• Gillian (8/5): Beautiful and comfortable room in a great location. Service seem d to cater to tour groups. - Room was nice and clean, spacious and had a great view of the lake. Loved access to laundry! Breakfast was okay but not worth the $25.00. Most of the seating was reserved for tourists groups and it seemed like the staff was mostly concerned with serving these groups. Wish we were charged $25 less and the we would have gone to the cafe next door.

• Kristin (10/5): - Amazing location, could walk straight out to the beach or market. Despite being close to everything, it was very quiet. Large room. A bit outdated, but very clean and it's nice to see everything doesn't need to be updated and replaced so often.
• Alex (3/5): Disappointing - very little value for money. - Left too early to get breakfast. Locality was far too cramped and crowded. Little orivacy Rooms poorly maintained, ill equipped and hugely overpriced.

• Hetal (1/5): - Nothing I paid 470 NZD for a night's stay from booking.com. That's a rip-off for that kind of motel and I checked on the motel website for the room prices, so I think Booking.com charged me way higher than the actual price. Never going to book again from here. I was disappointed with my stay. The room is in desperate need of renovation—it felt very old and worn. The furniture was worn, the carpet was dirty, and it smelled musty. More concerning was the bathroom, which had mould and was outdated. While the staff was friendly, the room conditions were poor. Not worth the price.
