• Adam (1/5): Bed bugs- stay away!!! - The TV worked and there was parking. Bed bugs. I’ve travelled around the world and it wasn’t until I stayed at this place in Geelong that I finally encountered bed bugs.

• Gould (9/5): have confidence to book. quiet environment close to Geelong ctre and the beach - Very quiet, secure and exceptionally clean. close to the beach and to Princes Hwy. Staff friendly. It was a very welcoming environment. Owner lives on site. Air con worked well but was a bit confusing to get to work. It was an older style. However, the room temperature was good. Solid brick helped keep it cosy.

• Alan and Pauline (9/5): Comfortable beds, nice hot shower, easy check-in and staff, I guess were owners, were excellent. - If travelling on the Spirit of Tasmania it’s a fantastic position, so close to ferry. Being on the main road it can be noisy, but the beds are so comfortable you will get a sound sleep so traffic shouldn’t be a problem.

Paul is a nice welcoming host ..definitely recommend fir a convenient non luxurious stay 😀❤️ It was exactly what I needed

The owners let us in early as our room was ready and waited for our return from the spirit of Tasmania as it was after 7.30.They were so lovely. The fool who was banging on a door drunk. And the cars were loud for a short time.

• Matthew (5/5): A great location with a great host - The owner Paul is a top bloke. He is very genuine and caring. Unlike some motels we've stayed in recently, the room was well appointed, although the decor desparately needed an update. It had a modern kettle, toaster and microwave and a full range of crockery and cutlery was provided. Milk was supplied. The free internet worked well. The shower and bathroom vanity had been recently upgraded, although perhaps some vandalism was already evident. Sheets and towels were clean and fresh and quality individual toiletries were provided. Both the mattress and the mattress base were well past their use-by date. My wife particularly found it to be lacking in support, although I didn't find rolling out the side as big a problem as at another Geelong motel several nights earlier. (With that mattress I struggled to stay in the bed.) I feel for the owner in that some patrons have no regard for what is provided and new mattresses can be quickly ruined.

• Joanne (8/5): Spirit - We were greeted by a lovely lady, our room which was comfortable with an awesome shower . We were close to the spirit of Tasmania which was perfect. It was a day when the pizza shop up the road was closed on a Wednesday night. . But that was our problem.
• Kennedy (3/5): - Nothing So old & dark, Dank smell,, So much traffic noise,, it realcould do with a complete refurbish including double glassed windows & a heavier door. The bed was ok compared to some that we'd stayed in over the last 12 days of hotel changes each night.

• TRISH (7/5): Although the room and bathroom were quite dated, it was clean which is always a bonus - The motel room was quite dated, although the bed was furnished in a modern manner We found our room to be very noisy, there would have been other rooms that were protected from the road noise due to their location
• LORRAINE (9/5): CLOSE TO SPIRIT OF TASMANIA - Being on a main road, it is a bit noisy but settles down towards evening. Ideal place to stay as only 5 mins away from boarding the Spirit of Tasmania. Comfy bed. Unit a bit dated. The gentleman who runs the office is so obliging and helpful.
