- Meistersinger (9/5): The perfect family stay close to Shorncliffe beach - The room rate was just right and was provided the basic amenities. There’s always food accessible on site and the location of the property is a short distance to Brighton pier and Shorncliffe beach.

- Eddie (8/5): Excellent value for money - Helpful staff, very clean and great value for money. Short drive to Sandgate Railway Station. Good bistro with affordable meals.
- Jaiden (9/5): lovely staff, clean rooms - property was easily accessible, tidy and clearly well maintained. pub attached has wonderful food! overall it was pretty good, water pressure wasn’t fabulous but alright for a motel

- Glen (6/5): -
- Phillip (5/5): - Good value for money , but room needs a sink and windows need to be opened . Big cockroach in my room and the kids playground is 20 meters from my room so super noisy especially for a working trades person that needs to be up at 4 am . They should really have thought about that. This is my second stay at Brighton hotel and that really is the only thing that will probably stop me from coming back
- Paul (8/5): - Great location Nothing

- Sacha (8/5): Absolutely great value!! Beautifully refurbished venue and great staff. This is the place on the north side for watching - I did not stay here unfortunately. I booked the room (possibly on 2 occasions) however I was help up due to DV and then also catching up with an old friend. I’m not sure what booking number was for the night missed regarding DV as it would take time to look back through my records. But I have stayed at this property just after the renovation and it was nicely done and rooms were clean then. The staff have ALWAYS been friendly and go over and above for their customers. This used to be one of my locals, however I did not visit the venue for gaming, meals or accom during my last trip to Brisbane. 😎 N/A

- Erik (10/5): Great! Good lokation! Nice people! - Great! Very nice staff!
- Thelma (5/5): A terrible night. Fire alarm going off and police banging on the door next door. No staff available to contact. No forma - Fire alarm going off at 1:45am and not one staff was contactable. For almost two hours. Police banging on the door of the next room. Was a horrible experience.
- Damien (4/5): I only stay for the area - I only stay here for the area , i love brighton/sandgate , First thing we noticed was the bed was broken and staff knew about it and still rented the room out , the drains absolutely reek , the water is foul to drink , the rooms are not cleaned very well , we had a shit stain on the wall, also notified management and nothing done , disgusting , was empty bottles left in cupboard , fridge was not cleaned , old milk on shelves, etc etc
- Brad (9/5): Underrated gem! - Possibly the best staff experience I've had. Super helpful and friendly when we checked in explaining best transport options etc. Room was very clean, well equipped with a quiet aircon and renovated bathroom. Bed was a bit uncomfortable and probably due for a replacement, but it was acceptable for the night. The curtains didn't overlap and let sunshine in, but apart from that, zero complaints!
- Susanne (10/5): Excellent staff and facilities, handy to have a bar and restaurant on site. - So much value for such a low price - lots of little convenient touches like cereal and milk, microwave, and the ability to order drinks delivered to the room. Nothing.
- Nakachi (6/5): - Comfort suites Airconditioning not working
- Zukhra (10/5): -
- karen (9/5): - Close to everything. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable
- Nicole (10/5): -
- MelissaL (4/5): Not great. - Staff were friendly Having to check in at "the bar" after a long trip from Cairns was tiring in itself. Well, I stood in a line for ages to be served, only to be told I was at the wrong part of the bar for check ins. Then I had to move just round the corner and wait another 5 minutes to be seen (It was dinner time and the 3 staff that were on were expected to serve drinks, take meal orders, AND do the hotel check ins). Staff were good and were friendly. Just slammed as were very understaffed.
I was told I could order room service through a QR code in the room. This didn't work properly. You couldn't put your room number into it, so again I had to go back down to the bar to order food.
There was old soap still in the shower when I checked in, no tissues and only 3 packets of coffee. On my second day the coffee wasn't even replaced, and I had to grab some off the cleaner's trolley.
Lot's of small things but it all adds up. Wasnt cheap either being $475 for 2 nights stay in a very dated building. At least the TV was a great size lol
- Sharee (8/5): -
- Jade (9/5): -
- Kerri (6/5): The location was good for what we wanted and the manager was great to deal with - The staff were great We didn’t have warm water on the first night, and the pub crowd was a bit noisy at night at times
- Thomas (8/5): Everything is ok except for the kitchen need a sink - Neat and tidy No sink in the kitchen side , you have to use the sink in the bathroom
- Peter (8/5): Cardigan Bar Gig - Good location in Sandgate. The meals at the Brighton Hotel were excellent. There was a problem with the TV which required resolution.
- Gail (10/5): Excellent - Ground floor lovely staff
- john (7/5): -
- Franck (10/5): Great family stay - Clean, family friendly, friendly, helpful staff

- andrew (10/5): -
- Alli (4/5): Adequate for what we needed - The close proximity to Sandgate The room was small with 3 beds squashed in it. The shower took forever to warm up but once run was adequate. The shower drain was not working properly so you could have a small bath by the time you finished showering. The bathroom had no fan in it. There was only one mirror and sink in the room. The curtains didn’t keep out the light and you could hear conversations from the adjoining rooms. Walls were very thin. Saying that It was enough for the night.
- Lawrence (8/5): Nice and pleasant - Shower could do with a bit more pressure
- Phoebe (9/5): -
- Gary (10/5): -
- John (10/5): -
- Robert (8/5): great stay last minute. best price on the internet. - nicely renovated nothing
- Shawn (7/5): nice lean and pleasant - chocolates on pillow nice touch - location, and next to pub and city and train station small rooms, nowhere to site outside or break out area -- very boxy feeling ... afternoon sun punishing on site and rooms
- Jordan (7/5): -
- Shakira (10/5): -
- Barry (9/5): Good room, great meal and a great location for us. - The room was very good and we had dinner at the Hotel and it was excellent. Dinner was good value and service was good. It was all Ok.
- Leeann (9/5): - Nice 0
- Julie (8/5): Nice clean place to stay close to the Water. Not noisy at all. - Nice & clean
- Garth (7/5): Pleasant - Greta location and bistro bar is nice No air extractor in bathroom
- Tetiana (7/5): - I didn't like that there was no access to open windows. There wasn't enough fresh air, and because of that, the wet towels and clothes smelled.
- clare (10/5): -
- Cathy (10/5): Awesome.. will stay again - Clean and quiet
Bistro on site was fantastic
- Jane (7/5): A comfortable room with good value and close to the airport and the sea. - Location had easy walking access to the promenade on Morecambe Bay and was within 15 minutes drive to the airport. Good basic hotel. Clean and restaurant on site. The staff was responsive. This is a good place to stay if you want to get to the airport easily but don't want to stay in crowded Brisbane with its busy roads. A good value. The material that covered the bench where you put your suitcases in the room was shag like --we could do without that as we know rooms are high turnover and that material can collect dust pretty easily. Nothing major at all.
- Susan (8/5): A good value hotel - The room was clean and comfortable The shower didn't drain quickly
- Craig (8/5): Lovely Stay at the Brighton Hotel - The room was quiet, and the amenities were well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were a little soft. Some firm pillows would be nice.
- Sharon (6/5): Only stayed one night, staff were super helpful - Location and convenience Beds were a bit uncomfortable
- Adam Ezzy (8/5): - The lay out of the room
The look of the room Only thing I didn't like was low pressure in the shower
- Seamus (10/5): Very comfortable, very clean the room had all the essentials and the complentry bottles of water were a nice touch - It was very convenient to the location I need to go to.
The staff were very nice. Nothing
- Polly (9/5): - I love the shower room
- Mauro (6/5): - Comfortable, location is good and it was clean. We were unable to control the airvon in the room as the remote control was not working.
